  1. Just imagine how angry someone would be if they really want to bid on this Cross Bone Clipper, but out of the kindness of their heart refrained from doing so as a favour to you. This demonstrates a valuable lesson: NEVER refrain from bidding on eBay auction out of sympathy for another, because that person may not end up bidding anyway.
  2. How do you know so much about domain registeration Mr Beard? Do you have your own domains or work in the IT industry?
  3. I thought Fort Brighton was brilliant as it was - what more could you possibly want to do to it?
  4. Yes, I prefer the SYSTEM scale ships too. I suppose that's because they allow for more detail and greater functionality, plus the mini-figures also add a degree of delightfulness to them. So I be wonderin Mr Walkers, why do you prefer ships with room for mini-figures?
  5. Which one is Fort Brighton? Is that the big harbour you built with a MLCAD WIP thread - or am I thinking of something else?
  6. Wish you had one what Mr Walkers? A 4+ Red Beard's Pirate Ship?
  7. Did you hear Mr ZCerberus's words, Mr Tiber? X-D If you want a full list out results for all Mythbusters Specials, then follow the links in my previous post You mean LEGO musket and pistols, or the real geninue historic relects valued at 100's or maybe even 1000's of dollars? And what we yer be doing with such a device?
  8. Mr Norrington, you have much to learn... But back to on topic... Mr Norrington, what do you find so wonderful about the little ship we have here?
  9. Errr... The Armada line can out in 1996, you haven't been working on The Venganza for the past 11 years have you? :-P
  10. Yes, indeed! It would take me years to complete a MOC of this size and awesomeness. But is the Artibter II really completed - it won't be you go back and add those extra features. Yes, that's a wonderful idea! Get to work right away! We're due for a new WIP thread any day now X-D
  11. I see we haven't progressed since Mr Tiber's last post. This thread is about "That great feeling" and surely kissing Mr Norro would give you "that great feeling"?
  12. Good work poninting that out Mr Phred! :-/ :-| I think I've fixed the problem now.
  13. Yes, "Mr Attack" is a very threatening Pirate name indeed! Although, since you've got a ship by the name of The Crimson tyrant perhaps it should be "Captain Attack". Captain Attack by name, and captain attack by nature!
  14. Any particular reason(s) you decided to make the ship that long with a hull that narrow?
  15. Split Enz sung a song about that... They also sung a song about 6 months in a leaky boat... What a remarkable concindence that 30 years later those songs could relate to this MOC.
  16. Your first ship MOC is proving to be quite popular Mr Attack. I was wondering if you've seen the Making Sails Tutorial? There's some good sail making tips which you might find useful if you intend to make more sails.
  17. That was great! Right up until it got to the courthouse scene, then it seemed like it had ran out of interesting material...
  18. I must say The Venganza is a bast improvement over the original Arbiter, particularly the sails. Even though the current sails are bright white the previously used Imperial Flagship sails didn't work very well with the hull at all. But mentioning the hull I'd have to say it seems a bit too narrow for the length of the ship.
  19. Yes the sails certainly are white, they're brighter than the hull even - but how long will it take before they start to discolour?
  20. It appears you're using paper sails - will you be replacing them with something made of fabric in the future?
  21. Well back to the drawingboard you go to add these features X-D
  22. You're the only one with a dirty mind Mister Norrington, as Mr Tiber has already reminded you what I was thinking, and I'm sure girls can have larges amounts of creativity too.
  23. So the Arbiter II is finally finished after all this time! Has it been officially lanched yet with the traditional christening - I.e. wasting a perfectly good bottle of champagne by breaking it against the hull? :-D
  24. Unfortunately I don't have time to do such things, but you should have your own Cross Bone Clipper - if everyone in the world dares not to bid on that eBay auction.
  25. Have you been on the rum again Mr Norrington?
