You did write "Who are they going to attack with that raft anyway..." which sounded like there was the prospect of attacking someone. Had written "How are they going to idefend with that raft anyway" t'would have been a different intreptation entirely. Nobody here made this raft as far as I'm aware. I found it on Brickshelf ages ago.

I get no pictures when I visit that webpage, but maybe they've been removed for some reason. Anyhow, if you look to the list of themes on the left you'll notice Vikings is bolded, and if you click on the text it will take you to a list of Viking sets of which "7029 - Skeleton Ship Attack" is at the bottom. So perhaps this is an upcoming Vikings set... EDIT Mr Tiber beat me to it!

What gives you the idea they're going to attack anyone on that raft Mr Bonaparte? The impression I get is they've built that raft with whatever they could find, not preparing to go into battle.

That Imperial Guard flag is looking really small now! I think it needs a second flag to the left side to balance things up.

You're missing the point. eBay has a large market for Pirate LEGO, so the purpose of auctioning the images is to advertise our link to eBay buyers who are unaware of AFOL sites like Eurobricks, LUGNET, etc. (I was one for about 3 years). The idea is: a potential buyer searches for "Pirate LEGO" and a listing for the Pirate LEGO wallpapers appears in the research results. The listing has a 800 x 600 preview of the wallpaper which has "www.piratebricks.com" on it somewhere. Hopefully the buyer becomes curious and investigates that link, but whether they buy the graphics is irrelevant. However, to abide by the eBay terms and conditions we must auction something, so we offer a higher resolution version of the graphics in the preview and maybe some extra goodies. But the point is there are Pirate LEGO Fans using eBay who are unaware of AFOL communities and I want to promote the forum to them.

Have you not seen my Catapult Raft SYSTEMized thread? I tried to improve a 4+ set by adding more pieces and replacing the mini-figures but it didn't work too well. You need to stop and browse the Pirate forum more thoroughly before you making recommendations on what other users should do. Also tone down the smiley usage because you're being too excessive.

This is great! It would make a good a small town set for the Agriculture sub-theme. Why doesn't The LEGO Group do this kind licencing? John Deere rocks! *y*

Naturally when I saw your coach I immediately thought "How could this be integrated into the Pirate theme?" but I didn't write anything because I didn't want to bring up Pirates in a Castle thread. But since you mentioned them first I thought I might as well now. Incidentially I watched Cutthroat Island last night and if you've seen that you may recall there's a case seen with a coach, and there's also a coach in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. I have no idea how historically accurate they are, but if you ever create a thread in the Pirate MOC Forum about such a coach I'll grab a couple of screen captures for you.

I noticed you're using new grey or "bley" for the roofs of two of the dwellings, is this because of limited piece selection or because of conscious choice? Personally I think that shade of grey looks too metallic but perhaps its only the lighting giving it that extra shine.

This set looks like its cross between Castaway's Raft and Renegade Raft and made a whole heap bigger. So I pose these questions to ye: 1) Does this frankenstien combination make for an interesting raft? 2) Is the idea original enough or should the creator have put more thought into the design? 3) How could this raft be improved? 4) What features do you lost like about this raft?

Is this MOC based on the actual cemetery or is it just a concoction of your imagination to which you applied the name later?

What an elegant coach Mr Ghoulrealm, but I'm not sure that I like the doors. It must be the studs... But those aside, the coach itself is definitely fit for a king.. Or two...

You've got quite a nice Viking Village happening here Mr Athos! How much bigger would you like to make it should the pieces you need become available in the future?
