Thank you to everybody who participated Hundreds and hundreds of hours went into programming the Talking Skull. It wasn't prefect, easily hundreds more hours could have went into refining it but time just didn't permit. If you've like to talk about how you discovered the Magic Words and/or Prize Code, please do so in this thread. Without a doubt, Zorro has been the most committed and hardworking person I've recruited to Classic-Pirates.com. He was always eager to learn and very agreeable which saw him climb the ranks in record time. We spent many hours brainstorming future directions for Classic-Pirates.com and he had an incredible knack of keeping me motivated. Admiral Sir, I give you a final salute!

Yeah, tradtional retailers aren't keeping up with consumer buying trends. So rather than bitching about taxing consumers further they should make greater efforts to accomodate their needs. Primarily by making their stock available for puchase online at prices competitive to the international market. Recently I've been talking over the phone with the manager of Bricks to the World and he said they are doing quite well. He also mentioned the LEGO Group considers BTTW as a benchmark for online LEGO retailers. Which is no surprise because go the extra mile by attending events and conventions, and providing sponsorship. They've even sponsored Classic-Pirates.com's Talking Skull promotion. Obviously these efforts are targetted at an AFOL consumer base, but could you imagine Kmart, Big W, Toys R' Us, etc. putting in such efforts to reach their consumers?

This weekend Mailing List subscribers will be Emailed all three Teaser Images. Each Teaser Image has been UPDATED with new hints. Depends which prize you're trying to win. The "1993" hint corresponds to a different prize.

You should have receieved a confirmation Email with a link you need to click to confirm your subscription - have you checked your Junk Email folder?

You'll find them on Twitter or the Facebook page, or the Teaser Image on the Eurobricks homepage. And then of course there's the Mailing List... I've just Emailed the Tips and Teaser Image #2 to the new subscribers who didn't receive them. New tips will be Emailed later in the week however.

When did you sign up? The hints were Emailed over 2 days ago, it you weren't on the Mailing List you would have missed out. More hints will be Emailed in a couple of days.

Some people seem to want to share how they came across Prize Code, so maybe they can share first and solutions can be revealed later. Did you check out the Seven Seas tab on the Facebook page? And don't neglect that tab because the hint may well change periodically. To secure your prize must quote the Prize Code identically otherwise somebody can steal it from you, should that quote the Prize Code identically.

It would be a bloomin' shame if there was another prize in the near vicinity and you helped somebody else find it.

Unfortunately this is not the case. When you've entered a prize winning response the Talking Skull will give you Prize Code in the following format: Prize Code #00 - Example If you do not see a reponse similiar to the above you have not won a prize.

All new hints were just added and the code had an error in it. The bug should be fixed now.

The Skull is very ambiguous and misleading, it CANNOT be trusted. Only trust the hints you receive through Facebook, Twitter and the Mailing List. Some people don't seem to need hints anyway and have done very well figuring things out for themself.
