Ok, so that was your own personal speculation and nothing confirmed in the source material. As of 2015 the current business strategy regarding LEGO Pirates is to release a new wave of sets every 5-7 years. There are no plans for yearly releases or an ongoing theme. But whether that is still the strategy I cannot confirm... That one is from 1987 so it predates Pirates by a couple of years. Where precisely was it stated sales were lackluster? Was it in the 2001/2002 yearly official reports? Anecdotally, I recall seeing them in local department stores and deliberately waited for a sale in which I'd swoop in and clean up. But they sold rather well and no sale eventuated so I turned to eBay instead.

What evidence indicates Pirates mini-figures?

If you follow Eurobricks on Instagram you may have seen the below post in which an alleged casting agent for LEGO Masters wants to make contact. Whether it's just with @paokus or Eurobricks in general is currently unclear... and whether this is legitimate or not we're yet to confirm, but Eurobricks definitely has many talented builders whose skills could be featured on this show. Plus, Eurobricks should receive publicity from LEGO Masters if they wish to cast builders based on the MOCs they discover in our forums and social profiles. So let the negotiations begin!

Peterpannie, welcome to Eurobricks my good mannie! What a terrible pun! Also, I assumed gender which is probably politically incorrect in the 21st century.
-
So many great MOCs it's hard to keep up with everything! But I'd seen this one posted outside Eurobricks so it was only a matter of time before it made an appearance here.
-
Eurobricks member Paokus, has done it again and has revealed another of his superb LEGO Ideas submissions, Euclides Sector II. So blast-off to the LEGO Sci-Fi forum for more photos, discussion and the opportunity to support the Classic Space cause!

Still, feel free to share your "outtakes", I'm sure everyone would still love to see the concept even if it didn't execute well.

[MOC] M:Tron goes castle and Blacktrons are undeads!
Mister Phes replied to Kalais's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
You're very welcome! -
Well done, @hachiroku this is quite humorous and clever so onto the Eurbricks frontpage it goes! Hey, is that the Big Bad Wolf's tail hanging out of Raptor Hood's mouth?
-
Eurobricks member Hachiroku brings us the classic children's tale "The Little Red Raptor Hood" for his submission in the LEGO Ideas Jurassic Park contest. Head straight to grandma's house... I mean the LEGO Licensed Forum for more photos and discussion.

[MOC] M:Tron goes castle and Blacktrons are undeads!
Mister Phes replied to Kalais's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
@Kalais, this is awesome! For years the LEGO Group has experimented with fusing Castle and science fiction (E.g. Knights Kingdom II and Nexo Knights) but I've never found the result appealing. But you've done what they haven't... and that's look to their existing intellectual property for right balance of history and future. So on to the Eurobricks frontpage your M:Tron Castle MOC goes! -
Eurobricks member Kalais has fused the LEGO Space and Castle themes to create this magnificent monstrosity! Set a course directly to the LEGO History Themes Forum (not the LEGO Sci-Fi Forum) for discussion and more photos.

Good work, @Captain Nemo! Forum housekeeping can be quite challenging so finding a solution to avoid an overabundance of similar topics is most welcoming.

This is a mighty fine review, @kaelthas so I have posted it on the Eurobricks frontpage!

Welcome to the light side, @GrandiJoos!

I've just flagged him as a spammer so that should put a stop to that nonsense. But if you encounter spammers, please report their posts as that will help the staff to take action faster.

T'would be great if someone took the initiative to create a topic and source some static images for this wonderful creation. And then eventually we can post on the Eurobricks homepage and Classic-Pirates.com.
