At first I was having an issue with the chest being so squarish. Then I thought about it and looked at the other pictures and I decided it is great. This isn't just a special colored bionicle but it has style and plenty of parts to bulk it out and make it look like a samurai. My reaction 8-

Don't worry Jipay. I think he is merely testing to see how the forum works. Many other forums allow you to delete your post. Besides unless they lied about their age |-/ they should be old enough to be here. ;-)

The good and the bad Good: great shape and colors nice greebs and snot work very sleek the hidden weapons, landing gear and the ladder to the cockpit are excellent Bad: almost no studs, I prefer a more classic look LEGO without studs doesn't seem right the silver tubes in the front look way out of place when the rest of the greebs are all gray the cockpit itself seems out of place Overall a nice ship but not something I would display. It fits well with the current emphasis on studless, greeb filled, maxed snot building space MOCs I have seen over the last year. I would like to see a more classic version with less greeb/snot focus and some more studs showing. As it is now it looks more like a hasbro toy than a LEGO model.

GUNSLIGNERS SALOON wild west set #6758
SuvieD replied to Brick Miner's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Like others have said I would place walls at least on the second floor to fill this out some. I would also add a 2x plate just under the saloon sticker. I would also have a non lifting floor. If LEGO were making this it would be designed for 8-12 year olds who have much smaller hands. It would use less pieces and be more sturdy. The set looks fun but is too open. Aside from that I must say this is an excellent MOC. It fits with the theme so well and the art design is very fitting and well made. Any fan of the western theme would be proud to own this I imagine. *y* MOC on! -
$100 with shipping would be a decent deal. $150 would be more expensive but a decent top price especially if you wanted the set badly enough. $50 would be a steal and more along the lines of what I would hope to pay. None were mint or even in box so I would say that if you paid more than $150 you paid to much.

I need to see more pictures before I can comment. I will check back in. Right now it is looking fair to good with some nice detail, plenty on action and figures. The sails on the rowboat seem overkill for such a tiny craft.

You could still delete them to be a little respectful... I didn't think we'd be getting pics till about July at earliest... Dash is a fan and though he should not of posted pics if requested not to, especially because the pictures were confidential, it is not in anyway his fault that someone was fired. The person who sent the pictures clearly is the one responsible for the loss of his job. He has no one to blame but himself. Had he done his job and protected the pictures from getting leaked he would still have the job. My guess is that they do not work for LEGO but either TRU or a company involved in the box art. Sad that they would lose their job. Sometimes the best lessons are learned the hard way.

I am liking the military base. It could have used so extra work but the concept is nice and the layout is great. My favorite part is the tower built into the rock.

:-D Funny little car. It is perfect scale with the racers from a few years back. Nice details and shape.

Welcome to the boards. I look forward to seeing some of your buildings.

I think you mean Sentai Fortress. I doubt LEGO is going to be making a Hentai Fortress any time soon. I know they are doing anime now but hentai is not suitable for the target audience LEGO sells to.

Don't paint parts! *sing* I am not really sure about what pieces you are trying to find but I would not recommend paint a part. If you absolutely need to check out MCN and ask them what they think. They cusotmize parts all the time and they will be the most help to you if you decide to paint. I think you would be better off trying to be creative and use other parts to create the same look or effect of the pieces you are looking for. Also make sure you check Bricklink carefully to see if the part you want is not for sale there. You would be amazed at how many parts come in color you didn't even know existed.

As the Nui Turns Days of Our Bionicle General Bionicle All My Toa The Young and the Piraka They have you hooked. I finally get it. Bioincle is a soap opera for young boys (and men) much like the cartoons of the 80's and early 90's used to be. :-D

THE OLD Official Eurobricks Straightshooters List

A nomination for Sir Dillon on a fast and excellent trade! *y* -
Welcome to you Piglet. Have fun and don't forget to post new MOCs.

At-St here we come! I don't really think we need a new At-At yet, before 2011 yes, but not yet. Though my true hope is in that we will finally get some of the characters from Star Wars as minifigures. Panda or rebel troops would be so awesome. Besides we already have the skiff which is huge in it and hopefully we will get a few more that tie in.

Very well done. Really nice and in LEGO store as well. *y* *y*

We had a few bad apples actually post MOCs and claim they were theirs in the not too distant past. Which sort of makes you question validity a little. Also, like the other said people often, including Phes, post others MOCs to insure there is something interesting to talk about. Not that we want you to toot your own horn but a simple little sentence like "I built this last week" clears it up fast and easy like. I am looking forward to more awesome ninja MOCs! MOC on!

Had Lucas actually directed The Empire Strikes Back, this is probably what it woiuld have looked like. Luke would have been made into a clown and some Joker into an awesome dual pistol wielding villian. Of course in true Lucas style the Villian would have died in some cheesy sequence merely to advance the already weak plot. The sequence begins with this new quotable line "I am Skywalker, say hello to my pimp stick!"

The lightsaber blade used in the dino set guns got stuck on mine. I ended up break the technic part it was stuck in to retrieve the more valuable blade. Still the blades are obviously not completely round or to the proper size. I have broken many clips as they are so thin they break somewhat easily. Most thin plastic parts do with any significant stress. I am suprised that a reinforced round clip would break though. In 20 some odd years of using LEGO I have only broken one or two and that was through abusive play or misuse. Out of the tens of thousands of pieces I own I am happy to say I have broken less than 1% of them. No other toy can boast such durablity.

A good first pirate MOC. I like the look of the ship. The tan and black are nice compliments. The sails are not at all in the right places or the right sizes for a ship this big though. The fort (or section of a fort really) is okay. The tower on the rock piece is really not fitting for me though. It should be round and have the canon on the inside. Also the canons between the battlements should have a covering over them and the spacing should allow for turning and movement. Cannons on ships cannot always move so wekll but those on land have that advantage. If you rebuild consider making use of it. The building does look nice though construction is great the dock is wide, low to the water and believable. Black is a fitting color as the wood would have been treated to prevent rotting. The rock area could use a little color variation or at the least some moss or seaweed growing near the bottom. Not a fault but it is little details that take the good MOC to the the great MOC level. Nice build overall, looks fun to play with or maybe a good start to a costal fort or town. MOC on!

Not sure if I like the ski/boat thing but it works and seems like something a villan would ride. The raft has some basic but nice work also. The real treasure is the new Batboat. Simple, sleek and fast looking. The shape is perfect and the cockpit is excellent. It looks very advanced and fit well with the Batman ideal. The only thing missing is some sort of pop up missle launcher for taking out airborne or larger targets. MOC on!

This is why EB is so great. We can give an admin a hard time and he doesn't instantly whip out the ban stick! We are all spammers of a sort. Some of us are in slow motion, while others seem to be in fast forward and the majority are somewher in between. Our own forum doesn't really work for castle or adventurer themes though as the only truely specific forums are the buy/sell/trade and pirate, one for obvious reasons and the other because it is so popular.

I made a figure but never got around to taking any pictures. It is fun entering contests even if there is no prize.
