It is still very tough to find a Wii anywhere. They are being sold it seems almost randomly. Stores get shipments via ups instead of traditional means and no more than one shipment a week usually. I have been trying everyday since launch and I have come up short each time. On Friday my local Gamestop had six come in and I was number seven in line. Best of luck to everyone in getting one. Do everybody a favor and don't buy anything Wii off ebay. It is all the vultures that are keeping the thing nearly impossible to buy. Don't support that. Thankfully more will become available every week. Just keep calling the stores and trying to find out when they will be coming in next.

Hey thanks everyone. I have all the answers I need now. This helped out a lot. See you soon with my latest LEGO projects.

Yeah, I know this survey isn't great. It is hard to have multiple answers and whatnot. Just answer anything as best as you can. If you aren't sure just use the other tab and then leave a little comment in a reply about what you think. I only need about ten participants. So if you are in contact with someone frequently have them stop in and take the poll. Thanks everyone for replying so far. I have to get back to class now though. Later

I have a project for my Anthropology class about eating behaviors. If you can take a minute or two and help me out. If you answer other please describe what the other is in a sentence or two. Extra questions that will also help are What vegetables would you eat/not eat? How would you feel or react to someone sitting next to you eating something you would not? Do you have any examples or horror stories about certain foods you would not eat (again)? Thanks in advance, -Dan

Hey guys those sound great. Just let me know what you are looking for, if anything, from firered. I don't have many exclusives or such but I have time to breed in some of my classes so if you want a sweet pokemon let me know I can get one for you. I am working on a power house Flareon right now but he isn't for trade.

218 with around 70 being buys. Not buying anything lately though. Only selling to help pay for school. -
Does anyone know when these games will come out in English? I want to get the Pearl version for it's superior pokemon and the water dragon legendary. Trading wifi will be awesome. If anyone has a leaf green version make sure you breed a few of the exclusive pokemon in it to trade to me later on. I will be sure to do the same. "I wanna be the very best, like no one ever . . ."

It is a fleshy. :-X Take the thing out and burn it! *sing* It looks really good but LEGO just is LEGO in flesh. Not for me anyway. You didn't happen to have a piccolo custom do you?

Well, I am not sure. I have class every week day, volunteer 8 hours a week as a tutor on top of my previous schedule minus working right now. This is the first time I have had to even check EB since my post in the thread earlier. I will try to build and enter but don't count on me. Even with a month extra, I am still trying to find time to work on my pirate ship and that is my priority in LEGO. Good luck to everyone else though!

That looks similar to the custom cannons I have. Mine are shorter and use the newer wheel/pucks from the KK2 catapult. Great minds must think alike. This is the best way I have found to make a mid-size cannon though the technic pin connector and wheels can end up costing quite a bit it is still much cheaper than the official cannons.

The Striker is the best ship of any size ever. Even without the light and sound parts it is a great ship. Of course the bases will always be my favorite space sets. Go, space police!

Not enough time for me. Good luck contestants! If anyone needs a story line I have a good one, pm me if you can't of one yourself.

Are you interesting in a Pirate MOC competition?
SuvieD replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
If you are going to do this you will need multiple categories, multiple prizes that may be actual sets, custom sets, figures, or other worthy prizes. You will want to have the building period open for around 2-3 months so plenty of entries can be entered and have a strict rule base to prevent any confusion. And for the record, I did not start a contest for ship building. I issued a challange to encourage others to try build a ship. Nothing more. My personal challange was declined and was not open for everyone. Phes, if you need prizes or ideas let me know. I am willing to help out. -
Welcome to the boards Holly. It is true that too few females generally are into LEGO as adults. For some reason men find it easier or are more easily accepted "playing" with a "childs" toy. Also, sadly it does happen that building unique creations can turn into somewhat of a contest even when no contest is being held. The nature of a man I guess to stoke the ego and show off. Funny thing is that it scares off most of the girls and we are all left to impress each other. If you do build yourself and feel like sharing or want to pick up on some new techniques try looking through some of the things on brickshelf. See you around.

I was done with Star wars back in 2002. I like some of the parts and I would like to have one of each of the figures but really with how much they cost and the fact that the sets price ranges increase every year I will surely pass on all of them in future unless they are similar to the droid set coming out. Flesh tones destroyed any real desire for the figures anyway so that pretty much ruins any desire for any set. I can pick up parts a year or so after release for pennies each and just skip all the garbage I don't want in the first place. Remakes don't bother me much though. I would just like to get a starwars chess set/ or somehow get minifigure sets. Everything else can be left for the ebay vultures.

Love the droid pack. I will probably get a few of those and pass on everything else. I mean Exo force, aquasharks and other themes are more interesting to me anyway.

I like the crab set. The others are not all that great for me. But the crab looks really nice and the sub in that set also has some nice parts. I will look at getting this one, if I can afford it. -
Who needs more iron drones? Pick up any of the bigger sets that just came out and you will have plenty! I like the small ones with the bionicle parts. I hope if they use those on the larger models infuture that they double up in place though as they can seem so skimpy. Or maybe design some with the purpose in mind of adding system parts to the outside. I am still waitng for a female character and some crewmen not driving mecha.

A nomination for MattZitron is in order. His excellence and speedy payment are superb! -
Not one for voting for myself. I voted for ExoChamp. It has a nifty legs only design that I could see being used for that character. Best of luck to everyone though!

Firestorm Advanced Human Lancer Mecha Check it out. One not so great picture but that is all I have had time for this week. University is enough of a burden for me right now. Anyway, Firestrom is built with it's user in mind. Agile, quick and built to turn the tides of battle in it's favor. It is equipped with two light forward laser concussion blasters a small quad of armor piercing missles and of course the "hammer" lance. Equipped with two rear thrusters this light mecha can travel at high speeds and over nearly any terrain. It is built with light armor and designed to avoid enemy fire instead take it like some heavy class versions would. It's primary use is to tip or knock over other vehicles/mecha and make them vunerable to more percise heavy fire. The weapons are more than adequate for humans and small androids but the mecha requires the pilot to utilize speed and momentum to literally drop it's opponents. Sensei prizes this machine for it's ability to strike when needed and provide easy targets for his students. In the hands of a less experienced pilot this machine would be a death trap. In the hands of a master it is a sword capable of cutting any enemy down to size. MOC on Mecha builders!

This week has been somewhat of a nightmare for me. Thankfully only 3 more hours until it ends. Hopefully University won't end up being a nightmare on Tuesday. Congrats on the publishing!

Anyone needing a shipping address for the US is welcome to PM me and request to use mine. I may not give it to you but for more established members I see no reason. I would prefer to ship only monthly though, so if that is a problem consider asking someone else. Monthly shipping will allow people to buy mutltiple auctions/bricklink orders anyway and save on shipping overall.

If the chick disses LEGO tell her to leave. She is not worth your time. If you have a positive and creative hobby that is good for you and hurts no one and a girl can't support that she is not worth your time. The best thing you can do is try to find a girl who at least likes you for who you are and will support you regardless of your hobby. Don't settle for second rate girls who don't really care about you. Of course remember balance is the key. There is a ditch on both sides of a road, stay out of them. If LEGO is your number one priority you may need to change yourself. Wow this topic is really moving along into so many areas. If you find yourself in a dark age just bring along some ghost shrouds to light your way to a new lightbulb.

All other new 2007 sets (including new theme)
SuvieD replied to sam89's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Not to be sexist but wouldn't a purple Toa be a she most likely? Not that I am very interested though. I mostly would want a dark teal anything including a Toa much more than anything purple. But for me system is where it is at. So no news of anything bionicle is all that exciting unless it is a nice playset or something.
