In these times of war, settlements across the kingdom are exercising their defences, including the garrison at King's Harbour on Cocovia. Although distant from the Lotus War in the Far East, the recent conflict on Terraversa did stir up the troops considerably, leading commanders to step up training and preparing defences at an accelerated rate. While many soldiers find this tiresome, the 45th Royal Artillery Regiment in King's Harbour gunners have taken great delight in exercising their howitzers from prepared positions around the city. This is likely due to the joy of being allowed to fire their field howitzers in earnest, tempered by the knowledge that all the hard work of setting up the embankments have been done by engineers and infantry. ____ An entry to the GoC challenge, Redcoats Rule. C&C welcome. (Unfortunately, these are old pictures from before my photo lamp, and the light is... horrible.)

[OL - FB] Lacroix Oliveyard, a quiet start
Bregir replied to Thomas Waagenaar's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
I enjoyed following the wips on discord, and the result is really nice. Your olive trees really look great, and having hiked a bit in Italy, the villa and the surroundings really do have that vibe. It's a bit less green than Tuscany, but it is still beautiful! I like your well placed "clutter" like the little boxes and amphorae and the different sections of the buildings really make it look very real. Great job! -
This is bloody beautiful, Spud. I am super impressed, to be honest. It just oozes atmosphere! Excellent work and a definite from me!

Excellent build. Not sure if you need it, but hereby a for GoH from me -
I like this new strategic direction for the WTC and agree with Ayrlego in agreeing with your plans. I will be looking forward to following the D.U.M.B.A.S.S. Division going forward! ;)

Nice looking mangrove and very cool "action shots"! I like these full Lego shots. The mangrove and the small waves are nice details. A from me. (PS. Technically, GoC builds should be kept assembled until feedback is given, as reviewers may request improvements. Just a general reminder to avoid issues in the future for builders)

Really good vignette showing some convincing battle damage! Well done!

Nice to see some native styles get some love! I absolutely adore this setup - many nice details all around, and the overall aesthetic is excellent. Only piece of feedback is that the renders are a bit shiny. No clue how to handle it, but maybe someone can offer some advice? :) -

Dear sir, We are most honoured by your communication. The Royal Society welcomes any collaboration in the advancement of science, and the specific areas of study as mentioned in your most esteemed letter promises significant advantages. Having discussed this with my immediate fellows, I regret to say none of us are familiar with your research, nor entirely clear on the specifics of such a collaboration. The form is no longer in use, although we still have a functionality for handling GM input. There is a thread where you can post requests for input. Note that it has been quiet for a while, but if you do add something, we will do our best to respond. Both rules and the input request thread should be linked in the master index. Also, yay - someone mentioned the RSNP! Would be nice to see some activity there again. And the building is looking fabulous, btw! -
Welcome aboard, Lt. Palmer! I really like the Piper, particularly the bows, where you've achieved some excellent shaping! The tapering towards the stern is a bit blocky, though. Perhaps something to work on for future builds. I really like your rigging too - really excellent work - I am hoping young Palmer will do the Royal Navy proud!

[OL-FB] Is this swamp worth something?
Bregir replied to Keymonus's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
I like what you've done with the elevation, effective even at this low gradient, and the addition of water in the dig is an excellent detail. Nice campsite too!- 9 replies

I like what you've done with the sails, despite your limitations building digitally. The hull is very nice and the colours are funky. Nice use of curved pieces along the bows too!

I like the use of colour, plates and tiles in the landscape, and any redcoat column has my heart beating faster! A for GoH from me as well!

Loads of activity around the build. I really think it conveys the atmosphere of a settlement with a large number of troops amassing. And good to see some of our finest.officers in charge of the situation! -

Fletcher has returned. https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/191516-cor-fb-a-rear-admiral-to-the-front-line/ -
With the Royal Navy heavily engaged with Lotus forces in the far east, Rear-admiral Fletcher has taken ship to Spudkirk. Here he will raise his flag in theheavy frigate the HMS Legion, and take command of a squadron designated to hunt down Lotii forces and defend Corlander and allied shipping.

Welcome aboard, Commander Palmer! The navy can always use new officers. As others have said, creating a new topic with a few pictures (embedded as explained by Ayrlego and Evan) and a story introducing your character is the best way to get started. It doesn't have to be more than a few details introducing the character. Perhaps this thread can give you some ideas: Your vessels are looking promising too! You could decide for another character to take the new title. We can make it work for Mesabi too - the first "counting" was definitely a political (and controversial) affair Also, I corrected your spelling
