  1. For the past twenty minutes or so EB wouldn't load or refresh. I got no error pages or messages, it just wouldn't load. Seems like it's working now, though!
  2. Here's a sneak peek to go with the story of my next free build: Now, a couple disclaimers: -That's NOT part of what I'm building, it's something small I built to go with the story I'm writing for the free build. -Those aren't necessarily Drow, but they might be. I'm not sure yet.
  3. I'll be ready to fight for our Nocturnian brothers! The Drow are pests that must be exterminated! They don't know what they've got coming for them. Good to hear GoH has no ending. I'm wondering if Challenge 4 has to do with the Drow...
  4. Sweet! I'll need a few of these. I'd like more swimsuits, and shirtless torsos. And, I'm a bit short on food pieces, so bananas and chicken=! Large palm leaves, surf boards, more pieces I want! The parrot is a great detail too. And, trans-orange studs! I ALWAYS need more studs! (That was a completely serious statement, I'm way too low on those.) All in all, great set!
  5. Yeah, maybe I shouldn't have killed them ALL... I was trying to find a way to create sea snakes that wasn't commonly used, so that's what I came up with. I'm fairly pleased with it.
  6. Thanks! Spidey looks better on the box... But I don't think I'll be buying this. We'll see, maybe I will if it's a good parts/pieces ratio. That thing in the corner with the fan on top, are it's panels white or blue?
  7. Thanks. I was actually going for Beautiful Death but that's close enough. Now to try and build something bigger, or at least more impressive.
  8. Thanks for taking the time to do that! Now to go get me some Ninja-music...
  9. Thanks, larger brick planned for the next update. Oh, I guess I just misunderstood you. Yep, I'll keep you guys updated! 3rd version'll be ready soon.
  10. Thanks a lot! I put a fair bit of effort into my writing. I live NOWHERE near a Lego store, but I'm planning to order some pieces online soon, and I'm hoping to visit a Lego store on summer vacation.
  11. Ok, thanks Sci! I'll update the back soon. Yes, never. But I'm likely going to either the Calgary or Toronto store this summer. Man, a Lego store in Manitoba would be sweet!
  12. Makes you wonder how he really became a millionaire in the first place.
  13. Thanks johnny! I've never been to a Lego store either... Could someone who has seen the back describe it to me, please?
  14. Thanks! I'm SERIOUSLY lacking in pieces and I think it's starting to show...
  15. Here's version 2.0! Front: Back: C&C welcome and wanted!
  16. CD stores...those still exist?!?!?!
  17. Happy birthday, Mr. Admiral Cam, SIR!
  18. I posted my first mini-build, Bellemort Battle. You French-speakers might get a kick outta the name.
  19. "As I stood, waist-deep in water, I already regretted my decision. Why had I chose to hunt down Bellemort?" Bellemort was a beautiful Mermaid, many a legend had been told about her. One night in a Kaliphlin pub, word of her made it's way to my ears. As the legend goes, Bellemort used her charm and looks to drag in many a man, before ruthlessly killing him. She would turn his very flesh and blood into gold, and keep the treasures in a chest on her small island. I wouldn't stand for that. I asked around, and before I knew it, I had a map leading me to her island. The only catch: I had no boat. But I was determined, and so I swam. Yes, swam, with map and sword, just to slay the evil Mermaid. "Bellemort!" I shouted. "Your reign over this isle, and ruthless murdering, ends now." "Stuuupid, but brave you are, young man." She said. "Handsome, too." Bellemort was indeed beautiful, her skin changing colour on every section of her body. Green tail, human-like body, and a face, a shade of green as well. She had flowing chestnut hair, streaked with gray. Add her charm with words to that, and I could see how she'd attracted so many. "Come down, and have an honourable death," I told her. "Or I'll have to come up and slay you!" "You really thought it was that easssy?" She asked. "Your hannnndsome body will make the finest of gold." Her body melted into an ugly shade of gray. Suddenly, three sea serpents burst out of the water. So that was how she killed so many brave men! I wasn't giving up, though. I came for a fight, and by the King, I'd give it. "This hideous form you take now," I taunted, "Reflects your heart and soul very well." "KEEEEL HIM!" She screeched. Her charming voice had turned into a horrible sound, not unlike a dying feline. I leaped onto the rocks, and with a quick thrust, slayed the first beast. The second was a fighter. It's fangs plunged into my arm. I could feel the poison coursing through me. It's effects made me feel so heavy. I blindly swung, and felt my sword plunge into the flesh of the serpent. Finally, the third. The previous serpent's poison was slowing me, but I prepared to fight this one more beast. It slipped in and out of my view. I could see it rear back it's head, about to attack, and I took my chance. I wildly leaped out, and stabbed it right on the back of it's neck, where there was very few scales. I jumped away as the last monster fell. I still hadn't done what I came for, though. With a drowsy step, I scaled a rock and cleanly took of Bellemort's head. She was strangely quiet as she fell, but I did hear her say, "Prepare for hell, Nariek. Your time is coming." I did not waste breath replying to a dying soul, and instead examined the treasures. Gold dishes, coins, swords, all kinds of valuables! Now all I needed was a way to get off of this island...
  20. Personally, I just call them "Lego", and I can't stand hearing "Legos". To add to your list, all sorts of airtight containers are referred to as Tupperwares.
  21. I hate to double post, but could a mod please change the title to "WIP Decal: Lego store employee"? Thanks. I ask because I'll be looking for more suggestions after I revise it.
  22. Well, your version bests mine by a long shot! It's really inspired me to revise mine though, so expect to see a new version soon!
  23. Great idea! I'll do that too! That makes perfect sense, and I'll put your advice to good use in my revision.
  24. Thanks guys. Yeah, it looked small in a reference pic, but I guess I made it TOO small. And I just realized the red rectangle is supposed to be a brick! I've never been to a Lego store before so I didn't know that. Expect a revised version soon!
  25. Thanks! Also, I just realized how old this thread was. Sorry about that!
