  1. I doubt that the figs will be visual through the bags. It goes against all of the CMF series made so far. These are great! I hope I can get my hands on some of them. Perhaps EB needs an Olympic CMF contest?
  2. Not bad, not bad at all. I like that you included a stop motion! Maybe you could add a few more frames to the video though, just so it goes smoother.
  3. Well. I'm kinda dissapointed that it's a fake, but not that much. The only reason I wanted it was to give to my brother as a B-day present. Oh well.
  4. Well with my Lego store shopping bags...oh wait, I've never been to a Lego store! I haven't been in a city with a Lego store since my dark ages. The closest one to me is at LEAST a two and a half hour drive! Maybe someday I'll go, I hope. I might be going to Toronto this summer so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Judging from descriptions of the bags, I'd probably use them to store junk or transport clothes/junk when I'm on a trip. Or I'd showcase them with my trophies just because they're from a Lego store!
  5. It's always interesting to see topics/posts like this, because I'm a Canadian. In Canada we can get sharpies just about everywhere! A quick 5 minute drive and I could have TONS of yellow sharpies! But, it's not worth it, because the UK gets all the awesome polybags and promo sets. Oh well.
  6. Woah. These are awesome! I love the kunai, throwing stars, compound bow, and arrow attachments! They're perfect! Great new products.
  7. There were so many completely awesome entries, but these 5 were my favourites. 31) rogueang: 1 point 18) MikeyB: 1 point 11) Cara: 1 point 7) zcerburus: 1 point 4) Erynlasqalen: 1 point Good job everybody! Now I really do need to get working on a free build...
  8. I have a question. Do the minifigs for the contest have to be flesh-toned, as per the licensed theme standard? Or can they be yellow minifigs? I'm not positive which skin colour I'll use yet, but I thought I'd ask. Thanks.
  9. Nice! Is that a decal on his face, or an official head? If it's a decal or paint, it's awesomely done and applied. I believe you need a few more things to enter the contest though. A cost estimate, and pictures of the side and back of the minifig. Good job, and good luck!
  10. Hope you had an awesome day, Shadows! Guess I'll be remembered then.
  11. Happy birthday! Hope it was great.
  12. That's an interesting idea... I think it won't get made as it is because it's just a "figure pack", and only Hasbro can do that. But perhaps if they included a lot of SW-orientated bricks in a bucket with instructions for SW models, and threw in some minifigs, then maybe a Star Wars bucket'll be made.
  13. Offline for a week??? I can barely catch up on everything after a DAY! Great modular, everything about it is just fantastic! I can't even imagine what the police station will be like, if this is any indication of your building skills.
  14. Wow... I didn't know there were pieces that rare until now! I knew some pieces were more or less common than others, but these are crazy! I love the Maersk boat, and that town for $6.95 was such a deal, I'm jealous of everyone who bought it.
  15. Thanks, glad you like it! Thanks! It's an iPhone 3G. I can't wait to see your pics. Yep, it's definitely my favourite too! I love that hairpiece. Thanks for that. I wasn't sure where to put it.
  16. I was bored so I took my sig-fig outside to take some pictures (of course I gave him a backpack, what kind of adventure would it be without a backpack?). The photo quality is alright, because the light outside is amazing, but my phone's camera is horrible. Anyway here they are: In the "tall" grass. What's this brightly coloured flower? Here's a rocky landscape. Now the ground's getting more level. One last shot:
  17. WOW! We've got some amazing entries. Congratulations and good luck to everyone! I'm working on a simple free build, should be posted sometime next week.
  18. Very nice! I agree with ISC, the story is VERY intriguing! I love all the different scenes you built. Great work.
  19. If I were you I'd really take the time to stop and read it. The story is AWESOME! Fantastically written! And it's not that long compared to many GoH stories. Seriously, READ IT! You won't regret it.
  20. If I could make a suggestion...perhaps tile over all the studded parts. Space Marines vehicles seem to me like they should be sleek, and the studs showing loses a bit of that for me.
  21. Yes, but JackJonespaw was asking about spelling the plural of Toys R Us. TRUes? Toys R Us's? TRU's? Maybe just say "I went to two Toys R Us stores".
  22. Well, I like this project so much I decided to make some LDD MOCs for the theme. Here's the first one.
  23. Wait wait wait...what video?
  24. I was looking at the Space Marines CUUSOO project again, and I decided to create some kind of ship for one of them to pilot. This is what I came up with. It's more of a scout ship than anything, because it has no weapons. As you can see, it's got four small engines on the bottom and a big one on top. I like the detail of these dark grey sloped/arched pieces on the back: I'm planning to make more Space Marines vehicles, so stay tuned. Hope you enjoyed, C&C welcome!
  25. Maybe they could be making it more "realistic", as a sort of test run. What I mean is, we've had a lot of action/conflict themes and we've still got Ninjago, so maybe TLG will try a more realistic idea.
