  1. Oops, and I think I know why too. I'll try to fix it. EDIT: I fixed the picture.
  2. I would DEFINITELY buy black, tan, and brown baseplates.
  3. Oops, sorry for not mentioning that. It was a driver error.
  4. Sweet hot rod. I'd love to have that in my Lego collection. I might have to show this to my uncle, he'd love to see that kind of car. Perhaps I can create an AFOL of him...? Anyway, great job.
  5. Happened to me again, from 15 minutes ago til right now.
  6. Really nice. I like the backgrounds you did for Heaven and Hell. This seriously inspired me to build something, off to LDD to design!
  7. Woah. Seriously, woah. That's a crazy dragon! I love the spine and tail most. And the giant rock formation with the ring of fire just adds that much more to the MOC.
  8. Please, nobody bite my head off for this opinion. Am I the only one who'll be buying LOTR sets as medieval parts packs? Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of the books and movies. But I'd spend way too much if I were to get into LOTR Lego, and the minifigs just aren't that spectacular to me anymore. (Except the orcs). So they'll be part packs, and the orcs will make great enemies for castle MOCs. Anybody else feel the same way?
  9. Hi! Could I join the Kaliphlin Guild? Nariek Francis Nariek Francis is a musically gifted traveller. He is the second-born of four children, and recently set out to find his way in the world. Nariek is known for making money with his performances on many different instruments. He plans to become a sword fighter and archer as well. He's out to find adventure, and will be a loyal servant to the Kaliphlin Guild. EDIT: I'll make Nariek my avatar as soon as I have time.
  10. Really great bookshop! This is one of those MOCs that makes me wish I could shrink down to the size of a minifig, just to explore the MOC!

    New Town

Nice hospital! It reminds me of the new Town Hall modular except for colour, and height.
  12. The Hawkeye and Thor polybags will be must-haves!
  13. I like the looks of those mining sets! Nice that it's not more police. I'll probably spend too much this year though, with these, and Monster Fighters. Really a shame about that doctor's printing. I won't be buying the hospital. Sorry LEGO, but there's too much wrong with it. The garage though, looks awesome! Four vehicles, all looking great! And one's a VW!
  14. Looks like I might FINALLY get around to creating my first modular! We'll see how my parts collection holds up, though. Is there a limit on how tall/short the modular has to be?
  15. Dang! I was about to comment, 10 minutes before you posted that! Missed my chance for a minifig. Oh well. It doesn't bother me, I'm not greedy. I was going to ask for you to keep us up to date with your customization adventure, and share my thoughts on the matter. Waterside decals can range from looking poor to flawless. But I don't particularly love the risk of making a bad decal. So, I'd love to get my designs printed straight onto the minifig with a machine. It's expensive at the moment, but (as you said), it wouldn't be that hard to make your money back. Also, the design is more likely to withstand playing and roughness if it's printed on. I hope someday I'll buy something to print straight onto the fig. Maybe it'll get cheaper in the future. Well, best of luck with whatever you decide to do! I'm sure it'll work out great.
  16. When I was a kid my two brothers were really into Bionicle. I never really loved it, I always preferred sets with minifigs! I LOVE MINIFIGS! Anyway, for my younger brother, my dad hung up a Bionicle set. Here's how he did it: You could easily do this with any SW set.
  17. I fixed a bit of spelling for you. Now, SERIES 8??? I'm assuming you meant Series 7?!
  18. Great idea, we should do it! When you say "community vote to pick a theme", do you mean a licensed theme (please, no), or a theme that Lego could produce without a license? I really prefer the latter. For example, the vote could be: Sci-Fi City Western Medieval Trains Action (Military?) A community Cuusoo project would be sweet!
  19. Very nice, although my favourite of your two Series 7 vigs has to be the computer programmer. Can't wait for the next one! YOU'RE MAKING ME JEALOUS, I want some Series 7 minifigs!
  20. Wow! That sounds great, I'm really interested. A few questions: 1. Does MBA ship outside of the USA? I remember a while ago it wasn't, but is it available in Canada now? 2. Do you need to get Levels 1 and 2 to buy Level 3? Because Level 3 is the only one that interests me so far.
  21. I wouldn't buy the model as it is right now. But, Lego will obviously make some changes to it if they release it, so we'll have to see.
  22. Oh...you're so lucky!! I'm drooling over here! Seriously, those guitars! I want them so badly! And even more important, I SEE BAGPIPES! I'm gonna buy so many bagpipers when they're over here in Manitoba.
  23. Mail it to me. I can take it off your hands!
  24. That's kinda true, but it's also kinda not. Duplo is compatible with System bricks, so it's more or less just a branch of the same product.
