Thanks to the latest LDD update, I was able to complete two of the 2012 Hero Factory villains. 6201 - Toxic Reapa - Theme: Hero Factory LXF File EDIT - Error: I couldn't bi-color the hoses, so I colored them Lime Green. 6216 - Jawblade - Theme: Hero Factory LXF File -Toa Of Justice

LDD 4.3.5 bugs
Toa_Of_Justice replied to Superkalle's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
I have several suggestions: End the process from Task Manager, then try restarting LDD. Uninstall LDD, download a fresh copy of the software from http://ldd.lego.com, then install it. If all else fails, contact LEGO Customer Service. -Toa Of Justice -
[KEY TOPIC] LDD custom bricks
Toa_Of_Justice replied to Zerobricks's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
As requested in this post... 40245c00 - Animal 3-headed Dog Complete Assembly Original (thumbnail borrowed from Peeron and resized by me) My custom version (based off my rendering of the wolf in set 7015) LXF File As in my rendering of the wolf, the ears are not actually attached, but everything is grouped together so Fluffy can be picked up and moved around as one unit. In addition, my custom part seems to be much more poseable than the original part, but the jaws don't open and close. -Toa Of Justice -
LDD 4.3.5 bugs

Original post (with LXF file) -Toa Of Justice -
7015 - Viking Warrior challenges the Fenris Wolf - Theme: Vikings LXF File Errors: On the minifigure, I found prints that were similar to the originals. (I could have sworn the correct face print was available in a previous version of LDD though!) Since color 132 (Speckle Black-Silver) doesn't render correctly in LDD, I instead colored those parts 148 Metallic Dark Grey. Part 45275 (Bionicle Weapon 5 x 5 Shield with Saw Blade Studded) has been replaced with a brick-built approximation. The 1/2 pin was placed on the spear as close as possible to its correct position. Part 32174 (Technic, Axle Connector 2 x 3 with Ball Socket, Open Sides) has been replaced with part 93571 (Technic, Axle Connector 2 x 3 with Ball Socket, Open Lower Axle Holes). I had to attach the wolf's ears via scaffolding--they wouldn't attach naturally. Part 32310 won't attach to the wolf in the correct place. -Toa Of Justice

I am using LDD Extended. All of the parts described above are available in that mode in any color you want. The cannon's Design ID is 57796 (under the "axle/pin combo" icon), all of the coins are available under the "fancy sign" icon (between the Hero Factory "shell element" icon and the "airplane rudder" icon; you can search for "coin" [type 1; no quotes] and "mont" [type 3; no quotes] to find them), and the segmented rope has Design ID 63141. If you're working on an MOC with gold ingots, may I suggest using 96910? It looks very much like a realistic gold ingot, and it connects like a 1x2 tile. -Toa Of Justice

Is part 73092 what you're looking for? In addition to that piece, 2920 and two compatible train buffers are available in LDD. The magnet and holder are available under the "hose reel" icon, while the buffers are under the "train track" icon. Part 4211 is already available in LDD. It is available under the "plate with clip" icon. You can use the "Export BOM" (Bill of Materials) command in the File menu, or just press Ctrl+B while in LDD. Specify a file name and location, and then press "Save" to create a Microsoft Excel 2007 (.xlsx) file (or a .zip file, but I personally recommend .xlsx since it's easier to work with) with the list of parts. Then, you can go to Pick A Brick and order the pieces. I hope that helps. -Toa Of Justice

LDD 4.3.5 bugs

I've been considering upgrading my monitor from 1280x1024 to 1920x1080, but seeing all the widescreen issues in this thread is making me think twice. Has anyone encountered issues with the UI running LDD in 1920x1080? LDD's basic mode seems to cut off decoration palettes on my current display, but not in Extended mode (where the palettes seem to be a little smaller). -Toa Of Justice -

[KEY TOPIC] LDD custom bricks
Toa_Of_Justice replied to Zerobricks's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
In response to this post in the Most Wanted Bricks thread, I made 30184, Vehicle, Trailer Base 6 x 26 x 2 2/3. LXF File I hope this part works well for everyone. If not, please let me know and I'll see if I can fix it. -Toa Of Justice -
This is a 21st-century re-imagining of the wooden ducks LEGO used to make. I made this model in honor of their 80th anniversary in 2012. Click any image to enlarge it. There are front and rear winches, so this duck can either pull itself out of trouble or be pulled by another vehicle! The propellers and keel hinge down for water travel... ...and the doors/wings hinge down for flight! LXF File - Brickshelf Gallery Thanks for looking! -Toa Of Justice EDIT: Credit to Brickset and LEGO for the image of this LEGO set used in the banner.

This is a very realistic railway station! I like all the textures and details, as well as the vehicles! -Toa Of Justice

6615 - Eagle Stunt Flyer - Theme: Town LXF File Errors: 2399 has been replaced with 50373. 4265b has been replaced with 32123. Prints have been substituted. Stickers are missing. Exhaust pipes have been colored Metalized Silver rather than Chrome Silver (which didn't render correctly in LDD) -Toa Of Justice

Here are my top 5 animals: 1. Panda 2. Turtle 3. Crane 4. Penguin* 5. Duck* * I realize that LEGO made brick-built versions of these animals before, but neither had the ability to fully attach to a baseplate (especially the duck). -Toa Of Justice

2012 LEGO CREATOR Rumours and Discussion
Toa_Of_Justice replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
4th model instructions for 7291 Street Rebel have been revealed via the LEGO Club! Enter the code "REBEL" here, or download the PDF. I mentioned two other 4th models in this post. -Toa Of Justice -
Speaking of absent wheel and tire elements, there are no street/racing tires that fit on 44772 (Wheel 56mm D. x 34mm Technic Racing Medium) in LDD--only off-road tires. Therefore, I wish for: 44771 Tire 68.8 x 36 ZR 56907 (x1825) Tire 81.6 x 36 R Technic Straight Tread In addition, there are no tires at all that fit 2903 (Wheel 81.6 x 15 Motorcycle), so I want: 6596 Tire 81.6 x 14.2 Motorcycle Z Racing Tread 2902 Tire 81.6 x 15 Motorcycle While not absolutely necessary, this classic wheel and tire pair would also be nice to see in LDD: 2998 Wheel 81.6 x 34 Six Spoke 2997 Tire 81.6 x 34 ZR Technic Straight Tread -Toa Of Justice

Thanks again for the comments, everyone! I just fixed the entire model, including her legs. (See the new version below these responses.) Those sound like great ideas for a real-life version! Thank you! It is a little wide, yes. But I had to make it that wide in order to accommodate all the details. And now, here's Daniela 2.0! After taking some reference screenshots from Rise of the Rookies, I realized that her legs are far more complex than I previously imagined. Click the pictures to enlarge them. I realize this upgrade makes her taller than Fire Lord. That could lead to a funny situation... And of course, the interior shots, again between spoiler tags in case anyone were to question their decency.
