  1. Great review ISC! I loved the "Codys" at the end! Like WhitFang, I give it a For a Brickmaster exclusive, I think this is a great set. I especially like the color scheme used and the design for the mudguards is fantastic. You certainly have plenty of sunshine where you are. I guess it is just about Australian summer isn't it?
  2. Thanks for the great review The Brickster! This is a very nice small set for a good price for all of the things you get and that chrome breastplate is lovely! Nice work on all of the Halloween reviews.
  3. This is actually often said in books and the like so I don't think it's a problem. Sorry Zorro, I just feel like picking on you a bit.
  4. Cpt. Jr, to deeplink your photos, go to the website where the pictures are hosted, click on the image until you can't anymore and copy the web address. Then, in the post window, click on the small image of a sunset above the post window and paste the address in there. Hope this helps! I've never seen a LEGO basket, but that certainly doesn't mean it does not exist. LEGO crates (and buckets for Sinner) I know exist.
  5. This is a great entry Talon Karrde! Your SNOT work is superb and it's very nice how you made the sloping rocks. The use of those fence pieces as a ladder is very clever as well. 1 or 2 minor improvements you could make are: 1) I really would like to see some more pictures in the post, as you can have up to six and I feel this would give a better impression of your nice entry. 2) Where the water meets the sand, instead of having a solid white layer, interspersing white with blue plates with give it a more random and thus, natural feel. That said, I really do love your entry, as it combines nice SNOT with good design and a bit of humor mixed in. Great work!
  6. I think I'll just wait to start with my builds until we figure out the exact specifications, as that gives me a general idea of how it should look. Is this alright with everyone? I apologize for not adding too much input on the design, but unfortunately I'm not a castle design expert and I think it would be wise of me to let the pros show me how it's done. Of course if I ever do come out with a great idea, I'll be sure to share it!
  7. Thanks Thrash! I'll enter it in right away!
  8. I would like to do this as well, but could you tell me how?
  9. Welcome to Eurobricks Kris Kelvin! I really loved your barracks MOC and hope to see more great MOCs posted here from you in the future!
  10. Yes, the Dwarves' Mine was a Target exclusive last year before it was widely released this year. I personally hope that the King's Castle Siege will go on sale, as I've always liked it but not enough to spend $100 on it. My Target doesn't even have the MTT anymore.
  11. As of today, no sign of it at my SuperTarget. No sign of the other Target exclusives such as the Agents and City ones either.
  12. One question, do we have to keep our modules together once we have posted them? Because I don't have a gigantic amount of light grey bricks and I may need to recycle them between MOCs.
  13. I don't like them for these reasons: 1) I'm really not a big action figure fan. 2) To me the main appeal of LEGO bricks is that you can combine them in so many different ways to make so many different things. With Bionicle, all you can make for the most part are other Bionicle-like creations. However, this is just my opinion.
  14. Do you mind if I add the bakery to my list? If not, that's fine.
  15. That's a really nice entry Pe668! I love the pirate lowering the little chain to pick up the treasure! The wave in the ocean looks great as well. A few improvements you could make are: 1) I think putting yellow tiles on the sand would look great. 2) In the cave, adding some treasure all around the floor would really make it feel like a... well... cave full of treasure! 3) Putting a spider or some leaves on the rock wall would provide good contrast to the grey. You've done really well with your entry and I wish you good luck in the contest!
  16. No, a set can be reviewed more than once, but it's always better if it hasn't yet.
  17. He just said that he wanted a dark blue lightsaber blade, not that he saw one. I'm glad to see that Yoda doesn't seem to be ultra-animated looking. The AAT looks amazing to me.
  18. A hearty welcome to Eurobricks Nannan! It's good to see you finally joined and I look forward to seeing your MOCs posted here!
  19. I may not have it built for a little while as I am still working hard on my PtV entry and I might need to order some more bley bricks, but I'll make it in the end!
  20. The way he has made it look like real bricks were used is amazing and I love all the little details. Nice find Bonaparte!
  21. Great review! That's a very nice present to get. This is really a stunning set isn't it? It looks so clean and smooth and I think it's very interesting to see all of those SNOT techniques used. Although it may be tiresome to put in all of those 1 x 1s, the end result is spectacular! I think it would be lovely if you'd join the Reviewers' Academy because your review is already so good that with a little practice, you would be amazing at set reviews!
  22. Alright ISC, you can put me down for the joke shop and the kitchen. I agree with adam that we should cross taken rooms off the list. Let's get it started!
  23. O.k., Dragonator, you can put me down for the Kitchen first and whenever I finish that, I'd be interested in the Joke Shop.\ Or I could do the other way around if that suits everyone better.
  24. Nice idea for an entry, as it's very creative! Your SNOT water with the interspersed white plates for waves looks very nice and so does the sand. A few improvements you could make are: 1) One really easy thing to fix up and make it look a lot better, would be to add a blue tile where the studs are showing at the end of the water. 2) The underwater cave is a great idea, but I think a little more detail could be added to give it more excitement. It's a bit hard to understand what happened to that pirate, so putting some things in to explain that would help a lot. 3) The top of the MOC is a little boring. I think adding a bit more sand and less water, and then putting an imperial soldier on the sand with a gun would be nice. Great work though! You've made a very creative entry!
  25. Pickerel, the colors are light grey or bley for the main part with dark grey or dark bley details, as seen in ISC's example. Dragonator, I'm not too interested in most of the back buildings, but I would like to try the Jester's Joke Shop and the kitchen. Perhaps we should start on the left side?
