  1. I personally love the wall! It really captures the inn/tavern look you were going for. The color choice is nice as well. A few improvements you could make are: 1) The water doesn't look too great at the moment. I think it would look much better without the dark blue. Just plain blue would probably be much better. 2) I'm not a huge fan of the blood you have on the arm. I think if you want to keep the bloody arm, you should make the hand red as well and add some small red pieces around the arm on the ground. Other than that, great entry! I think you have a good chance!
  2. Greetings! I come here with the solemn news that my sig-fig has gone to the dark side...
  3. That's really stunning Dragonator! I love the stained glass on the back and all of the little details you have included. The SNOT river with that great bridge is another personal favorite of mine. All of the landscaping is wonderful as well. I hope to see more of your lovely creations in the future!
  4. Nice review Jones! This is a really nice promo set. I especially love those slanted windows, they add a lot to the set. It's kind of a funny design though, because it looks like a roof on ground level... Thanks for the review!
  5. Great work Pe668! The spider adds a lot. This is one of my favorite small entries to this point!
  6. The addition of more birds (and lovely ones at that) just makes this entry all the better. Smashing work Fat Tony!
  7. I just finished sorting my bricks this summer. Here's a picture of how mine are sorted. I have them sorted both by color and by piece type and stored in these containers with pull-out drawers which I labeled. Sets are in labeled plastic bags with the set's name and number on the front. Instructions are placed in a folder with labels for each theme. Here's a close-up of the drawers. I wish you good luck with your sorting! It's worth all of the hard work, trust me!
  8. Personally I think they look more like Duplo if anything, but I still love them! They are not any worse than the horses which are perfectly fine. I am so excited about this set! All of the great new figures and pieces, plus lot of animals, both brick-built and single-piece.
  9. Normally the price for shipping starts at around $7. I feel they should give you free shipping if you order over a certain amount of money, as many other online shops do.
  10. She also came in the 7093 Skeleton Tower set. I look forward to seeing your new and improved entry JimButcher!
  11. That sounds like a very good plan to me. It will be nice and organized to have teams set up that way. And I love the idea of locking Hinckley up for a month to build it!
  12. It was close for me between ISC's and Thrash's, but in the end I decided on Thrash's, mainly because I like the slightly irregular shape of it and I find it very easy to understand.
  13. That is even better! Really nice work listening to our feedback and making your entry fantastic!
  14. You have made a wonderful tutorial Nyundi! This is a really good idea and I didn't realize how well Photoshop would work for this. Your mosaic turned out very well, but you had to choose Hinckley as a subject?! Nice work!
  15. Nice entry LegoKing! You have many nice elements in your MOC that, when refined a bit, can combine to make a fantastic MOC! Here are a few improvements you could make: 1) It's a bit hard to distinguish the sand from the water, as they are on the same level. I would recommend having the sand a brick or so higher than the water for a good contrast. You could perhaps add yellow slopes where you want the sand to start and build from there, like you did where the tree is. 2) I can't say I'm too fond of your tree, because it has so many different plant parts in it. I think it would look better to have just one sort of leaf. 3) The buried head is a great idea, but might look better if you had some 1 x 1 plates stacked around it, to give it more of a buried look. I'm not sure how this would look though, as it might seem a bit unnatural. 4) Your little fort is very nice, but would look even better with some grey tiles on the top for a smoother look. 5) The head floating in the water seems too cheerful with that big smile on his face. I would maybe use a more angry/gruesome head. You have the makings of a great entry that could turn out even better with a few improvements. Nice work and good luck in the contest!
  16. I certainly don't think it's too crowded right now. I agree with Cameron Talley that it wouldn't be a bad idea to remove the flying bomb altogether and I like your idea of making some sort of a sign. Keep us posted!
  17. That list looks quite nice! But I'll have to look up what some of those are. I agree that we might want to scale it down slightly so it won't become too difficult to fill.
  18. Well, next year we are getting new clone battle packs, so that should help you. But I agree that we should have gotten more in the actual sets.
  19. Don't worry about it. That's why I used the . I never like S@H shipping prices either....
  20. Now we're getting somewhere! I really like Thrash's design but I'm wondering what else we can make to fill up all of those spaces, since there are 34 of them.
  21. That's awesome! Now, to brush up on my minifig anatomy.
  22. Adam, I think only the legs probably wouldn't fit in the cannon, as they are quite a bit wider than the minifig head.
  23. While I liked your previous entry, this one is far better! It's much more gruesome, but still retains the nice SNOT design. The way you made some heads skeletons to show decay is wonderful and I love the "collection container". Great improvement Rook!
  24. I really like that layout Thrash! It's easy to understand and a good size I think.
  25. Happy birthday to you! Congrats Governor Broadside on hitting the century mark!
