So it doesn't matter what section of the castle we pick to build? Also, what are the standards for the interior parts? A few things a may be interested in building are: Blacksmith Kitchen Tavern Jester's Joke Shop Erdbeereis1 -

Good work ISC! One thing I would recommend to do is to change the font color of the teams lists. They are a bit hard on the eyes. -
Great find Lego-freak and Christian! The set looks great! I'm loving the new torsos and heads and the cars are really well-designed also. Great news!

I kind of doubt we will get pics until early next year. Usually blurry pics seem to come around January and final versions come out at the New York Toy Fair in February.

Welcome to Eurobricks Kamil! I look forward to seeing your posts and I'm sure you'll love it here!

I loved that skit! On topic, this is a great MOC. The piece use for the hair is really creative.

Noggin. He then took a bottle and filled it with the man's....

Yes, this is not meant to be political at all. Just a way to use Brickarms. In case you're wondering what dish he's making, I think it's creme brulee... Pr0visorak, it's just a regular white LEGO rubber band.

Very nice work as usual Sir Nadroj! I really like the white sand idea, as it's very original. Your tree is also great especially the nice trunk. One improvement you could possibly make would be: I think it would look good to have a little bit of blood under the soldier for some extra gore, but it's really not too improtant. Great entry!

Much, much better JimButcher! The stand and bench add a lot to the scene. Good work!

Very nice entry General A! It really has a pillaged village feel to it if you know what I mean. Your castle/fortress at the back is great and I love the little marketplace. The cannonball smashing the wall is amazing! My favorite part though has to be the general cowering behind the wall. A few improvements you could make are: 1) Tiling some areas such as the water, the top of the fort and some of the streets would add a lot to your MOC. 2) A bit more blood could be added around the dead bodies for the bloodthirsty members we have here. 3) I think replacing the trans-blue round piece on the pirate's head on the ship with a clear one would look much better. 4) Adding something like a statue or fountain to the middle of the village would look amazing I think. You've done really well with your entry and I think with a bit of fine-tuning, it could be in for the prizes! Great work!

Great plan Thrash! I would certainly like to try these things for starters, but I'm willing to do whatever you need me to. Blacksmith Some things in the Courtyard I just had one question. On the sides of each smaller module such as the blacksmith, are we supposed to add walls on 3 sides, or just the outer one? I think we should make an example module to show the specifics of the catwalk, height and the like. -

It's squirm time! I'm very excited for this. It seems more official now that we sort of have a basic layout. -
Power Miners: New Sets for 2009

I'll probably just get one or two of the smaller ones for the minifigs and rock monsters, but that's about it. I'm not too excited about these... -
Only Moderators have the power to change thread names, so you'll have to P.M. one of them, or hope that one of them sees this post.

That's really great Guss! All of your small buildings look very nice and the spreading flames look great. You have also made a great little story to go along with your MOC. I greatly enjoyed seeing myself getting smashed by a rifle butt! The only thing I can think to improve at the moment is: In some parts where the water meets the shore, you have the white plates built sideways with the blue bricks. I think this look great, but I'm not a big fan of the sections where you have upside down blue and white plates resting on top of the water. I think it would look much better if you would build all of them sideways. Besides that minor point, you have made a spectacular entry! Very good work!

That's hilarious! They would never allow anyone to show a commercial like that here in the U.S. though... They would think it's too negative towards children. Thanks for posting!

Happy birthday to all of you! Hope you have (had) a great day filled with happiness! -
The head is from the new Agents Gold hunt set. It should appear in next year's new Pirate sets as well. Your plans for the MOC sound good to me Adam!

Who is this Mustafa you speak of!? It's a Brickarms RPG. I have to say that Brickarms products are really great and I highly recommend them!

The castle design poll seems to have slowed down a lot. Should we plan to use Thrash's design? Or give it one more day or so? -
Very good entry Rook! Your ship's hull looks amazing and the "booty" on the mast is a nice touch. I also like your cannons a lot. Are they brick-built? Personally, I like the multicolored tiles as I feel it gives a nice cobblestone look to the ground. A few things you could improve on are: 1) One thing you could do is to add more pictures, so we can see all of the other details of your MOC. You are allowed up to 6 in your post. 2) I think putting some brown or black tiles on the sides of the hull would give it a much smoother look. 3) Making the mast a little more complete would help the MOC become even better. 4) The torsos you have on the pirates right now look more like knights than pirates. I would go for a pirate torso, or if you don't have any, something rough and tough like that. Other than these minor points, you've made a wonderful entry! Nice work!
