Yeah, I'm fine with all dates too Maybe you can add a fourth option as well - All dates suits me fine - or something like that, Ras?

The letter is a correspondence course in "how-to-swim" and Brickgrin is eager to begin the first lesson. Don't worry, the sea is shallow and the ink is waterproof.

Thank you everyone for your nice comments and very useful tips! I've updated my entry with some new pics including many of your suggestions Yeah, I'm having serious problems with my photographing The light just isn't enough this time of the year and my lamps isn't a satisfactory substitute. I just hope people will be able to see and judge my MOC anyway, until I can come up with a good solution to this problem. The rock may be a little uniform but I'm still quite pleased with it and won't change it But I see your point and I usually try to mix my rocks up. I do have something for the other categories too, especially the large one Great suggestions, I've made those changes now. Unfortunately I don't have any old style palm tree pieces but it turned out OK anyway I think. The animals got represented by two parrots, it was difficult to include anything else than birds. 1: It's not Brickbeard, it's his nephew Brickgrin 2: Good suggestion, fixed that! That's a good point, I didn't really reflect on that until you mentioned it. I've got rid of those nasty weapons Thanks again for your help

www.br.dk (danish) www.br-leksaker.se (swedish) I don't think there's a English version.

Forestmen/Dark Forest got my vote. They were perfect sets for landscaping and had great minifigs that are usable as civilians. My second choice would be Wolfpack since they never got a big chance when they were out, only 3 sets. It would be interesting to see how that faction could evolve. Black Falcons, Lion Knights and Black Monarchs are all excellent factions but too me they are dependent of each other to be interesting. A re-release of all three of them together would be great.

Princess Quest Chronicles: Brothers-in-Charms
Etzel replied to Sandy's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Great work as usual, Sandy! A really good story about the two wizard brothers. The rivalry is nicely pictured and the jealousy of Noland is easy to understand. But in the other prequel they seem to have pretty much laid their rivalry aside, at least that's how I understood it. If that's correct I would really like to read something about how the brothers came to peace again before Noland was kidnapped by the Svartalfs. It was nice to learn a bit more about the High Ones in general and about Minerva in particular, she seems like a very ambitious woman with great thirst of power. Better keep an eye on her... Now to discuss the LEGO building in this comic: I really like the courtyard/garden, the statue and the path is very nice and the amount of greenery is well balanced. I also like the library/studyroom, although I'm not so sure on those green flames and lamps. I guess you were going for a "magical" look but I think I would prefer something more realistic in this case. Anyway, thank you for another great story and I'm looking forward to the Queen's Quest later this year! -
Oh no, I told myself NOT to buy more pieces at BrickLink this month but what do I do? Stupid CrackLink...and stupid PTV II contest that is the reason behind my purchase. I will have to live extremely cheap all the time to Christmas now. But I will have some nice flesh Indians to play with

Surprise Find! Not mine: Turku Castle in Lego
Etzel replied to Teddy's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Nice find! It's been 12 years since I was visiting Turku so I don't remember if it was there then. It's a really impressive model, I wish there were more museums/castles that realises that LEGO is the perfect material for making models. -
She doesn't have a printed dress. Sandy's collection is all the printed dresses, not all the princesses

Sounds nice, but I have a really important question: Was it the yellow or the blue ice tray?

Thanks for watching /Etzel EDIT: Changed to Flickr-hosted pictures.

I will probably buy it and then trade/sell the minifigs. The amount of useful parts in nice colours is really good in this set. (I surely won't keep it assembled )

Very nice, Svelte! Although it's hard to fail with the MMV Lovely Christmas feeling Actually, I've been planning this! My LUG (SweLUG) recently made a display in a toy shop and we are planning on replacing it with a more winter-inspired display closer to Christmas. I will try to modify the Green Grocer by adding snow, decorations, etc. I hope to be able to show you the result later. I also think I will try to make a house similar to the Winter Toy Shop to go with it when I've got it.

Isn't LEGO quite expensive in Finland and Estonia? Finland usually has about the same prices as we in Sweden (which is more expensive than e.g. the Netherlands) but I think Estonia has even higher.

'Behind The Helm' Episode #11 - Cap'n Blackmoor
Etzel replied to Captain Zuloo's topic in LEGO Pirates
Nice work! Your interviews are very interesting and well done, I'm looking forward to the next one -
I wonder if these prices are an adjustment of the US prices to the Euro ones, or if the rest of the world will get raised prices too? $10 for 43 pieces does sound very much but if you convert it it's €6.39 which isn't that much higher than e.g. 7236 Police Car (€6.99 for 59 pieces in Germany). But I suppose that won't be the case

Thank you very much for that info ForceMaster Just by looking at the descriptions makes me want to get every set just like Sandy. Can't wait to see some more pictures! 7571 - Fight for the Dagger sound like a great set - 4 minifigs, camel, tower, market and attachable to the 7573

torso on the guy in the small car. A hoodie! And I'm pretty sure that's a new head too. Similar to another but the mouth is different.

I can only agree with the rest, that's a very nice house! A must buy indeed.

I just placed a BrickLink order including these interesting pieces: Duplo Wear Cloth Bear Skin with Neck Opening Minifig, Head with Werewolf Pattern Panel, Decorated 1 x 2 x 2 with X-Ray Skeleton Legs / Machinery Pattern Now I just need to find some way to use these in a MOC (which shouldn't be so hard)!

Well, the 10199 Winter Toy Shop looks really good and would be my favourite set of those you have listed. But I don't see that as a City set (not Emerald Night either) but as an Exclusive. In my opinion it's unfair to include those sets to the poll (because of all the awesomeness in them ). So I voted for 7639 Camper A really nice set, including 2 great minifigs, a bike, a surfboard and a well design RV with nice colour scheme. To be honest it's the only 2009 City set I have.

Some good new minifig heads but the rest?.. no, thanks! BrickLink will save me from buying any of these sets

Both weekends suits me fine but if I should choose one it would be the earlier date.
