  1. He means badges not batches
  2. He was referring to Filip Skywalker's post further back where he posted that the sets will be available in Sweden and Denmark from the 17th of December. No one knows for sure when the rest of the world will get them but the US will probably get them before us
  3. They will not only be sold at Legolands. Regular toy stores will sell them too.
  4. Yeah, they have typed it wrong. It should say
  5. Don't know where you got £5 from but it's not right. The only price we now of is 25 SEK per minifig which is about £2. Probably going to be $2.5-$3 (USD) because of LEGO being cheaper across the pond.
  6. Those minifig collectibles aren't coming out in any sets I guess that's the only Western thing we will get next year. But it's a great minifig that I'll be getting for sure so I'm not that disappointed. Read more about the minifig collectibles here.
  7. They look similar but not that similar. The caveman's hair has bigger tangles and not the parting on the left side that #13 has. And I think the hair and beard is one piece just like Hagrid's. I'm really not worried that these minifigs will be of a lesser quality (besides I don't think the "lesser" quality is that much worse).
  8. Haha Well, let me put it this way: I'm totally sold on the 1,2,3,4,7,8,9,10,11,13,16 but since I don't know what minifig I will get when I buy them I will probably get all of them anyway, even if I'm not going to collect them But I think #6 the diver is not living up to the standard of the rest.
  9. Sweet! I will try to get at least 11 of them I deeplinked the picture: That forestman looks great! Dark brown quiver and bow and lovely torso!
  10. <- I guess I of anyone should have thought of that one!
  11. Of course TLG has asked the kids. They do a h*ll of lot of research and testing amongst kids before deciding a new theme and sets. And I don't like the idea of humans fighting non-humans should be seen as more "acceptable" than humans. vs. humans. Xenophobia, that's what it's called.
  12. You're reading about last years raffle. Take it easy! CopMike will explain all you have to know about the raffle but it doesn't start until the 1st of December so there is plenty of time.
  13. I also don't know why, but I would guess it's some kind of legal issue in North America that demands the piece count to be on the boxes. But I agree, it's weird that we don't have it in the rest of the world and I think it would be a good idea to have. Much easier to check the price per piece value (even if it's not an optimal variable).
  14. This is a pretty small part too.
  15. What weird coloured bricks? Do you mean the dark red octopus in 6240 Kraken Attackin'?
  16. You might want too check out this topic (some posts down) over at SweBrick to see if there's any good deal now during Christmas. For example: Hyperspeed Pursuit is only 479:- at BR Have you seen any 2010 sets in stores in Sweden yet? I haven't
  17. Now it's the right link but... it ends in the middle: CH: (laughs) That is so good. IK: So what process do you use when designing a set? What planning is involved? NG: It really depends on what stage you come into the project, if you are in the project form.... [END] Sorry for being so annoying
  18. I think you have put the wrong link in the post. It's the episode with Teddy.
  19. Yes, the images are hosted on my Flickr (since Brickshelf isn't very reliable anymore) but it's ok, I've got plenty of space. But if you want to, you are free to move them My pleasure to help!
  20. My dad discovered this about 5 years ago and showed me. We have been to a number of caches in different countries but he is much more interested than me. But it's a really fun activity to do together with our old man And with friends too. In high school me and some friends went out and searched for caches but without a GPS. On their site you can roughly see on a map where the cache is hidden so we just used that. A harder, but cheaper, way! Now it's been a long time since I was geocaching but maybe I'll join my dad sometimes.
  21. Well, considering all the reviews that are done these days, with the Academy and all, I think it might be a good idea. And with all the WW sets added, then we could see what sets that are left to review and easily find those we want to read. According to BrickLink there are 21 Western sets, but if you don't count the doublets there are 16. I took myself the liberty to make a suggestion of how the index could be based on the existing indexes: Western (Wild West) Themes Review Index 2845 Indian Chief [NEED REVIEW] 2846 Indian Kayak [NEED REVIEW] 6706 Frontier Patrol TheBrickster 6709 Tribal Chief TheBrickster 6712 Sheriff's Showdown TheBrickster 6716 Covered Wagon TheBrickster 6718 Raindance Ridge TheBrickster 6746 Chief's Tepee TheBrickster 6748 Boulder Cliff Canyon [NEED REVIEW] 6755/6764 Sheriff's Lock-Up TheBrickster Clone O'Patra 6761 Bandit's Secret Hide-Out TheBrickster Part 1, Part 2 6762/6769 Fort Legoredo TheBrickster Part 1, Part 2 6763/6766 Rapid River Village [NEED REVIEW] 6765 Gold City Junction TheBrickster 6790/6091 Bandit's Wheelgun [NEED REVIEW] 6799 Showdown Canyon [NEED REVIEW] Do you think this would do?
  22. OK, I guess I can stop searching for one then EDIT: I searched trough this forum and found that the only WW review that wasn't made by Brickster (and therefore the only one not in any index) is this one: 6755 Sheriff's Lockup by Clone O'Patra
  23. Sorry for bringing up an old topic like this but I have a question. I was looking around in the review indexes here in the Historic Themes section and read through the Castle, Ninja and Viking indexes. But when I tried to find a index for all the Wild West set review I only found this and Brickster's Image Reviews, MOCs, Adventures, and Mysteries . Is there a review index for the Wild West theme that I have missed? I really like the index style that we have for the Castle, Ninja and Viking theme and I think it would be great if we could have one for the Wild West too. Brickster's reviews are awesome but I think it would be nice to have all of the WW reviews together. It would make it easier to find the sets that hasn't been reviewed (and then review them )
  24. Beautiful! This is a really awesome entry ISC! The temple is great and looks very realistic (and the sacrifice of the carrot is hilarious ). Your trees are very impressive and I really envy your collection of foliage. So much details all over, outstanding work! Good luck in the contest!
  25. Great review Svelte! I had already planned getting this set before you posted this outstanding review but it's always nice to know a bit more about the sets you intend to buy. I really like the use of red-brown technic connectors on the masts, looks much more realistic than just a flexi-tube. Looking forward to January!
