  1. IMHO they are perfect for this...so this is what I plan to make after Fastrac...but even to finish it I need one more order..
  2. Wow they look extraordinary; I can hardly await when they will be available to order them
  3. Lets say that today the only God is Juno Moneta
  4. I thought maybee instead of using 5L thick liftarm for outriggers, you can use pair of those if you want to make stabilizers like on 8069 set...but for me it is ok the way you made it...
  5. And if you use two thin liftarms 5 L with axlehole at both end from mini Xerion? Could that help you?
  6. Hm...did you put balast from Liebherr inside?
  7. I know only that Lego Powerfunctions L motors when coupled drive very well...
  8. Perhaps some idea for bodywork you can see here
  9. With tires from Jeep it could end up great. I'll keep an eye on this project.
  10. I use them on my Fastrac prototype powered by coupled XL motors. Motors are upgeared from 40 tooth to 24, and go directly to those yellow diffefentials. I'm also using reduction hubs. Currently it is on standstil waiting for shorter CV joints (from Audi) to ba available to make proper 4 wheel steering. Fastrac will be my only model with those diffs; have 30 old 4L, about 15 gray 3L and 5 ones from Zetros, so lots of things that can be done; and yes 3 red 4L from 42070 (2 of them will be in my Syntrac, but first I have to fix one XL motor; have only 3 operational)
  11. Nice alternative with such limited gears. BTW, upcoming 2024 year could give us next Volvo (2 years pattern); but what; tracked excavator or forest equipment? (All other types of vehicles that are currently on offer are made in cooperation by TLC)
  12. You could be right with 42160 because it has lots of unique parts (if we ignore pu) like wheels, tires new wheel hubs, shorter (stronger) CV joints (the thing that I needed to finaly make Fastrac as I always wanted), panels... My last set was 42095 (if I remember correctly) (but it was some 50€, and over 100€ was 42043) ...42054 was on discont about 100€...
  13. I don't think it is to small for RC...4 motors could be squizzed insided... I also wait for those new tires; they will be perfect for my Unimog (and shorter CV joint for my Fastrac because older CV joint is just to loose and steered wheels get missaligned). Looking forward to see another optimized loader...
  14. I can hardly await to see it in real bricks
  15. Only bars can be used then...a bit complicated indeed; specially if you are perfectionist (and most of us here are perfectionists)
  16. Honestly I can't see images, so I don't know how it looks like now...
  17. I see, and if you use ones with axle holes (4 l) I'm not sure if there are dark blue
  18. Maybee something like that...
  19. Sitting area can be lowered by one plate, but problem is backrest; if you make it one stud smaller it wojld probably look disproportional... if you want to keep axle joiner 3L, then 1 stud smaller axle for HOG is the solution. IMHO major complication are seats...liftarm construction can always be adjusted...(example one stud shorten liftarms that hold a roof...)
  20. It has 10V (which can be done from PC power supply combining 2 power connectors flr hard drive) and I have managed to find appropriate connector for it. Just have to find time one one sunny and dry day; not on typical english weather like today (and last few days)
  21. Perhaps it is a question of gears / gear rack alligment; remember that gear has 12 tooth and not 16, so you have to be carefull when puting in cross axle This makes me problems when I use PF Servo...
  22. Slightest problemem to solve is to replace axle joiner 3 stus long with one 2 studs long... ...seats should be lowered a bit...
  23. How much space is below front hood? Can I see it from side without doors?
