That sounds interesting 42167 Mack LR Electric Garbage Truck - 503 pcs - $34.99 42168 John Deere 9700 Forage Harvester - 559 pcs - $42.99 If true, Mack LR would be made with smaller tires than 49.5 a d Deere would have max. 81mm tractor tires at front and 56 at rear; something like shortened 8274; we will see when the time is right... -

For front suspension ylu can perhaps use those steering arms: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=15459&idColor=86#T=C&C=86 If there is no space for 5 studs; there is this steering hub: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=32495c01&idColor=11#T=C&C=11 Perhaps you can use gears from this set https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemInv.asp?S=42140-1 to replace bevel gears. -
Systems tractors and other machinery

Currently I'm building additional chassis to use 2 PF servos on axles... like your latest model I use XL motor(s - coupled) with upgearing 40 to 24 tooth and new differentials from Ferrari Daytona. At the end there are reduction hubs. I have found out that older 40 tooth to 24 tooth has significantly less friction than 36 to 28 bevels. When I finish this bare chassis as planned, modules with left and right stairs would just be detached from older and attached to new chassis- 625 replies

Extraordinary beautiful MOC I like to see another MOC using PF XL motor for drive. -

@Thirdwigg there will be complications with front chassis part because of battery box below bonnet, but I wanted sturdy model. I'll see if Xerion solution with upside down small linear actuator will be to big, worm gear solution will be used The only thing that causes me a headachse are PF Servo(s); after a while the wheels get missaligned due to universal and CV joints usage (they are a bit loose) and if I install Servo on bith axles, there is no space for pto shafts...- 625 replies

Front axle and place for battery are finished (and very sturdy). Front axle has one stud suspension travel, so I think becayse it us a tractor (and not range rover) it is acceptable.- 625 replies

Systems tractors and other machinery
1gor replied to 1gor's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
@Jundis unfortinately I have only 2 of them (for fuel tank); this idea crossed my mind but then I could not make second stairs ½ stud positive offset (to inside) because tractor has a bit amgeled stairs to the left and space on 1:15 scale is 3 studs... This picture illustrages how left side looks like- 625 replies

42157 B Model - Backhoe Loader
1gor replied to Ngoc Nguyen's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Pitty that there are no few extra pneumatic chlinders or actuators to make backhoe...now you can make it in yellow when liebberr will be available to you Seriously you made great alternative. Impressive that you managed to add 3 steering modes -

[TC25] 8109 Flatbed Truck
1gor replied to SaperPL's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I agree that making lots of things in small space is very challenging; even for me (my models are in 1:15 scale) it is hardto implement what I want and have sturdy model because everything has a kind of chain reaction. -

For someone who makes tiny models I have expected that you will install all functionalities in smallest possible model. So honestly it is not a big surprize at all, but again you made great model. -

If you are interested how re re redesigning of Fastrac is going; now all motors are placed inside central chassis part which includes 2 XL motors for drive, servo for steering (unfortunately no space to put one servo on each axle) one m moror for front pto and one for rear (you can see that one is turned to front and one to rear). Now since I needed more than dozen iterations toake something like that compact and stiff enough, I assume that until end of year I'll find a way how to make front part that will include battery box below bonnet (it remains unchanged) and to enable some stud, stud and half suspension travel on ftont axle. ...now I realized that I forgot to turn of rotation on ma mobile phone... Special thanks to @Zerobricks, @Philo and @gyenesvi who helped me with their experience when coupling 2 PF XL motors- 625 replies

It was very loooong time ago that I made so.erhing meaningfull, so far only managed to squezze 2 XL motors in Fastrac 4220 chassis(and finally it works very smooth) and now I'm brainstorming how to install m-motor at the rear... since it will have multiple steering modes- 625 replies

@Jundis, because they have ball joint only possible was is to angle suspension arms like in this image (but then you'll have to live with only oscilated front axle, no real suspension...) https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/161934-systems-tractors-and-other-machinery/&do=findComment&comment=3579929 -
