  1. I have 2 of 8416 forklifts bought because one shop had big discount and I needed 4 universal joints and lots of red...now back to present year...since today is last day of July and tomorrow is day for 2H sets...I saw 42079 today for 52 Euro and 42080 for 150 Euro
  2. It looks so smooth and clean (and in white it looks elegant)
  3. Do not worry, we all have failures more or less epic, but look from this side: you have courage to share it with us and that is something
  4. Steering will cause you a headache, you need to use lift arm 3 X 3 l shape because there is 3 studs between axle and steering rod... Steering will cause you a headache, you need to use lift arm 3 X 3 l shape because there is 3 studs between axle and steering rod...
  5. Since I "play" with LEGO Technic about 40 years with some dark ages due to other responsibilities (which could not be neglected) I have "found out" that mostly playable are sets with size of forklift truck to rally car. Intentionally I have chosen examples from this year
  6. Question - why does always be big set with 4000 pieces to be interesting? Perhaps smaller set like 8274 would be more interesting...and TLC has CLAAS license...?
  7. @DarkShadow73 The Volvo is the beast from future, but I agree it is j retesting line up this year 42079 is very nice set and finally forklift truck with engine, differential, steering and of course main function which gave the name for this type of machine. If you are patient enough wait several months and you will get sets cheaper
  8. Thanks, I'll upload images asap when I'll be satisfied with result
  9. So @Timoonn it is a freedom of choice, you just go to bricklink order missing parts and proove everyone that you could make it better...about price, you can always wait several months and buy it cheaper...
  10. I was referring to my built because I like realistic width which is very hard to achieve with LEGO tires ...anyway in my topic I'll post images of chassis and axles when I'll be satisfied with update. Last published version is history...
  11. I know the feeling despite that last two bigger sets (2 copies of Version) was bought by her... perhaps because those 2 were at price of one...?
  12. Looks promising. I just hope that this model is for 62.4 tires. (Since I'm thinking about few trucks to build in future after I finished Unimog, few systems tractors and few telescopic handlers...and who knows what will cross my mind in near future...)
  13. @627 and they have one more thing in common - the same brand. You got good deal with it and smart raising children because you decided that crane is for Christmas
  14. I agree with @nerdsforprez, we are complaining without reason. If someone is so smart why doesn't he / she / it ... modify it and enjoy in he's / her / it's ... perfection. IMHO set is really good and color vomit (which enables easier build BTW) is hidden
  15. First of all very nice effort, since I'm working on 1:15 Fastrac 4000 series too (based on CLAAS tire and currently working on chassis because I need 5 - 6 more black 5 X 7 frames)... Since I'm never satisfied with my work, I'll give you one suggestion: when using CLAAS tire, chassis (and overall width) should be 21 studs which means that part of the chassis should be just 3 studs wide if you want proper steering angle (tractors are known for small turning radius as possible) and do not want tires to touch chassis
  16. Probably on vertical caterpillars orientation stability is not satisfying; but it is just my opinion ?
  17. I hope that this post gives you proper answer
  18. I have realized that "sound is on" on my phone to late...later I wanted to hear what reviewer has to say...
  19. Agree completely...it would be nice to see some building stages. The only complain is that you chose "music" that I do not like other things about video are good ?
  20. And have 6 cylinder engine, etc...but it is nice compromise achieved by LEGO. When looking this image good question is how to make front more narrow to fit another pair of wheels
