  1. But IMHO the one from liebherr (dark bluish gray) could do the job BTW nice start
  2. @PetSild IMHO you version is the best solution what I have seen so far
  3. Thanks for video; my biggest question is now answered; PF XL motor has highest torque of the all. I have noticed one more thing; side of PU XL motor can not be put inside 5 x 7 frame
  4. I understand that but I think using new CV can compromise that in lots of situation
  5. IMHO it looks really good (despite I never like it). I see that you have an option of flat 4 and flat 6 engine, but I did not know that there was flat 8 (or how in Porsche it is called boxer since crankshaft is "pushing" pistons...) About gearbox you can use gearbox from 8448 set...
  6. You're welcome. New planetary hub have only one negative feature; instead towball I would prefer a pin hole at the same place so you can decide to have pin for live axle or pin with towball for independent suspension
  7. And my browser says that article is 13 hours old...there is something owfuly screwy going around Google ... Thanks for info.
  8. Here is an article with some new images ... https://zusammengebaut.com/lego-technic-liebherr-r-9800-42100-im-detail-mit-control-plus-viele-bilder-und-videos-72599/
  9. That is just around a corner I'm wondering how it will perform...
  10. It should have been written "and" but my smartphone has (sometimes) mind of its own... Mustang could be kind of copy of this year's original mustang set...
  11. I have 2 XL yellow sprotckets from one 42095 bought on discount that has some damage (which can be covered by dish 6 x 6). Perhaps Lego could send me dark bluish gray ones as exchange
  12. Just in older CV joint; based on review videos when you turn upside down new joint it is still axle connected to it . .
  13. I have the same doubts...even existing technic battery box (not train) is to big for my mocs, so at the moment I do not know what to do with smart hub; existing motors that are longer than 6 studs are causing me a headaches and not to mention backwards compatibility question...but I must admit it is nice set...when rock crawler was in market I had to chose it over Unimog and choosed Unimog... and ended up buying PF parts separated until 42030 set
  14. The whole set is always more meaningful decision to buy then just parts...hmm only if you lack space then go for parts only
  15. Honestly solution is simple and clever Now you are "hurrying" me to finish my RC Fastrac and start working in trailer, but I have only 2 blue panels
  16. Anyway instructions are available https://www.lego.com/en-my/service/buildinginstructions/search#?search&text=42099%204X4%20X-treme%20Off-Roader%20Technic
  17. Is it possible to see closeup photo of your solution? Thanks
  18. Orange and blue looks great together...steering wheels on trailer are great idea like this (craab steering on trailer) To have steering it means that you have separated motor for PTO. I suppose you use gear racks for steering. Do you have 68.8 x 36 H tires (they would look better IMHO)? https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=41893#T=C&C=11
  19. Use bricksafe or Flickr as hosting service and paste images (with h max resolution 1024) here in your post.
  20. Great Moc. Looking forward to see version with new wheels hub from 42099 set...
  21. Idea is very cool and it is not your guilt that pneumatics work that way. Perhaps you should build it smaller scale so it could be more sturdy ... The point is to push limits so you can develop and learn something new
  22. Easiest way is to see if thicker part (that has a ring like opening) of clutch gear is facing transmission driving ring... On image below right gear is showing that ring like opening and this side should face transmission driving ring... and left gear is showing side that should not face transmission driving ring
