  1. I like the color scheme, but wouldn't this be better suited to the main forum? ;-) I've always loved the chicken-walker designs though *wub*
  2. I absolutely love the design, and the use of the archers, though I first thought this was in the wrong forum when I saw the title :-P
  3. I just didn't want to flood the place with reviews of older sets ;-) I'll get home in about a week, expect them sometime around then
  4. Well, I have a bunch of older space sets (none are "classic Space", but still from Blacktron I through Ice Planet 2002, Insectiods, UFO, etc.) I could do a bunch of reviews if you guys want, how many?
  5. Yes, what DID you use to paint? especially the thundercats hairpiece... Is a spray really that much better? Did you put a basecoat? And what site did you buy it from? Thanks X-D
  6. I have done in the past but ive always found them to be to easily damaged, i prefer normal label paper becasue they can be handled alot more. You've tried coating them with nailpolish remover too? That worked on a few figs I have like a charm
  7. I'd have to say my favorite theme was Space Police I, with Ice Planet 2002 a close second ;-) Ice Planet has memories, but SP1 has memories and awesome designs. Gotta love those standardized cells and color schemes *wub*
  8. Well, my two favorite themes have always been Space and Castle, in that order ;-) So I'd like a tag You know, it would actually be fun to have an assortment of different tags we could have, for instance a tag that was space/castle, or space or castle or any combination of any major themes. Of course the more tags the smaller they would be to keep them from getting out of control. *shrugs*
  9. very nice! Just wondering, have you ever considered using waterslide decals?
  10. It is a shame, but for collectors like me...I guess I'll end up getting it *wacko* There were less redesigns than I thought
  11. It's not a set, and there's already a thread about it here ;-) But thanks for the heads-up anyway!
  12. I love this, I can see why you made the raft plain, even though it's a MOC you wanted to keep along with TLG designs sorta, good and bad. I think it works really well, all of it! I like the hidden ruby especially, very LEGO-ish. Keep it up, I can't want to see more!
  13. Nah, I think it's pretty explicit that Han and Leia get together ;-)
  14. Not if Lego goes belly-up before they get a chance to </pessimism>
  15. Yes, MUCH more child-friendly ;-)
  16. Wow that...was really painful to read. Try to use correct spelling and whatnot in the future, okay? Anyway, I doubt they'll pick up the license, and it IS a LOT like Adventurers (I'm still not sure if you were being sarcastic or not...it almost sounds like someone took over your computer). You KNOW Lego would never make Nazis anyway, but there is still so much left to explore in this genre it isn't funny. It's such a shame what happened to it.
  17. Hm, I was building the main building, and I noticed the 2x4x1 45 degree slopes were smooth, whereas past slopes had texture to them. Why the sudden change? Are these cheaper or something? When did it start?
  18. That MOCer is NickGreat over at MCN. That's his white knight, in contrast to his red knight. They both use the face of the Green Goblin mask added on to the armor/helmet. I like his white knight, but personally his Red knight is my favorite *wub* And here's a link to his stuff
  19. The problem with that is that each AFOL has their own universe in mind. It's just an inpractical idea, if you want that so badly, just use LDD to "make" your own sets, and have people share their instructions. That's the closest you're gonna get. Even if Lego uses a waiver, there are still plenty of legal issues, not to mention that Lego carefully designs their sets to keep the number of parts, and colors strictly to what they have excess of, and what they need to get rid of the fastest. That's why in sets we see random parts in green that don't go, when a black one exists and would look much better. Besides, it's best to leave it to them. If people want to share their instructions that's fine, but TLG will really have no part in it, other than to say "that's nice'. Sorry if it sounds harsh or something, it's just that I really disagree with the plausability of it :-/
  20. Original Exo-force Dinosaur thing? All I can think of is a set from Robo-Force, but that isn't the predacessor to Exo-force any more than Spyruis was ;-) Were you talking about something else?
  21. Ah, absolutely beautiful MOCs! I wish I knew more about WW1 armorments so I could comment more on their accuracy, but they look plenty authentic to me :-P You really have a talent for this, I can't wait to see more!
  22. Watch out, crock!
  23. uh oh... >:-)
