  1. I've never been satisfied with any incarnation of the X-Wing, to be honest. Here's hoping that they get it perfect this time around. I wonder what the setting will be like, though. Maybe, like the Slave 1, they'll include a bunch of extra nice figs, supply vehicles, etc. Bleh...more flesh-tone though *wacko* The UCS should be interesting though. I don't quite know what to expect...except that I doubt it will be a radical departure from the UCS Interceptor.
  2. I'm betting it had something to do with that being the only hairpiece in that color he had ;-)
  3. Speaking of a display case, it's my wish that, after I finish the REAL MOCs I'm working on, that I'll make a Lego "Museum" to display my rare figs and parts. By that I mean a decent-sized Lego building to display my rarest figs and parts. I'm a bit of a collector, so I'm just drooling over that picture of yours
  4. I love those classic castle figs :'-( I have some, but there are never enough. Nice army, and nice camera!
  5. Games are in development for awhile, chances are either the sprite in the game could be changed last-minute, or they didn't decide to re-make the Y-Wing at the time they started development of the game. There's always the possibility that they really aren't making one, of course, but there's also the possibility they didn't think it needed to be changed for the game (aka. nobody would notice the difference). A lot of possibilities, but frankly I don't think they need to remake the Y-Wing, they've done plenty of vehicles for now, and they've plenty of vehicles they have yet to explore.
  6. I am in search of the numbers this way can I them order at lego or bricklink You don't use those numbers to order from Bricklink or Shop At Home. You use the set numbers which you already know. I thought you just used them for organizing your own instruction booklets, which is why you used that relatively unused number, but if you ever want to find out about a set, you can just use this site.
  7. Very well done! I like the background, I look forward to seeing you make more backgrounds and characters 8-
  8. Wow...a lot of figs o_o A complete Kashyyyk trooper? I love those guys *wub* I haven't been to a Lego store in forever...bah
  9. If they were really smart, they'd release more "playsets" than solitary vehicles. Like the older sets were groups of settings, mixed in with vehicles and the like, the newer LEGO sets seem to be focused on smaller, separate vehicles instead of buildings and scenery. I think not only a Hoth playset would sell nicely, but also an Endor one with the bunker, a couple redesigned AT-STs, biker scouts, rebel troops, and Ewoks (Obviously not a cheap set). They could also do the Lars homestead, or even the fabled Toche station!
  10. It's probably referring to Attack of the Clones, the movie Jango's Slave 1 is from

  12. Well, it says "Hasbro and LEGO", so from that I'd say both. However it could always be a spokesman who doesn't know what he's talking about and it's neither :-P
  13. No real reason, just didn't feel like it... *skull* Steve Well then, have you considered Palpatine's face? I think it would work well with the look you're looking for
  14. Why not just put the wings on a white horse? I love this series by the way *wub*
  15. I love this. It's great that you scaled back on the weapons, and the new color scheme fits beautifully. I hate to think how much exo-force you had to canibalize for this :-P I still say it's a really interesting design, and I like the fact that the ship has an actual "spine" holding it together. The greebles are nice, but the ones on the back are a little sparce, so either put a little more in, or remove it altogether. I think if you could find a way to hide the greebles a little more on the back it would have a better effect. What else can I say, it's a nice, smooth ship with a very interesting design. Great job!
  16. I'm definitely loving this series, keep it up! I wonder why famine would carry food with him though...was that also mentioned in the bible?
  17. Agreed, the first thing I thought of when I saw it was "Podracer?" But it's a nice and spiffy little ship! It's a bit big and clunky for a one-seater, but it's still a pretty nice design. The greebles look fine, but there's just something about this ship that looks off to me. Anyway, it's still a nice ship :-)
  18. Hm...well, I can't say I'm impressed with it. It's so modular...I was hoping for a larger building with actual cells, instead of a bunch of huts. I actually like Poison Ivy's cell (though a few actual plants inside would've been nicer. I wish they weren't flesh-tones either, but what could I expect? It all looks soo...mideval as mentioned before. I wanted/expected something with a more contemporary...gothic look that Gotham is known for. I wanted extra cells for the Joker/Killer Croc/Twoface, and offices for police officers. I guess it's an okay parts pack but...it's a real let down. Three exclusive figs is the only real plus to this set. I'll still buy it though :-P
  19. I wasn't sure if I could use Brasso or not, so to be safe I didn't for this contest. If it's allowed...do it mentally :-P Here's my entry: bounty hunter, and toughman-for-hire Tergus Latro Species: Human Gender: Male Age: 36 Standard Galactic Years Homeworld: Forsitis Weapon(s) of choice: Kemlar X-9 Modified Heavy Repeating Rifle, Lightsaber Vehical of Choice: Jabba's Sailbarge ;-) Eyecolor: Red Haircolor: N/A Backstory: Born into a middle-class family, Tergus got bored with an average life, taking out his frustrations in training. He was forced out of school at an early age for bullying his classmates. His parents refused to put up with his behavior, so he ran offworld to find what to do. After nearly a decade on his own, having already earned a reputation as a fierce murderer, Tergus joined the Empire hoping to refine some of his skills. He was quickly expelled. After an encounter with a rival bounty hunter who was a master in close-quarter combat that he barely survived, he decided to take up a secondary weapon. He trained in vibroblades, becoming quite skilled with them, but in a bazaar on a backwater desert planet he found a gem...or rather two of them in an old Jedi lightsaber that had changed hands a million times. It didn't work, but after some work and research he got it working again. Tergus hides it under his cloak, only revealing it in extreme circumstances where his laser doesn't cut it (no pun intended). Having no currency to get offworld, Tergus found work with the local Hutt crimelord--Jabba. Tergus stays in the shadows mostly, and was one of the handful of survivors from Jabba's encounter with Jedi knight Luke Skywalker. He was on the lowerlevel cleaning his blaster at the time of the attack, and by the time he got to the surface his boss was dead and his enemies had fled. He looted as much as he could and made his way back to Mos Eisley. Selling what he looted, he managed to buy fare offworld. His whereabouts are currently unknown. Profile: No mask: Kemlar X-9 Modified Heavy Repeating Rifle: Lightsaber drawn: Wind blowing: The picture doesn't do the gun justice really...but it's hard to see it in 3-D right in a picture. I hope the backstory wasn't too boring, I just made it up as I went along :-P Enjoy!
  20. Could you deeplink?
  21. Exactly, a review in my opinion is something that is meant to contribute to the boards, to help people decide whether or not they like a set or want to buy it, not just something to do to kill time. That's why it's I think multiple reviews of sets are fine (like with the Batboat for instance), as long as they're significantly different and cover different aspects to give one complete view. I think if someone added their review into that of someone elses, it might get overlooked. Speaking of that I can't wait till some of the new sets come start coming out
  22. Ah, like a dope I thought there were seveal different branches for several different regions. Thanks
  23. I don't see why not. I've secured one of the red helms, but the actual figure is nowhere to be found...nor is the axe :-/
  24. I love how it's on ebay France, and how everything is in French EXCEPT for the item description (the seller is from Florida). That just confuses me on so many levels. Why would a person from the states post on ebay France when the shipping would be more, and post the descrption in English when it would be less confusing for the bidders to read it in their native language? *wacko* As for the set it's already been mentioned as a great parts pack, but I have to say that if I was a child I still would have had countless hours of fun with this as a set. It's still far beyond most of the stuff TLG has been pumping out lately.
  25. I believe it's grey actually, and from Norro's review, I think he said the ladder is indeed a catapult!
