For me I have my classes (I'll be a senior in University in a few weeks), so I haven't had much time to build. Of course when I can't build my mind is filled with all the ideas I don't have time for, and when I have the time I'm busy with other things. Then classes start again and I curse my lack of time :-P I'm looking forward to some of the new sets, 2006 was impressive, but not as much as 2005. Hopefully 2007 will fix that, and it's looking decent so far. Once I actually FINISH a MOC I think I'll be in a much better mood. I haven't build something I was satisfied with in MONTHS *wacko* And yes, as people have said before, it comes and goes. I'm sure in the coming years we'll see less and less old-time EBers, and more newbies like myself. Sadly it's the nature of time, and the nature of the human heart, though I despise change more than you can imagine, and will often latch onto something long after I have grown tired of it, as I don't want to admit to myself that I too, have changed. All I can do, all anyone can do is stay true to who they are (hobby or not) and remember the good times, and try to make more. I'm not in a dark age, let's just call it a grey one ;-)

Yeah, that is an old exploreans droid body. One of the best they produced (they're so fun). The gun is LA, I think I have one of that model. They're pretty cheap, you can buy them at Sith's Toy Box on bricklink. I do think/hope TLG's guns will be a little bulkier than that, though

Nice review. I have this set, which I was originally going to get for just a parts pack, but for some unexplainable reason, I fell in love with it *wub* I just see it as the kind of thing they USED to prodice. Everything is brick-built from small pieces. I happen to LOVE the euro armor (both designs, though especially the red), and I think it's just very well designed on the whole. I do think your score was fair though, as I can't explain exactly why I can't bring myself to tear it apart!

I just wanted to say sorry if I haven't been around as much, or if I've acted differently at all. My uncle had major emergency heart bypass surgery recently, and I've been spending the majority of my time with him at the hospital. He's fine now, just recovering, though he gave the whole family a scare. He had all 6 valves replaced, and he's going home on Tuesday most likely, after which I'll be taking care of him at his home while his new fiance

But it's only a possibility...SAM is always accurate, but he made no promises about that ;-) And from the looks of it, they're not metallic silver, but they COULD be changed to that I personally hope they don't. It wouldn't look right, and the chrome would just chip off...

VERY well done. You're a great sculptor, especially Shayera's hair :-) One thing, how did you do the torsos? Some look like decals, while others look hand-drawn. Remember RB will print out our decal on waterslides at-cost if you want. If you haven't considered waterslides I'd try them, they look much better than other kinds Can't wait to see more customs, keep it up *y* (P.S. Am I the only one who thinks we need a "Customs" subforum in the MOC forum?)

I actually have that in red and purple, as well as the normal helm in green. They're pretty cool ;-) But you didn't answer my question! *sing* I believe that fig was from a limited release polybag from...I believe the netherlands. If you look back far enough there was a topic on this in the castle section. I just got mine from BL ;-) I hope this answers your question

Fantastic! Some areas were a little disappointing, but the news of the new guns definitely made up for it. They'll be common too, so bulk ordering off BL won't be expensive! I wonder what they'll look like 8-

i agree As do I, except you could always replace the trans red with dark grey, and keep the engines trans red, and go with two colors? Or is your heart set on three? I know it's the trend, but hey, some of the most brilliant MOCs went against trends

I am heading over to NYC TRU right now...getting my hopes totally up! Well I was just at a TRU out on the Island, and it looked as if they had just gotten a new shipment in (all themes were fully stocked, a beautiful sight :'-) ) but alas no new Star Wars sets
