Nice old town. I think the building on the very right looks out of place. I believe this is mainly because of the windows. They are different from the windows of the other buildings. That's why that building sticks out a lot.
No 6-wide cars and trucks in my town! The reason: continuity. I don't like a mix of 4 and 6-wide cars/trucks in my town. I'd only make exceptions for wonderful sets which simply contain a 6-wide vehicle. But I wouldn't buy a 6-wide vehicle separately. And I don't like those really big racing cars at all. They're just too big for the minifigs.
And there's one big advantage about sticking with 4-wide vehicles: no problems with garages, road plates, whatsoever.
The building looks great and you also added some nice details in its interior. I do not like the colour scheme too much, though. But you say it is a Bumblebee Cafeteria; and for such a building the colour scheme is appropriate indeed!
Nice layout and superb houses! I especially like the green, white, and red house with the white roof. It looks as if you made it with quite many ordinary bricks. That gives me confidence, because most bricks I have are ordinary. Still, I need more of them. My brick collection is too small for such a wonderful house as you built!
Nice introduction! Welcome to our community!
You have two cats? I've got one but I don't like her being around my LEGO too much. Don't want her hair on my precious LEGO stuff.
You claim that you are quite new to MOCing, but for me you are already a specialist! I don't like the studless look though. I'd have preferred seeing plates for the river and ordinary bricks instead of slopes for the rock. But this is only my personal preference. I know that some people here simply love the studless look. Anway, your MOC is really stunning! Really great work! If you can build such things though you are only a beginner, I'm eager to see your MOCs when you are a specialist!
I think your pics could also have been put in the thread on LEGO humour! They are absolutely hilarious! I especially like the last one with the trolls stealing some lunch money.
Definitely with doors! I mean it's just more realistic. The more details, the better. Didn't like the <insert that tiresome argument> cars much. And I don't like detailed cars either as long as they don't have doors.
Looks like the M:Tron guys have made some loot! This is a great modification of that Spyrius robot. And the comic you made is also funny indeed! Keep up that good and creative work!
I'm also asking myself why there are black 1x2 plates on the tracks...
Anyway, this is a fantastic MOC with many nice details. I also like that sitting woman with the red skirt. Good use of log pieces. I'm just asking myself if the building would look nicer if you had used tan bricks. But the baseplate is already tan; so I'm not sure if it would look much better than it already is!
Keep on moccing!
I have none of them as spare parts. All the ones I have are used for the sets they came with. But I find log pieces nice. I would love to build a mountain under which my trains can go through. I'd like to build the mountain with old dark grey bricks plus an Alpine hut with log bricks on it! So for some buildings log bricks are better than normal bricks. I couldn't imagine building such an Alpine hut without log pieces.
I would jump up and down like a ball out of pure happiness if LEGO released Star Trek sets. Not only those brilliant small ones Lt.Col.Thok posted. I'd love to see some big Star Trek spaceships. Next year a new Star Trek movie can be seen in the cinemas. Would be ideal for LEGO to get a license then.
