I only have old gray road plates with bike lanes. I buy the same road plates from eBay if I need them. I like continuity. Don't want to have 4 different types of road plates. So you could sell all the other types of road plates and use the money for only one type. Otherwise I think MacK's recommendation is fine.

I use a combination of MOCs and official LEGO sets... but I only have two MOCs. These are two waggons which I built with the spare parts of set 10183 and some additional plates. My quantity of bricks does not allow moccing yet. And I can't afford buying lots of parts. I'm still busy with buying 9V stuff; especially now since the production of 9V stuff has ended.

New couplings are going to be available soon. There is a thread with pictures of the new couplings here.

Thanks for those wonderful pictures and congrats! I think buying this on eBay was a good decision! I have no M:Tron sets at all, but I like the MCM very much. It's just a wonderfully big set with many nice detials. Lots of playing possibilities! I wish I had it too.

In the 80s LEGO released so many wonderful sets! I also like 12V trains, though I only have one waggon and a railway station of that era, but the locomotives of that time had a very special charm. The beginning of the 90s was also great; lots of wonderful sets before a decline of new good sets started in the mid-90s (in my opinion). Your collection is really great! I'd love to have many of the sets you have!

Wow, there's been a flood of newbies from Belgium recently! Nice to have another train and town fan here! I'm much into 9V trains! I only have two sets from the 12V era. Welcome to eurobricks!

Wow, nice little castle! I especially like the pentagonal roof of the tower. Quite creative to construct the roof that way! Quite a lot of plants, but hey: knights did not have lawn mowers.

Hi! Good that you have left those nasty Dark Ages behind you! Welcome to eurobricks!

Hi and welcome, space fan! Out of curiosity I must ask the following: in what area of research are you writing your thesis?

Welcome to eurobricks! Oh, LEGO brick quality has been a hot topic here. I'm sure you can let off steam concerning this topic in one of the threads.

I say and use LEGO. I can understand why TLC wants it to be used correctly. I wouldn't want my name to be mispronouced and misspelled either.

Hi and welcome! Maybe you could tell us a bit more about yourself like the themes you are into. -
I might be wrong but this one looks quite unstable and fragile.

Welcome! It's no problem if you don't have many sets. If you want to participate in brick-related discussions, this is the right forum for you! -

Nice to have another train fan around! Welcome to eurobricks! -
Splendid locomotive! Congrats for this beautiful MOC! But I feel there is a bit too much empty space between the wheels. I don't mean the central upside down construction. I mean there is quite a bit of empty space between wheel one and wheel two and between wheel 2 and wheel three and so on. I think for set 10133 and 10020 more parts were used to decorate the running gear.

Finally finished your engine, huh? I've been longing to see the final result of your effort. It's absolutely superb! It even has two tenders. Do you think one motor is sufficient for such a long engine? I mean for the engine alone it definitely is, but what if you add several waggons? I must admit that I don't like the colour scheme too much. There's a lot of blue. I usually prefer traditional black or black and red steam engines. But this isn't a comment intended to verbally reduce your efforts! It's just a matter of taste concerning colours.

Wow, the fish and chips shop and the curry house really like fantastic. I love the colour combination of the tiles on the floor: red and yellow.

Nice vignette! The face of the minifig on the vehicle reminds me of those terrible accidents presented in the TV show "Scarred." That show is giving me the creeps! Couldn't watch it more than one or two times.

Very nice hospital indeed! I also like the pathway leading to the entrance door much! But the helicopter is missing!

Oh, this day must be a very special day! This is wonderful news! I also don't like it that the classic space fig has a new-style helmet and that the 1996 minifig will surely have bley legs. But hey, these minifigs are still great! Nice way of getting the classic space torso! It would be great if LEGO released theme specific minifig collections consisting of, for example, one classic astronaut, a futuron dude, a blacktron II and a Spyrius minifg. Something like that would be great! Anyway, wonderful news!
