Just a while ago I bought Cafe Corner on S@H. It was just before it was sold out. I was fortunate then. Now I've been fortunate again. I've recently ordered Town Plan. Now it's sold out but one copy has been shipped to me. It's also a S@H purchase. I haven't received it yet.

The recently found evidence that there's indeed water on the Moon - at least in its frozen condition - is very exciting, but I highly doubt there'll be a manned mission to the moon in the next decades. I also doubt there'll be a moon space station due to the cost factor. But since there's water on the moon, I believe there will almost certainly also be water on Mars.

With me "missing pieces" are more a matter of not following the instruction manual carefully. But the instruction manuals are tricky anyway since black looks like dark bley and vice versa. Be careful there. The resemblence of dark bley and black in construction manuals may sometimes be an explanation for missing pieces.

Wonderful and realistic, that's all I can say. I love the construction part. It is very detailed. I also like the green container, where old building material goes in. And you didn't forget a fine interior. The wheelbarrow is also a class of its own.

A bricklink order: 2x 4515 straight old dark grey rails. One of the two packs is open, but the seller says the rails are unused. The other pack is still sealed. I also bought Town Plan on S@H.

Do you think I should buy Town Plan or the Green Grocer? I think I'm going for Town Plan since I suppose it'll be discontinued before the Green Grocer. If my assumption is correct, I can buy the Green Grocer a bit later. I already have Market Street and Cafe Corner. So the Green Grocer would be a very good addition. Anyway, I just want to hear your advice.

Several bricks from a German bricklink store. I need them for my windmill project, a copy of the Vestas windmill.

Hoorrayy! A new corner building to complete the street. The only negative aspect: I must save money to buy the Green Grocer before it is discontinued! I was very fortunate with Cafe Corner. I bought it some days before it wasn't available anymore. I didn't know that its production had been ceased. To make sure I get what I want, I'd like to buy the Green Grocer as quickly as I can. At least the Fire Brigade is nothing that has attracted my interest. I don't like it so much. I'm not going to buy it. I hope I won't change my mind as soon as it isn't available any more. So I'm looking forward to seeing some real pictures of the set legomilk has announced! Thanks legomilk for that information!

That's what I'm waiting for as well. It would be absolutely fabulous to see a modular train station. But if TLC is going to release one, it'd have to be veeery big. I mean I once saw a big and brilliant modular train station here. Don't know where it is. It was a dead-end station, as far as I can remember. I'd be amazing to see such a station released by TLC.

I find this set outstanding though I believe the roof construction under which the light brick is located isn't so stable. I also had difficulties to get the roof plates on the roof base construction... here I also mean the roof under which the light brick can be found. Anyway, what I'd like to know is if there's a way of making the light brick shine permanently? First, I thought the hinge attached to it is there for one purpose: to press it upwards towards the roof. So as soon as the switch on button presses against the roof, there would be permanent light. But this doesn't work. The hinge is too weak to keep the switch on button in the necessary position.

I'm posting the picture that people can find by following your link: It's really a very nice landscape!! Lots of white slopes must've been used for it. I can only say WOW! And the mosaic of the mountains in the background is also amazing!

I know this question is one month too early; it's only October. But have you ever tried building a winter landscape? Houses with snow on their roofs? Or castles with snow on them? Snow on trees and so on? I've found some snowy stuff on brickshelf. By the way, these are not my creations. Here a castle construction: Look at the trees in the picture above. White plant leaves were used for them. Simply brilliant! This one looks classic and pretty good at the same time: Due to a lack of white bricks (and many, many other bricks), I'm not going to build such landscapes. I must be satisfied with my Winter Toy Shop 10199 and my Holiday Train 10173. But I'd like to know if you once tackled a winter landscape.

Splendid idea and good adaptation of the Winter Toy Shop. It looks incredibly nice next to the Green Grocer. Leaving a pedestrian area between the Toy Shop and Cafe Corner to put the Christmas tree there is also a formidable idea. Everything looks very nice.

Cafe Corner ranks first for me. I love the constructions in its corner (entrance etc.). They were made with excellent building skills. That's why I voted for it even though it has no things in its interior. But maybe I'm biased since I neither have the Green Grocer nor the Fire Brigade. And Cafe Corner is a recent purchase. So I'm still excited about this set.

Emerald Night! ...hey, I'm a train nut! What reply did you expect from me?! I love the engine and I also love the waggon. The Winter Toy shop would have been my second choice.

Another good question, and I hope that a member of this forum will be able to answer it. I haven't bought the Green Grocer yet. I think it'll still be available for a while. At least till spring. Cafe Corner was availlable for two years, and the Green Grocer was released later than Cafe Corner. Also if they discontinued the Green Grocer too soon, the Fire Brigade would be the only modular building. But maybe someone else can provide us with more accurate information. I'm just speculating.

Good question! I can't find it on S@H either! If it has been discontinued, I'm pretty fortunate since I ordered it recently when it iwas still available! But it's quite odd to discontinue it now when Christmas isn't so far away any more.

Wow, I really LOVE the new house! I especially like the lawn mower! What a nice little thing! Absolutely brilliant!

Oh no! I'm already changing my mind! Actually I didn't want to buy any pirates set, because I didn't want to have so many different imperial soldiers (old blue ones, old red ones, new red ones). There's no continuity with the soldiers, and that annoys me tremendously. But this ship looks so stunning! It's really perfect and wonderful! I'm already changing my opinion! I think I must get it! But if I get it, I will probably want Brickbeard's Bounty as well.

I'm going to buy this set together with Cafe Corner as soon as I have received my next monthly salary. I highly doubt that I'll leave the box of the Winter Toy Shop closed till Christiams. I'm pretty sure I'll open it when I have it. By the way, I find the Winter Toy Shop outstanding.
