Note that I don't actually own Space Police and all of my opinions are derived from Brickset. Personally... I think they both have their merits. Space Police 2 had a slightly better main cruiser as well as the Solar Snooper, but Space Police 1 had the Spy-Trak 1... Overall, I'd probably have to go with Space Police 2. The designs were more consistently decent. But I like Space Police 1's color scheme better, so it's a tough choice. My favorite set is probably the Spy-Trak 1.

Normally I don't care for City, but those farm sets are actually pretty good...

Are there pictures of the new pirate sets? Or are you just going by names? Also, yes, I also find that amusing. I guess they just want to keep the information from spreading.

I really think Blacktron worked best as an independent theme. LEGO's new policy of including uninspired enemy vehicles with the good guys just kind of results in a mediocre set... it drives up the price for no good reason. I really hope that's not the case, since one of the biggest gripes with Mars Mission was paying an extra five bucks for an alien craft so lazily designed that it looks like a five year old did it. At least, that was my biggest gripe. I really just want Space Police, pure and simple. New figs, updated vehicles, a new monorail base- I'd be one happy camper. But of course I'll avoid getting TOO excited until pics. After all, this could all be folly, or LEGO could completely ruin the theme with sloppy designs or unworkable gimmicks. EB AGAINST FLICK FIRE MISSILES IN THE NEW SPACE POLICE!!!!!!!!!!!

This would make me so happy if it was legitimate... I was calling for a new Space Police only a few months ago! SPACE POLICE ON!!! ...or Galaxy Patrol. Why are there two names?

The UD Walker is by FAR the best choice.

I really want this set... the only thing is, I'm not a castle collector OR a chess player, and I'd only be buying it for the figs... which isn't quite worth $200 for me. Maybe if it goes on sale?

I liked Life on Mars. :P

I just got this set, and I can tell you right now that it's one of the greatest Space sets in a long time! Better than Life on Mars! MORE than worth it.

I'm actually pretty curious about this AAT. It could be awesome.

Way to over-analyze one of LEGO's shallowest themes, everybody. It's clear the aliens are only present to give the humans someone to fight. There's no clear reason why the aliens need the crystals- presumably they need them for the same reasons humans do, to power their vehicles. The reason doesn't matter. There just needs to be two factions so that the ten year old boys can have fun playing with the sets. I'd love a REAL alien theme again, like UFO (which was amazing), but LEGO seems content to give us small sub-theme vehicles. =/

...I have doubts about this.

Did you really? I haven't even been able to find it at LEGO stores. And no, no difference.

This is actually one of my favorite Star Wars sets. Awesome rare pieces, and excellent construction. Geo figs are a plus too. Best of all, it's nice and cheap.
-
Fighter Tank might be my favorite SW set ever... just look at that detail.
-
This is my favorite set in the Clone Wars wave, and I'll be picking it up without a doubt... that is, whenever the folks at LEGO decide that it's okay for us to buy their sets in US.

The AAT and tri-pod thingy sounds good. The shuttle sounds potentially bad, but no telling until pics.

I don't know if I'd like that, though, because then all of the Bionicle storyline is kind if erased up until that part. :P

This will be impossible to enforce without utterly destroying the casual feel to EB. I assume extenuating circumstances will be taken into account- there's no point of adding another three sentences to your post when the point can be made with just one. I think it might be easier for you just to say less SPAM (stupid pointless annoying messages), which will get rid of posts like "OMG... only 2 cones??????????? WTF lego?????? kthnx bai" without making members add useless run-on sentences just to avoid breaking the rules.

Bionicle 2001 and beyond: An essay of personal thoughts.

If you're debating about whether or not a game is winnable, you KNOW it sucks. -

I agree that a little more action would not have hurt MNOLG- with it's sparse distribution it felt a little... random. But I loved how elaborate the Bionicle world was, and the very thought-out cutscenes were great too. The gameplay itself- I won't lie- wasn't amazing. But I did enjoy it more than Bionicle Heroes, and still do to this day. Shame there's not much replay value- I feel like it could be a true masterpiece of Templar Studios had put just a little more time and energy into it. There are a lot of games like that. In short, I absolutely agree that MNOLG captured the Bionicle world in a way that no LEGO theme has ever attempted since, Bionicle included. Before MNOLG I really just thought of Bionicle as upgraded Throwbots- which was enough for me to snatch them all up- but with MNOLG, the music CDs, and the free software it became something entirely different. 2002 wasn't so bad, but from 2003 onward I feel like it lost that quality. Now it's just stupid. I'm not gonna buy any Bionicle set with "really firing!!" gimmicks attached to them, which probably means I won't be buying any ever again. -
I assume you didn't like the Infiltrator?
