I heard that Bionicle was going to go back to it's roots in 2009, after 08's "final battle". As an alienated Bionicle fan I hope it's true. What's the story on this?

Rock Raiders was one of my favorite LEGO themes ever.

Is it seriously? This set was a must-buy for me in the first place, but now that I see it in so much detail, it's just perfect... even the alien ship is better than usual. I love the scooter that flies out of the escape pod, the backpacks, bulldog stickers, and water tank. :D I'll be getting this one! SPACE FANS UNITE!

Anyone know the US release date?

Both the AAT and Attack Shuttle sound interesting. Nothing else on that list interests me. I never got the old AAT and I rather regretted it, so I'm glad they've got some more Separatist vehicles coming out. :D

Take heart in the fact that, no matter how many bad Starwars sets come out, it will never be as bad as Galidor.

The old AT-TE was stupid because it was built way too squat and the legs barely moved. You couldn't play with it. It looked okay, though, so it's not the worst set ever. Personally I hated the entire first wave of SW. All of the models were so flimsy.

I want to see all of the improvements made in the 08 wave taken a step further, with smaller sets as well as more heavy-duty drilling machinery and a REAL human base. :D Also, alien ground vehicles.

The only thing that bugs me about the HSD is that the pod in the middle is too high up- if you look at the HSDs in the background of the box art, they're actually much lower down. Otherwise I like it. The Sabre Tank is the best looking set IMO, followed by the DGS and the AT-TE.

Well, there's a chance that they ALL might suck.

*sigh* Minifigs are definitely not the motive for me in choosing any set, and it bewilders me that so many fans take them so seriously... The Palp Arrest sounds boring- just some figs and a desk and a window. The Cruiser has more potential, with lots of control panels and such.

I wish LEGO wasn't waiting. It's just frustrating fans... normally I can get new sets sooner than this from LEGO stores and TRU.

I like the canister thing on the back... cool detail.

I don't really see how... unless you mean LEGO took out the crap and added awesome.

For whatever reason they won't load for me, but thanks a ton- this set looks amazing! EDIT: DUDE... I got it to work and now I was this set 10x more! It's got decals, and the minifigs have backpacks!

Honestly I'm too much of a Space fan to be interested in this set. I'd rather have the sub. Good review though. :D
