  1. Whoever made this should invest his/her creative talent in something more interesting than a torture wrack.
  2. Agree 100%. Also, I'm picturing Davy Jones.
  3. This is a true statement.
  4. These set names are very promising. Squidman Escape makes me believe that we're going to get a variety of unique alien bad guys, which is GREAT. MM Jellies for the loose! Hyperspeed Chase is intriguing... and the "heist" sets sound cool. And the Galactic Enforcer is obviously going to be a huge cruiser of some kind, a la Galactic Mediator! I am pumped for this!
  5. I'm loving the obvious throwback to the main Space Police starships with the name "Galactic Enforcer". So nostalgic... I know for a fact I'll be picking up some of these sets, if only because I'm a diehard space fan. :P
  6. I wonder how much it'll be.
  7. Me too! Half the fun of those sets was looking at the box art.
  8. I'm curious about the big sets...
  9. I know, that's why I wanted something like the Rahi. Actually, now that I think about it, this arena thing reminds me of Throwbots. ... with that in mind it's growing on me.
  10. I wouldn't call that a storyline. I'd call that a theme.
  11. I hope not, 'cause honestly that sounds retarded.
  12. ...I dunno. The poster is cool, but... battling in an arena? That's possibly the most Megablocks-ish storyline we've ever had...
  13. I only got a few HP sets, but I miss them.
  14. Unfortunately, it's hard to argue that LEGO has exclusive rights to the brick shape. But this isn't good news for a company already struggling to make end's meet. I don't like high prices, but I understand that LEGO is trying to market a building toy to a demographic that generally prefers breaking things. With more clone brands this will inevitably mean that LEGO will loose money and be forced to drop their prices. They can't drop prices without decreasing quality somehow. I prefer expensive, good sets to cheap, bad ones. I imagine this also means LEGO will have to get more creative with their marketing... meaning we'll see more lines like Power Miners, and probably more licensed themes. This is not a good thing for LEGO.
  15. We don't know, but my guess is $40.
  16. Most of us don't have a PHD in Obvious.
  17. ...Oh. I assumed you reviewed all three. XD
  18. Oh, Darth, I saw your review and I wasn't clear on a few things. What do you mean when you say "lack of firing mechanism"? If it's what I think it is, the Jetrax suffers from the same issue, but you don't fault it. Same thing about the silver weapons. I was trying to decide which one to buy, and you gave the Axalara the most negative review, and yet I don't see anything in your cons that doesn't apply to all three sets if I understand them correctly.
  19. Will these be out in time for Christmas?
  20. Does it sit tilted in the movie? If yes, then I withdraw my judgement. If not, then it's a design flaw, no matter how you slice it.
  21. The "he has risen" tagline makes us Bionicle fans sound somewhat like a cult.
  22. What do we know about the storyline for 2009?
  23. I only mind Technic in my System sets if it interferes with the detail level. Otherwise, I see nothing wrong with it.
  24. Definitely universal design flaw there. It's an okay set, but not really worth $54.99. =/
  25. Then again, maybe we're the only three people who actually think that. XD
