The logo definitely looks different, it strongly resembles the old Royal Knights shield (as mentioned above). I spy new bardings and helmets for the new horses - exciting!! I also completely agree with the poster above who mentioned that Lego is trying to split the gap between these sets and the Lord of the Rings/Hobbit sets - this is evident in the color scheme they are using and the age ranges recommended for the sets.

Considering the Mouth of Sauron only appeared in the Extended Edition I would be a little surprised if he was included in a set. Not that I mind in the least if he is included... Bring on more awesome minifigs!

I completely agree with you. It would have been nice to have a $20 set in this wave.

Looks like one of the sets has appeared at Toys R Us (or at least on their website): http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=17328326

I contacted Lego about the cape and they said they'd send me a replacement part. It just came in the mail today and it contained ... another short blue cape. Disappointing but I guess I'll use it for Thorin as others have suggested.

BrickWarriors New Items - Dragon Wings!
Combee replied to Thrash's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
WOW! Those wings! I've never considered getting custom parts before but... man... those wings! Amazing. -
I wonder if its going to be the same nets that are used in the upcoming Hobbit set:
-
Theoden and Eomer share the same legs.
-
Exciting news! Do you mean May? Or are they going to release them so soon after the Hobbit sets?
-
Well, I think my favorite part is the new box designs The republic trooper helmets look cool (not that I know anything about the game).
-
Wow, I'm pretty impressed with these sets. The crocodile heads look awesome, I love the eagle mech, and I'm really happy that we get different color versions of the minifig wings. The lion vehicle, 70005, looks really cool (aside from the treads) so hats off to the designer who sculpted that lion head!

It's definitely movable. The joint looks very similar to the jaws of the raptors in the Dino theme.

Great work on the recolor! It reminds me a lot of the hyenas from Lion King. It would have been nice to get the wargs in brown and I wish they had given them pupils (but maybe that would look too "cute"?).

Strange that Bilbo has a much better choice of hair color (in my opinion) on his character bio page (http://thehobbit.lego.com/en-us/characters/bilbo/) compared to the final product.

Wonderful build just like everyone above, I love the sail! Great job
-
Awesome! My favorite bit is the ringwraith whose cloak caught fire
-
Wow, excellent job! In particular I like the whisk and the pen! Great work

They disassemble the display into grab bags at the end of the month (at least, that's how I got mine). I have a bunch of extra Eomer torsos now

Minifigures Series 9 Guessing Game
Combee replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I believe the Spartan helmet and Genie tail have both been reused. -
Well I have to say, that lion(?) on the cover looks pretty cool!

Agreed, I really hope this doesn't deter them from making that set a reality.

According to FBTB the picture came from the actor's Facebook page. I would like to see better versions of the Nori and Thorin pictures though
