Buy things on the primary market now, to avoid regrets in the future. Old stuff will still be old stuff X years down the road. The price of old castle figures does not inflate as fast as the CMF.

I definitely do not agree with this list. Primary because I do not agree with Fright Knights or Dragon Masters making the list. While I grew up with these sets, I simply find the older sets to have more appeal. My version would look like this: 10. Emperor's Stronghold 9. Forestman's River Fortress 8. King's Mountain Fortress 7. King's Castle 6. Black Monarch's Castle 5. Guarded Inn 4. Black Falcon's Fortress 3. Medieval Market Village 2. Royal Knight's Castle 1. Black Knight's Castle

EBAY SCAM: UCS Millennium Falcon10179 - £186.99 NEW

Shopping online is a learning experience, don't be so critical on these people. -
Sounds very promising and with the quality of the sets that we've seen thus far, I am sure TLC won't disappoint. I am hoping it would be something like this:
-
Yes, you have buyer's protection! Unless you sent a personal payment (gift), all your purchases are refundable. And also Ebay has implemented buyer feedback protection, so you don't have to worry about receiving a negative retaliatory feedback.

Congratulations! What a gem, it's so rare to find LEGO at a garage sale these days (let alone an almost perfect set). It's a shame the owner couldn't find the white plumes, it looks like he took good care of the set.
-
Tis the season again, thanks for the update! Are they $3.00 each?
-
Quick and easy survey! I am glad TLC is actively seeking out new ways to make the fans happy. Way to go LEGO!

With school on the horizon, I can't play. 6-8 weeks of gaming is just EPIC! Wish all of you who makes the cut good luck!

Thanks guys, it's 16 years of collection. They are all key chains! I bought a dozen of them since they were only $1 at the LEGO store. I am still waiting to get the real set and unfortunately, I missed out on the opportunity at my local Target. I only bought 2 green ninjas from TLC. When I was a kid, it never occurred to me to buy multiple sets. So I bought the rest on Ebay, back when the price were not as inflated as today.

Are the shields from your first and second photo made by BrickTW?
-
Doesn't look fake to me, as these figures were already released through the vintage collection. I am hoping the ninja is green, but that's probably wishful thinking.

Nice undead army there Beefbanana! I had some time off today so I decided to take a few pictures and organize my shelves. I apologize for the mediocre pictures as I am trying to save up for a camera upgrade .

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 6 Discussion
Donut replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
The space woman reminds me of the series 2 pop singer with a pink helmet. Elf, Dwarf, and now Minotaur?! This is simply awesome, I'll be looking forward to this set just for this fig. -
That would be me. Call me old fashioned, but I can't stand staring at a screen if a print version is available. I file all my instructions in one of those 3 drawer Sterlite compartment. To the OP, you should either sell part of your unwanted collection or open them. Bags take up less space than boxes.

BN 30% off, great chance to get the new Star Wars sets! Codes A4N4M4V ; D4J7V3X (I used the bolded one).

Anyone in Aus looking to sell some Batman stuff?
Donut replied to tj19941994's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
There is a new wave of superhero sets that will be hitting the shelves in the distant/near future. If you're not inclined to wait, why not buy it from Ebay or BL? I don't think you're going to get a response from anyone here. Just beware that the prices are steep. -
You pretty much hit the nail on all of the deals that are going on right now. However, if you live near a Kmart, go check them out. They were clearing a lot of inventory earlier this week. For the BN deal, try either of these codes A4N4M4V ; D4J7V3X (I used the bolded one).

Sorry to hear about your situation. The fastest way to sell these is by listing them on Ebay. However this is a bit risky as the final sale price depends on the amount of bids. If you set your initial price too high, it will discourage potential buyers. And conversely, if the price you set is too low, you might not end up with a satisfactory price. Hence, the risk and dilemma. I suggest doing some research on Ebay by following the trends on how much each set sells. Hopefully that will give you a good idea on the starting price. Bricklink price guide is also a good resource but not reflective of how things work on Ebay. It's gets really wild on there as prices sky rocket when there is less than 2 minutes left. Add lots of clean and clear pictures. Deeplink them if you have to as Ebay charges you for additional pictures. It is also very important to incorporate a good title (Set number, Pirates, Imperial, Lot, etc...) words (even throw in Star Wars if you have to) for maximum visibility. For shipping, open it to international as you'll attract more buyers. And insure the package. Best of luck to you.

Here's hoping for a complete assembly of the LEGO Justice League.

Took advantage of the Target sale today and got a handful of 7949 as they are 50% off in my area.
-
Ridiculous right? Prior to this, these sellers were listing the minifig barcodes for sale. They discredited someone's gift to the community. Just goes to show you how desperate these people are to make a few bucks.

Discounts vary by location. If you live in an affluent neighborhood there won't be much in terms of discount.

This is really an outstanding set, perhaps the best set from the Dragon Master series. Talk about nostalgia, I miss the yellow background with the sun and the alternative builds on the back of the box. A fantastic review and I am glad to see you had fun building it.

I love plot twists and this game was no different. I am ashamed to say I underestimated the complexity of this game and broke the rules by PMing. But I had fun nonetheless! To Darkness members - Sorry I couldn't help out, but you guys pulled through. To Townies - You guys did great considering the huge disadvantage you had. To Si-Moc - Props for doing a wonderful job of staying vigilant. And to def, thanks again for hosting a terrific game! You're awesome!
