Great review . I also own this set but mine is still in the box , I hope I can build it this week . I really like this set mainly cause it is something different of what we commonly receive. It has a great part selection and looks pretty cool in my opinion. Also I just want to point out that it seems like you put the "mounth" sectio of the head incorrect, I can be wrong thought .

Hi, after thinking about the possibilities and some ideas I have about what will be the secret set that the TLC is planning to release in September of this year and taking in consideration that every year we receive a BIG set in the SW line, around September-October I decided to create this topic . The question is simple: What do you think the BIG secret set of this year will be? If anyone still don´t know about what I am talking about here is a link to the info: "Secret Set" Also I want to clarify that this topic is about what do you think that set will be and not what do you wish . With this I mean that you could comment about POSSIBLE sets not things like "A giant Lando bust with around 20,000 pieces" . In my opinion, I think this is going to be a new Cloud City set . The article where this information belong has the next sentence: "The fifth and final set is still clouded in mystery. LEGO Ambassadors were contacted in January 2009 with a request for fan input into a second fans' choice. The LEGO company plans to reveal the identity of this new set-which undoubtedly will be as exciting and iconic as the rest of the line-in August, 2009 prior to its release in September". Now what I think is a possible hint is the word remarked with bold letter . Also the fact that the TLC know how much everyone (Including me ) love ESB and that this is the 10 anniversary of the SW line, I clearily see this set as a big possibility. So what do you think?

The same thing happened to the stickers of my RGS and sadly a new complete sticker shit of this set goes for more then $40 , which is pretty expensive considering they are just STICKERS .

In my opinion all the current themes will stay (SW, IJ, Castle, Pirates, City, Space Police) with the exception of some of them like Sponge Bob . I really want that the TLC focus more their first wave of SW to ESB (Like they mention in an interview) and that the second to more kind of sets apart from those ones inspired by the CW. I think the "Transportation" set will win the poll published by TRU and that a new monorail set is on the way (Or at least hope so). For IJ, I think we will see the submarine from RotLA and the Holy Grail Tmeple but the Tank is a bit hard to tell because of the politic of the TLC to not represent REAL war vehicles. This are all of my predictions and I hope the ESB thing comes true.

The poster looks better when you look at it in a bigger pic but I must agree with Bobskink that some are missing and that this is a lazy way from the TLC to celebrate the 10 annniversary. In my opinion all the people that have follow the line deserve something better than just a poster. Personally, the word "announcement" somehow seems to me like something more than a simple poster. Maybe the pre-order of that mysterious set ?

A new X-wing could be a really great set but only if they change the common "Luke´s X-wing" routine . A new X-wing with the actual building techniques and parts could be a great winter wave set but personally if they want to release another one I want something like this: - X-wing with a NEW Rebel Pilot (Porkins is a good choice but also a new Biggs could be great). - One of those little speeder seen in the Massassi Temple in Yavin with a good amount of detail. - One of those little ladder things that can be seen in Yavin where the Rebels repair the X-wings. - Minifigs: Porkins or Biggs, Rebel Mechanic, a new Astromech and Jan Dodonna. If we get this in a new X-wing set than I am going to be really happy .

Maybe a totally new Executor is on the way . If it is a new Cloud City I am going to be really, REALLY happy . I just want some Ugnaughts!!!! .

Done . I added the suggestion: "A "TRULY" 10 anniversary Star Wars set like the Naboo Royal Starship seen in Episode I." I just hope many people vote for this one .

WOW!!!!!!! When the first pic of the Pirate Tank was released I really like it but now it looks ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!!!!! Personally, I think this is one of the most beautiful designed sets in a while and I think everything looks so great. The piece count is great and the part selection magnificent , also the amount of details and greebling with such a reduced piece count is perfect. The minifigs are some of the most bizarre I have ever seen but I really like them . This set is surely at the top of my list with the Endor, Sep. Shuttle and Hoth sets.

I really love this new Mon Calamari Cruiser set . In my opinion the TLC really overdone themselves with this masterpiece . The minifig selection is one of the best I have ever seen in a set of any theme. The A-wing is awesome in it

How Many Minifigs do you own?
darkrebellion replied to Millacol88's topic in General LEGO Discussion
My Brickset account told me to have 252 minifigs registred but I don´t add sets that are not SW related so I think I have around 280 in total . I think that a fair amount considering I just collect SW . -
Maybe is a special pre-order for what could be the REAL 10th anniversary set that the TLC told us they will release (Or might release ) around October this year . If the real deal is this one then I would be very happy but if it´s is something else like a small discount on some sets or thing like that than it isn´t going to be all that exciting .

Secret lego fans
darkrebellion replied to Melbourne pirate fan '87's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Well I need to admit that collecting LEGO being a TFOL myself isn´t quite easy. My family support my hobby and sometimes they even tell me to buy a certain set cause it may look great in my exhibition room (AKA LEGO room ) or give me their opinion, so I think at least in "familiar" terms I am OK. With my friends the thing are a bit different. They don´t mind my hobby at all but they don´t really like to talk about it . When they come to my house they look and like my collection and that all . In school terms the things aren´t so easy . Most of the people at my school don´t think "collecting anything" is quite cool, actually they like a lot to just talk or critique someone else (Something I don´t find "cool" at all). So I don´t really mention I have this hobby so I just tell about it to "mature" people who doesn´t make fun of everything that doesn´t belong to their "cool" standards if anyone know what I mean . It isn´t accepted in my community at all too . Most of the time the people give you "looks" when they see you looking at the LEGO aisle instead of the "magazines" aisle . I don´t allow my hobby to really interfer with my social life as I have many friends and most of the time we hang out . -
Hi, after looking at some really interesting articles in wookieepedia I got the inspiration to post this topic and here is the premise . Which SW specie do you want to see in LEGO form??? Here are the "rules": - You can choose a totally new specie and a SW character from that specie. - You can choose a released specie and mention what improvement the TLC can do with it. For example, a new Gungan with smaller headpiece. Personally, I want a Gran minifigure but I especially want a Mawhonic minifig with his pod maybe in a new podracer set with three pods and one being the Mawhonic podracer.

Thanks for another amazing review . I don´t think this set is THAT bad but still not the best one . In my opinion the most accurate pod here is the Neva Kee´s one because even if it doesn´t look at all that great it looks good enough. Also I still don´t admit that the alien minifig here is Aldar Beedo. After all, they released the REAL Aldar Beedo too and I don´t think the TLC is THAT lazy to just throw a random minifig as a unique character. Remember that all the set must be approved by Lucasfilm and they always say that they like that the thing are the most accurate possible to their fictional counterparts.

Thanks for another amazing review Dunamis . Like in the case of many others this set still doesn´t grow up that much in me . The Dropship is simply beautiful but my problem is with the AT-OT. Why the TLC release such an incomplete vehicle? The model has A LOT of holes everywhere (One of the reasons many people dislike The Twilight) but to be more specific I DISLIKE the cockpit area (The sides) and the ramp . The sides of the cockpit look unfinished but the ramp looks like a joke from part of the designers. If you look at the pic of the actual vehicle the ramp still looks out of the walker but the sides of it are closed (The sides of the cockpit too) . Also the minifigs are simply because of the lazyness of the TLC. They know we will buy it for the vehicles so they throw some minifigs you can get apart for $20. This was the opportunity they have to include an Aayla Secura and a Bly and they just leave it pass . Don´t get me wrong I really like the set as a whole but still not justify the price point. Now I will wait for this to go in sale.

How did you like the Clone Wars TV series?
darkrebellion replied to kill will's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Well I just finish seen "Hostage Crisis" and it was great in my opinion . Here are the points that I think make this episode really great: - The episode is really mature unlike many others in the serie. - I like (Unlike many others ) how they manage to show the relationship between Anakin and Padme in a mature great. The kiss just adds to the scene but overall it shows everything they wanted to express in the scene. - The whole story is pretty well done and interesting. Sure it feels like a short episode but after all they need to work with a pretty limited time. - The apperance of Aurra Sing. - They kill at least a character in the whole episode . - And to end but not least is the first apperance of my actual favorite bounty hunter CAD BANE!!!! Wow when I saw the pic of this guy for the first time I started to miss Durge but now I change my mind completely . This is my favorite CW character to date and I just think Lucas reach the center of the target with this one. Awesome outfit, awesome voice, awesome attitude, awesome in everything . Now the thing I don´t like about this episode: - Very little apperance by part of Senate and Droid Commandos and the Senate Clones. I really love this episode and I hope the second season features a lot more of Cad Bane. Also I wish the TLC gives us a Cad Bane in the next 2010 wave (I am almost 100% sure they will do it or at least hope so). -
This set is really great in my opinion, thanks for the review . In my opinion this is another one that sparks cause of its originality respect the line. Is a pretty uncommon ship and they make a really good representation of it. A great set .

Great review . This is one of the few SW sets that actually broke the mold and become special (At least in my opinion) in the whole line. That because this is one of the very few civilian sets available in the SW line. The only other sets I can remember by now that are civilian themed are the Sandcrawler, Cloud City and Twin Pod Cloud Car.

REVIEW: 10195 Republic Dropship with AT-OT
darkrebellion replied to starstreak's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Finally!!! A 10195 review . The stickers look absolutely awesome in my opinion (I still can´t believe I like a STICKER sheet ) and the fact that it has numbered bags is really, REALLY great. It is always a pain to look for a small piece in around other 1700 pieces . -
Great review as usual , it is great that you are trying to fill most of the gaps in the Review Index . The more and more I remember sets like this, the more I want the TLC to stop giving us just BP and to get back in their roots to make cheap and great sets.

This new Visual Dictionary really looks better than I think . When I heard about this I think it will be something pretty random but seems like they do a great job. Also I can´t wait to see the exclusive minifig. I really want an Ep. IV Ceremonial Luke Skywalker but I will be happy if it is simply an EXCLUSIVE minifig and not just other minifigs parts put together or a fleshy update of an old Luke minifig. EDIT: Wow I just spotted the first mistake they make with this dictionary . If you zoom the pic enough you can clearily see that they call the Wookiee Warriror minifig "Chewbacca". I just hope they don
