Well I think he is just refering that the set is small cause it has an small piece count. I think the only ship the TLC is going to release is the Vader TIE cause it is included in a set that need that size. Otherwise we can call the Droid Gunship also mid-scale and the RAS and the Twilight and almost every SW set .

Anyone is wondering what are going to be the UCS sets and the Anniversary set (Remember the question where the TLC is asking to us of what we want as the Anniversary set expected to be released in October 2009? ) of this year?

Well I think they should include the clone pilots from the episode (Not the one that comes with the V-19). That ones with the grey, black and red clothes , that could be some really awesome minifigs .

Look at my Jabba Palace idea I posted a while ago : Jabba Palace : $299.99 - The Return of the Jedi Now, at this price point I think the TLC can release an amazing version of the Jabba Palace . It could include the main gate (Big one and with a detailed frame), the Throne Room with all the details some one can ask (Torches, greebling, secret trap floor, Jabba´s Throne, the thing with the amphibian Jabba´s food...), a small trophie room with Han Solo in carbonite (With this room I want a function like the one in the Darth Vader´s Transfomation set but this one with the carbonite Han in one side and the normal Han in the other ), the Max Rebo band place (With this I mean a kind of special brick with shape of a normal plate but with a small piece the plays one or two songs of the Max Rebo Band in the palace ), the small droid junkyard with a little crane and the final but not less important Rancor´s pit (We really need one with a few rock shaped brick walls, small fence door and main metal door. We also need a brick-built Rancor). Minifigs: Leia in bounty hunter disguise, Jabba the Hutt, Luke Skywalker (Jedi clothes), 2 gamorrean guards, Rancor´s Keeper, Oola dancer, Max Rebo, the long lips female alien (Singer of the Rebo band), Lando in guard disguise, Han Solo, Chewebacca, Salacious, Bib Fortune, C-3PO, R2-D2 and the droid of the droid junkyard, Boba Fett (With brick-built jetpack). Extras: A lightsaber, 4 blaster, band´s instruments, 2 or 3 axes, some boxes, an eskeleton for the Rancor´s pit, some spare bones, one of those tool rings. I think about it think it to be somewhat similar to the 10188 Death Star playset of this year.

Now that news are amazing , thanks a lot ForceMaster. The Hoth set sounds almost perfect but I just wish that they include something more "special" like a rebel commander (After all it couldn´t be so hard, the TLC just need to give the commander a senior face and maybe a little special mark in the clothes ). The Endor set sounds brilliant, maybe one of the best sets in the whole LSW history. Perfect minifig selection, sounds like the bunker will be well made, a new smaller AT-ST, sppeder bikes, catapult and some foliage . The Sep. Shuttle sounds like another amazing set. I wish they do Nute Gunray to look the same as a normal one and maybe we get Loathsome which could be amazing too . The Y-wing sounds the worst (But sounds great as a set alone) mainly cause the poor minifig selection, why we get another Ahsoka, Anakin and R2 ? Bad move TLC. Also ForceMaster, do Nute Gunray look both like a normal and CW styled minifig or looks just like a CW one? If the question sounds strange here are some examples: Plo Koon looks like both styles and Ahsoka looks like CW style.

Well I know the main public for the TLC are the kids but just think that all the other sets are almost identical to their ship partners. This one is somewhat growing in me but this is definitely not the best job of the TLC. Also I am starting to think this is fake just see the next points: - Why the TLC took a photo like this? Look it really looks very unprofessional in my opinion. The pics of the TLC have always been in a wjite background and with a well defined shadow. Also they are very neat and not blurry like this one. - The helmet of the Senate Commando is possibly this custom: Custom helmet. - Then we haven´t see very good made MOCs supposed to be real? Anyone remember that really well made photo of the Imperial Dropship that ended been a custom. - And why we can´t see the face of Palpy? It looks like he has the blonde hairpice poiting backwards and also those clothes seem to be the same as the Willie´s ones.

Well looking better at the pics I notice more bad points for this set: - The front angle looks very rise in my opinion (The angle created by the central red stripe) and that looks very out of place in my opinion . The ISD gets the perfect angle put the angle of this one is wrong. - In my opinion the trenche is very open (The ISD has also technic based trenches but they are a lor more hide) and what is that thing that appears to be build of two technic bins in the nearly front trench section? And for the interior what we can expect? In my opinion not much. Yeah it loooks like the TLC makes the set like this to include an elaborated interior but what they can include? A Palpy desk? A conference room? Another escape pod? Honestly I think we unfortunately will receive the classic escape pod and some conference room with an hologram table .

First thanks for the pic Legomilk . Well if this is real I really think this is a joke by part of the TLC . How can they do this to such a fantastic ship . It looks totally wrong in my opinion. Looks so fat and small . Also the minifig selection is . A CW Palpy, two simple Commandos and two random clones? How they can ruin a set with thatb possibilities and potential. And than the color scheme looks like crap . All of the bridge looks very unfinished with plates and plates throw to the sideas also the front part looks the same. And were are the engines? Now the TLC really ruined a set this time and worse a very awaited one . The Penguin can you confirm if this one is the same set you see in the trader catalog ?

Which designs KimT? Can you post a pic of them . And The Penguin, the clones look "real" or are their minifig versions?

Well, after looking at the episode preview of "Gungan General" I put me to think what we can expect from the rumored 7753 Pirate Tank set and end with the next idea: Maybe the TLC could make this set at the $59.99 price point so they can really squeez the potential of the set. They can include the tank seen in the preview and it could be of the size of the RFT we got this year. Than they can throw a nice speeder bike to complete the set. The minifigs potential is awesome. If the TLC do the things right than we might get the next minifigs in this set: A Pirate, the Pirate Commander, Jar Jar Binks, a Clone Trooper (Maybe with markings) and the little Kowakian Monkey Lizard of the commander in the style of the Rotta minifig of this year. Than we have a very decent minifig count with 5 different minifigs. Obiously this can be better if the TLC throw one additional Pirate but I will be happy if we get the first list .

Well I have a large story about my last buys so lets explain . I went from holidays the whole last week. I went to Arizona I can´t resist looking for some new sets. At the end I don´t found any SW 2009 set . I searched at every TRU and Target and every toy store and found ANY with the exception of the Assassin Droid Battlepack. But fortunately I found some good discounts in other sets I didn´t own yet . First I buy this two impulse sets from TRU: - 8396 Soldier´s Arsenal - 8397 Pirate Survival Both at $6.39 at the totally ripoff TRU prices . Then I went to the Lego Store and purchased this: - 10186 General Grevious at $44.99 - Luke Exclusive Maquette at $19.99 - 3 Keychains (Plo Koon, Asajj Ventress and Rebel Trooper) at $3.49 each - 3 Charmabags (Landspeeder, Slave I and Vader TIE) at $2.49 each - Brick Separate thing at $1.89 - 8015 Assassin Droid Battlepack at $9.99 So I think I left the store with some very good deals but than I visit another TRU and decide to buy the next: - 7680 The Twilight at $69.99 and at the end of the trip I buy this: - 6240 Kraken Attackin at $11.99. Again TRU elevate prices . At the end I feel I make some great purchases .

Well maybe your are correct in this Oky Wan Kenobi and "Gungan General" could be great but to be honest this episode have great potential and they just ruined it. I really like "Downfall of a Droid" because it was a good episode, good battle sequence, than the way that R6 sabotiage Anakin is great and in my opinion one of the coolest episodes if it can´t enter in the "bests" categories . EDIT: Sorry for the mistake I correct it.

I saw "Dooku Captured" and I need to say that I am dissapointed . First the episode begins good with a fairly good argument and some nice action sequences. But how Anakin is captured and we don´t know it until now ? I mean the prologe sounds like he was captured by days even weeks and we don´t have an episode featuring how he gets captured? Bad move writters, bad move . Than we have the crash sequence. How bad it looks the landing of the separatist shuttle . It could be a lot more violent (In the crash way, I don´t mean that it needs to have blood or something like that but at least the ship could get a bit more damange). Than the cave part is very dumb . Dooku pull the rock over Anakin and where is Obi? Than the pirates are the best part of the episode cause they are well... like the pirates . I really like how the pirate leader own a red and green Kowakian Monkey Lizard as the tipical parrot in his shoulder (That surely was the best detail in the episode). Than we see the fight against an starnge monster in the cave that is surely boring and bad done and some toxic gas to make the scene even worse . Later comes the worst part... the flying saucer sequence!!! WHAT IS THIS? A flying saucer in SW ? Yeah it was a flying saucer that escapes from the classic UFO series . It even include the classic lights . With the talented art designers they have to their hand they decide to made some crappy UFO instead of an awesome new ship for the pirates . Than we see that boring talky part to end with the episode. The bar sequences were good but nothing that great. At the end this episode finish being like "Destroying the Malevolence" a good argument but so bad developed episode . "Gungan General" sounds like a cool episode that hopefully will be great .

I was from vacations the whole week and I don´t carried my laptop with me so I just found this news and I will comment in every set : Separatist Shuttle: So far sounds like one of the best sets including the Endor and Home One sets to be incredible minifig-wise . The BD are common but a new Nute Gunray and Oncconda minifigs sound awesome . Nute Gunray is a minifig that could perfectly fit in both CW and common style something about I am very happy and having a senate guy minifig is awesome especially if he is of an strange specie . Venator: This set sounds a little bit dissapointing in all the ways . First that it is supposed to be smaller than the ISD which is dissapointing considering that this ship is a lot more difficult to get by its shape. I doubt it would include something really cool as interior and minifig-wise it is . I know having a new Palpy is great but owning the CW styled first is really wrong . The Senate Commandos sound a look cool (At least in the comic) but they aren´t all that awesome. To end just two more generic clones? C´mon that sounds horrible . Tank Droid: Sounds like a very cool little set and minifig-wise is good but not great . Two new troopers are great but I would prefer something different. Endor: MAGNIFICENT , just magnificent. Sounds great in all the ways. Great to have a bunker and a smaller AT-ST. The minifigs sound great and having some new ones is great. Apparently new ewoks, new Endor troops and some cool Han and Leia in different outfits are always welcome. I will wait for info and pics to make a whole jugment but so far the sets sound great apart form the Venator .

I just finish of saw "Lair of Grievous" and I need to say that is amazingly good . I read some previous reviews and all of them said that the episode was so-so and that it as a whole doesn´t stand so good but in my opinion is one of the best yet . The whole dark atmosphere is always good and the writers really known how to capture the enclose feeling cause it really rise the the scare feeling a lot . Also how Grievous is put to test is great. The death of Nahdar Vebb isn´t a surprise cause since the episode start he just was somewhat hungry of revenge and power but I like the way they kill him , very creative that one is one I didn´t saw coming . My favorite part is the duel against the roggwart Gor . The battle was great in all aspect and is the only truly surprise in the episode (I really don´t saw coming that part ). The true surprise was when Grievous activate his cam to see if Gor finished "playing" with the jedis and just found that Gor was death and he express sadness (Something I never see in Grievous before) and angryness against Dooku . Great episode and finally we reach the "normal" schedule in the list of episodes aired and the next episode is "Dooku Captured" the same as the US. Now I can´t wait to see the next one .

Awesome find and MOC darthperson . Well it almost looks minifig scale but it seems like the cockpit is a little bit too big and the engines a little bit too small (And yeah I saw the comparision pic and it looks the same like jow I am describing it ). Also I am happy with the TLC version of this ship. Sure the color looks somewhat wrong but it still looks great. Also I prefer by far that the TLC release this ship in this size cause I think it makes a better medium set than a $150 one .

Well great review millacol88 . Well I don´t think this set is that bad in my opinion . The overall fighter looks fantastic to me maybe cause I the CIS army vehicles (Even more than the republic ones ). The minifigs are cool nothing that interesting but still a new kind of droid is welcome . The stickers are really needed in this model in my opinion cuase without them it just looks very simple. Also the other head doesn´t move cause I think is the sensor computer so it needs another "head" to be included in the fighter and I think the purple planet is Toydaria as seen in the first episode of the show .

I totally agree with you Klaus Dieter. I think the TLC is going throught the easy way here giving us another Hoth Han . A totally new Hoth Luke would be perfect but maybe a bit too much for the TLC to include the new Taun Taun mold and new look in it (But it was still possible ). So the other perfect option would be a Hoth Rebel Commander like you said. We really need some kind of commander for the troops not just Han, Leia and Luke again and again . So this is a bit dissapointing I need to said, but still having a new Taun Taun is awesome. Now we just need to wait that the TLC decide that the UCS style set for 2009 will be a Jabba Palace like the new 10188 with a new brick-build Rancor with a molded head and I will be happy (Especially if the Rancor have a empty belly so he can eat all those poor Gamorrean Guards )

Well this sounds and look great Bossk . I think a Geonosis diorama is a good idea and I will wait to see how this all ends . I think your AT-TE is awesome but a little bit big for your diorama. I don´t mean that the clones look really small compared but it really occupied space. I can´t see how you will put two 4481 in it. Maybe if you get the new AT-TE and 2 or 3 7670 sets it would look more proportioned. I also recommend to add some rock foliage in the scene where the clones can hide during the battle and some injuried clones as well. Also some destroyed droids in the battlefield could be a good idea. If you have some Jedis I suggest you to add 1 or 2 of them so the battle will look more like the Geonosis Battle. So far is going pretty good. Good job .

I think Kit Fisto looks awesome in the way it is actually. I think if the TLC decide to do a CW version they are just going to waste the opportunity to bring us any other jedi that look the same in CW form and in normal form (Like Plo Koon ). I don´t know which one but I don´t want a totally new jedi in CW form than the normal one (There is no problem with Plo cause he looks the sam here as in the movie or at least in minifig form. I don´t care either for jedis such as Ahsoka or dark jedis like Asajj cause we never saw them in the movies so it´s OK with me). I think the choose by the TLC of release for the first time the Palpatune minifig in CW style is such a big problem cause we haven´t got yet the normal one and this character is very important in the movies .

Well that pics looks authentic to me , thanks very much KimT . The fact that it was taken down from Brickshelf just make it look more authentic also like darthperson mentioned. Also this are the reason why I think this is authentic: - It has a Hoth background. - Comes with the rumored Hoth Han. - Looks pretty solid and not like a custom (I know there are some customs with extreme accuracy and that look like a real thing but they are just a few). - Also the way the blaster is attached looks something that the TLC will do (I think that the persons that make customs would prefer to put some kind of cargo bag instead of just put the blaster with a brick supporting it).

Some new pics of the 8019 Republic Attack Shuttle : Shuttle pics This pics really make this set look beautiful , now this seems like a must buy for me. Even first than the AAT . Also I like how the colors are quite different from the common red and white . Also the the size is pretty good for this set (I know the actual one is triple the big of this one but I prefer to own this one like this than like a big $100 set .

Well looking at the pic I really start to like the new Senate Commandos but the only BIG dissapointment in the next Venator if the rumors are true is that the Palpy minifig is going to be CW . I am OK with the release of certain characters in CW look, like Obi and Anakin and also I don´t care a lot for characters taht are not released in normal form but are just showed in the cartoon like Ahsoka and Asajj. I don´t care by Dooku that much in CW style cause the TLC released one normal in yellow (Even with this I still hope for a Geonosis Arena set with Dooku and Jango in it ) but Palpatine is totally new and is CW style . I would prefer by far a normal Palpy first but this one looks like his face gets desfigured even years before the battle with Mace . Still the commandos are good but I hope that the Venator include more than 5 minifigs cause such a big set will look empty with just 5 minifigs as crew .
