OMG!!! (Sorry if the expression is inappropiate or something ) this are just awesome . Just look at that beautiful sets. The Endor set reveals to have a DS trooper after all and next I will comment in the sets: CIS Tank Droid: Simply beautiful ! They really improve the design and now it looks almost the same as the real deal. The minifigs are common although something that dissapoints me but the tank is totally great . Separatist Shuttle: AWESOME! I can´t believe how good is the design with such an small piece count ! The ship looks great one of the best CW vehicles I have seen so far. The minifigs look great at the least too. Echo Base: Nothing we haven´t seen here but still an awesome pack ! Anakin Y-wing: This is pure CRAP! The design is very, VERY bulky to say the least . The minifigs are too. The sleekness of this ship is just lost here. Very bad job TLC . Battle of Endor: Again nothing new apart from the now visible DS Trooper ! The set still AWESOME. Venator: What they do with the incredible prelim design? This now looks just so "plain" . The ship could open from the front also and the minifigs look OK. Thanks for the found CloneMe . Apart from that horrible Y-wing all of them are great .

Personally I wish for a good made CW game. The best lego game yet is in my opinion "Lego Star Wars: The Videogame" which is truly enjoying and rather simple which is a cool concept (Also I love how the extra RBR mini set ).

This new footage looks very promising for the next reasons: -First of all, AWESOME cutscenes . - Looks like this one actually has an interesting story. - The graphics and gameplay look great. - To me this one looks like a fusion between TFU, Rogue Squadron and the las two Battlefronts which is great . - Now I have order a PS3 so I can actually buy it (The last ones doesn´t appear in the nintendo home consoles and I don´t like games for the PC ).

I also got the Blu-ray version . I got the Target Limited Edition Version . I also think the character sometimes look thin but not that much so I am not so afraid of it.

Well now this is just my theory but what about if this battlepack vehciles ARE canon? If you have read some of the interviews with the SW design team and with the guys from lucasfilms licencse terms you can see that they try to give the kids the more CANON thing they can. I think this vehicles are canon but not appear in the movies or shows just cause they are like minor contenders to the big gallery of ships and vehicles they own they can´t choose poor ones like the ones included in the battlepacks .

Well now more calm down I can post some of m y dislikes about this new OT sets : Echo Base: Well this is a very good set but looking better at it I don´t think it is that great . First the Han minifig really annoys me just like to Klaus Dieter. The TLC could have thrown a new Hoth Captain for this set and I think that could have been even cheaper . Then the trench isn´t really what you could call a "TRENCH". To me it looks like a mount of snow in somewhere in middle of the battle. The other minifigs, the turret and the new Taun Taun are great and awesome . Battle of Endor: This set is personally a dream come true to me . We received more than we expect and even with that everything there is awesome nearly flawless. The only thing that I want the TLC change is the plain orange color of the wing of the Ewok Glider (They just look so prelim to me ). Other then that this set is by far one of the best OT sets to date. Also anyone has noted that the back of the bunker looks open? I don´t mean open just cause it has a big hole but thi9s is maybe some space the TLC leave cause they maybe produce an Endor landing platform you just can "connect" in that space . It isn´t impossible considering we don´t know the UCS sets of the year yet and just looking at the DS we got the last one and that this is with the Ewok Village a very wanted set I think there are big possibilities .

Personally I am happy that the TLC decide to give us again some more sets variety . The last year was just CW so many OT and PT fans (Including me) were a bit dissapointed with the assortment. I think this year looks by far a lot better with what look like some of the best sets of the LSW history . Just look what we know so far (Venator, Endor Battle and Hoth set) and we still have lots to see (The other half of the summer line-up and the UCS sets).

Also if anyone hasn´t note it yet , the TLC give the Endor Rebel Troopers different skin color (Which makes note that the Rebel Alliance is very plural ).

This look AWESOME , thanks for the pics Morgan19 . Now this are just so amazing to believe. The Hoth set looks very good and finally the totally new TAUN TAUN and the build looks somewhat simple but yet effective. Now on the big one, that Endor set looks tons better than I think it would look like. It looks very complete and the number of minifigs is just amazing for a set of it´s size. That AT-ST looks a lot better than the last one and we get a complete Bunker after all ! Also anyone has noted that Ewok Chief under the AT-ST leg? In my opinion the best minifig of the set . Yeah this looks like a promising year and the pics look really preliminary so maybe they change some issues (Like the orange wings of the Ewok Glider ). I am very, VERY happy. New Yub Yubs ON!!!!!!

Well I just want that the TLC change the battlepack concept that they have right now . I really prefer a REAL vehicle-laser-ship than a poorly invented one. What about the next ideas: Ewok Glider : $12.99 - RotJ Comes with a small and better designed Ewok Glider in brown color. Minifigs: 2 Ewoks AKA "yub yubs" (Re-colored!) and an Endor Rebel Trooper (Possible new but probably comes with the rumored Endor set). Extras: Bow and a few small pieces that represent the rocks threw by the Glider. Speeder Bikes : $12.99 - RotJ Comes with two new Speeder Bikes (Almost the same as the RGS one). Minifigs: 2 Scout Troopers and a Stormtrooper. Extras: 3 blasters. Battle Droid Carrier : $12.99 - TMP Comes with a totally new redesigned Battle Droid Carrier (A want it similar two the old version, no the new one). Minifigs: 3 Battle Droids and a Droideka. Extras: 3 blasters. Gungan Battlefront : $9.99 - TMP I know almost everyone hates Jar Jar and maybe the whole Gungan specie but I think a new version of the Gungans is really needed. It comes with a new colored Kaduu and it carries one of those things were they contain the boomas. Minifigs: One Gungan Rider and 3 normal Gungan Soldiers (Re-colored!). Extras: 3 cestas and 3 deflector shields. Gian Speeder : $12.99 - TMP Comes with a totally new Gian Speeder in a sand blue color. Minifigs: 3 Royal Naboo Security Guards (New minifig!). Extras: 3 blasters. Atgar Cannon : $12.99 - ESB Comes with a good brick-build Atgar Cannon with some snow SNOT around it. Minifigs: 2 Hoth Rebel Troopers and a Hoth Rebel Commander (New minifg!). Extras: 3 blasters. Hoth Imperial Reinforcements : $12.99 - ESB Comes with a white colored Speeder Bike (Almost the same as te RGS one) and a new better build E-web Cannon. Minifigs: 2 Snowtroopers and an Imperial Commander (New minifg!). Extras: 3 blasters. Geonosian Ion Cannon : $12.99 - AOTC Comes with a new re-designed Ion Cannon similar to the one that comes with the Geonosian Fighter. Minifigs: A Geonosian Soldier and 2 Geonosis Battle Droids. Extras: 3 blasters. This are all the ideas I have now I will post more if I think in another one .

Thanks a lot for the link to the webcomic Oky Wan Kenobi . Now this makes a lot more sense . I think that webcomics shouldn´t be important in the development of the episodes . Just think about how many people don´t understand "Gungan General" just cause they decide to explain a main plot detail of the episode in a webcomic .

Well as a long time collector I have collected somewhat a large amount of "box history" and I need to admit I miss the good old days . Back to 1999-2003 we saw many cool box sizes but I especially love the boz size of sets as "Lightsaber Duel" or "Droid Fighter" sets. I also like the box size of sets like the "Geonosian Fighter" too .

Thanks for the very detailed review WhiteFang . I think this set is very cool, especially cause of that amazing new Clone Gunner. I just this new clone. I think the vehicle is pretty nice but totally not compared to the awesomeness of the speeder bike that comes with the AD BP. I think the AD BP is very underrated and in fact I think is a better overall battlepack cause it includes a fair number of minifigs and it has definitely the best vehicle that ever comes with a battlepack.

Personally I prefer the small window piece . The other one is too bulky and very difficult to get the correct shape with that too. In the other side the small one can do for an small escape pod that can perfectly fit in the Venator. Also I don´t think the TLC would put something like a conference room cause that would be a bit boring for kids but an escape pod would be perfect for them cause they (And we ) can swoosh it around and around when got it .

Well now that a great idea Darth Legolas . I think an escape pod like that would be great in all aspects cause it is actually real (Not like the one in the ISD and the MF which are totally false), also it is a great looking "ship" . I really don

I just finish of seeing "Gungan General" and I need to say that it was a fairly good episode . I really think this is a good episode but surely not reach the leagues of "Lair of Grevious", "Cloack of Darkness" and "Duel of the Droids" which are the best ones yet in my opinion. The way they must try to escape with Dooku is good and I like too see some new planet landscape (I especially like the detail that the geisers throw acid ). The way the pirates betray each others shows the true nature of them. The speeder bikes and the tank are also cool but I wish they would have a bit more action. The way they escape three times is pretty funny cause if you start to think about it, it is somewhat funny that TWO JEDI KNIGHTS and ONE LORD SITH can´t escape from a bunch of pirates. Then there were that amazing IJ references. I think the stick-thing of Ra is the most notable but unfortunately I couldn´t found the supposed "ark" anywhere in the episode. Finally after all Jar Jar isn´t so irritating and is somewhat more intelligent in this episode. Now I can critic the bad things the episode have. First was the fact that Obi and Anakin actually GET poisoned even if the last episode show us that they change their cups with other pirates , what a BIG MESS they do with the story? Then the really undeveloped senator character. C´mon, that guy nearly said two phrases. I don´t like the fact that they kill almost every new character they introduce to the series in the same episode . Then Jar Jar didn´t felt so worry when HIS friend dead. He just said a bunch of nearly non-sense words but didn´t express any feeling of sadness. I don´t like the fact that the episode ends with actually NO complot against the Jedis by part of Dooku and all this after Dave Filioni said in the episode commentary of "Dooku Captured" that maybe the ease of the capture of Dooku is part of his BIG plan but at the end he just escapes (The cool part was when he use force choke in a pirate ). At the end a pretty good episode with some great flaws but looking at the positive side we are just a few days to the premiere of an episode with Aayla Secura, yeas I am talking about "Jedi Crash" .

Maybe you don´t own the version of TFU were it appears. It only appears in the Wii version in a special level where you go to rescue one of the members of the senate who creates the rebel alliance cause he is captured by mandalorians (Personally this is my favorite levelof the game and the best boss after Darth Vader )

Amazing MOC Mr. Mandalorian . The MOC is simply and amazing beautiful and to be honest an almost perfect incarnation of this difficult to get vehicle . The SNOT is great and amazing and really adds a beautiful aspect to the look of the MOC. Maybe if you have enough pieces you can build the Basilisk War Droid of Chopp´aa of TFU and make a custom minifig for him . Great MOC .

Well, in my opinion 2008 was a year for both surprises and dissapointments . The SW line is the best example to explain this situation. I collect just SW and I think everything is cool but I admit I really, really like the AMCC but even with that it isn´t my favorite . So my favorite set is the.... 7672 ROGUE SHADOW !!!! In my opinion is a very underrated set . I think is the most swooshable ship I ever carried in a long, long time . The ship is extremely strong and the whole design is superb (I really like the uniqueness of this ship and the different wing gives it an unrepetitive build. The color scheme is great also. Then the minifigs are just amazingly beautiful . The Vader´s Apprentice is my favorite 2008 minifig cause he is just awesome (Amazing torso, amazing detail, amazing minifig ), then the Battle Damanged Darth Vader and I need to said that it is a just plain awesome minifig (Exceptional detail and my second favorite minifig of the year) and finally is that lovely Juno Eclipse minifig, with the lack of female SW minifigs this is a really good one, well done TLC. And finally but less important maybe is the fact that is maybe the most near thing to an OT set this year (I know the 10188 but it is just so way expensive). The 7679 Republic Fighter Tank is my second favorite . My least favorite set of this year must be the... 7884 Batman's Buggy: The Escape of Mr. Freeze NOO!!! My eyes they are burning by the ugliness of the set . C´mon TLC this is just a a plain ugly bag of crap . The whole set is a trash throw in a lego box. The minifigs are passables but not all that exciting. Then the buggy is ugly designed and looks bad. The Mr. Freeze vehicle is very ugly too and the pieces aren´t that exciting. Just an ugly set .

I think that would be a very interesting idea but to be honest I prefer they leave the CW out of the game. If they put the CW there, then there is a very BIG possibility that many kids vote CW cause they are excited by the TV show. To me any PT or OT will do for me but I need to admit I am certainly happy that the Home One won over the Palpy Arrest (I have waited for an Ackbar since I start collecting )

Thanks a lot for the awesome review Nannan . I think this set is very good even if it doesn´t have the actual "sail" it is supposed to have. The minifigs are great especially that awesome Count Dooku (For some reason I think is the best looking CW minifig and it actually looks very good in CW style ). The design looks sleek a lot more than people thought when the first pic showed up. The only think that is worng is the price tag . C´mon TLC 60 bucks for just a little more of 300 pieces ? Even with Dooku and been exclusive deserves that price tag . I will get this set cause I am a collector but I certainly like it (Maybe the best set from the January-February wave). I just suggest to add pics of the minifigs (I especially want to look a close up of the Dooku minifig (If you get a front and a back shot then that even better ).

Well my minifigure wishlist without exaggerate for the rumored 7753 Pirate Tank is the next one: - Jar Jar (I know I am getting crazy , but I really want a more detailed Jar Jar. - Hondo Ohkana - Pirate - Clone Trooper (With markings) - The Hondo´s Kowakian Monkey Lizard (Just think about it another small creature for the LSW universe and could be also used as Salacious Crumb in a Jabba Palace set ) With this minifigs I am done but I surely hope they include at least 2 pirates.

Another amazing job SirNadroj . I think this is really one of the most beautiful Pirates MOC I have ever seen. Then your originality always impress me, a Whale Hunter!!! I have ever seen a MOC of such a ship and now you brought it to life with spectacular results. The whale is superb and the little details as the Polar Bear and the icebergs around the place really seems to have your work signature . Congrats , really you are one of the best MOCers I know . I can make just a little request? Can you take a pic of the net detail.
