I don´t know what to think about this new Rebel Blockade Runner . It doesn´t look bad but not great at all , here are my complains: - Looks to much like the Republic Cruiser in the mid-section . I thought we will receive a mid-structure like that one in the first RBR but with interior . - The cockpit area looks weird to me for some reason. Maybe is that the "red" colored sections of it look like chrome red . - It looks pretty small also, this is the same reason I dislike the new Venator , I thought they will solve that "issue" for the RBR but it seems like they don´t . - My biggest complain is for the engine area, it doesn´t looks even close to the real thing . Far too small and undetalied I like the first RBR engine section a lot more. - It doesn´t looks even $150 and the TLC will almost charge us $250+ for it . At this stage it looks like a let down to me but I will wait to see more pics to judge it.

Yeah maybe you are right . But speculate is always the fun part of receiving SWL news . And the blue pants guy is that one in the left down corner of the left box.

FINALLY!!!! Some 2010 sets news . Now this are some really interesting pics. In one hand they look almost certainly like battlepacks for their box size but after looking at the pics again I note something. The battlepacks are supposed to be conformed by generic characters that appear as multiples in the movies/shows/videogames SW related. If anyone look at the box of the left they appear to be two non-generic minifigs, the orange dressed one (Could possible be a Rebel Pilot but who knows ) and the most interesting the one that has blue pants and tan coat, I don´t remember in either the "Tresspass" episode or ESB movie any generic soldier with that outfit so maybe could this be the return of the SMALL sets instead of BP??? I think the chances are pretty good but after all this are just speculations of my part. The box in the right in the other hand LOOKS like an Hoth Imperial BP because of the apparent assortment of 4-5 Snowtroopers and what seems to be a Speeder Bike and because of this my theory now has more against itself .

Simply amazing . Really, I wasn´t expecting such good quality even if I know how DK Books commnoly are. I really like how they manage to put a comphresive description of all the sets and also great quality images. Also that awesome Luke minifig is a plus .

Personally, if Bay don´t return for the third film I will understand it. That could change the whole feel of the third one and maybe they can get the film right again (I love the first one but can´t get over the second one). A new director like Zack Snyder could make great thing for this films mainly because he can add that mature touch I like in the movies (With this I don´t mean I want any kind of sex scene or such but that I want a more mature plot and storyline).

I just finish of saw Transformers:ROTF a couple of hours ago and I feel the need to comment on it for some reason . Well, first things first so I am going to start with my overall impressions of the film: To be honest I really entered to see this film with an open mind and hoping the best for it cause it WAS my most anticipated movie this year and I need to admit I went out of the theater dissapointed . I will not spoil any part to anyone so I will not comment in specific scenes but rather as a whole thing. My first complain needs to go with the character development , I wasn´t really expecting an Oscar quality plot of any kind but really Bay focused too much in the action sequence and very little in the development of the characters. You barely see any of the new autobots or decepticons developed and what is worse is that they lose track of some of the characters that the last film established . I also don

Well... I don´t think this set looks SO GREAT but looks pretty cool. What I mean is that it actually is a great set and seems like the TLC really put ome effort in this one but doesn´t looks as amazing and innovative as CC or GG. To me the overall shape of it seems way too blocky, the detais are good but for some reason they don´t look as good on it as they looked in CC and GG. Also for some reason I was expecting a bulding of other "color" if you know what I mean. CC is color red, GG is color green, MS is color blue, after all this different color selection they return to red and tan??? Because of this I think the building don´t look as goos as it may looked in other color.

In my opinion SPIII ha In my opinion SPIII has some really great alien minifigs but I need to go with SW on this one. Sure the aliens in space police are of starnge colors and goood looking but overall the "specialized" headpieces in SW are more detailed . Juts take a look at the Greedo or Kit Fisto headpieces and they have a superb detail and also some cool colors also we need to remember those alien minifigs that doesn´t have a new "mold" for the head but are very detailed too like thge new Nute Gunray and the pirates minifigs. The SW theme have a LOT of "species" too , jus take a look at how many species we got: - Geonosians - Weequay - Rodians - Mon Clamari - Neimodian - Hutts - Ten Numb - Kit Fisto - Assaj Ventress - Plo Koon - Watto - Sebulba - Aldar Beedo This are just some of them cuase I think I missed a few . So yeah in my opinion the overall SW theme have more and cooler aliens but remember it is just my opinion.

Wow I don´t think it was all that shorter . I am really thinking of skiping this set now looking at the minifig selection and the whole set itself, it just look unfinished to me for some reason.

Really good topic and I need to say that I have the exact same dillemia . Me like you start to lose interest in collecting EVERYTHING with the apperance of the CW sets . I like the series but for some reasons the sets just doesn´t interest me like the ones from the movies . Also I am starting to think if collecting everything is really neccesary . And to finish the "likeness points" of your and my dillemia, I am also getting more interested in MOCing, I have never been a MOCer but looking at how many great contests are out there and at some really good MOCs of great MOCers like SirNadroj I am interested in start been a serious MOCer myself. I also have another reasons to start just buying sets I like instead of every set out there. Since I get my PS3 I started to take the hobby of been a gamer seriously and start to invert a good part of my money in games . With this new hobby just starting I can´t afford every LSW set so I need to start buying the ones I like. So yes, I think your points are really valid and also agree with them .

Thanks for the great review . I really love this set, it looks great designed also and I have and special attraction to non war oriented ships of SW , maybe its beacuse we rarely see one in the common LSW line-up . The Nute Gunray minifig is maybe the most beautiful one of this year together with the totally new Admiral Ackbar . This is the set I am most looking foward to get together with the Endor one and the Pirate Tank .

Really cool . I like the comic and I really laugh at the part of Treebeard vs Technic . I don´t mind the mess as you said it is supposed to be like that but you can organize a little more your next comic location .

WOW!!!! Those MOCs are great . I really love the first two but the third looks somewhat too "thin" in the wing are but it is still pretty good. My personal favorite is the first one because of all the detail you manage to put on it but my favorite DETAIL is how you use that "cockpit" pieces to make the cockpit of the second one, great idea and it is the best cockpit I have ever seen (Or at least from the "glass" point of view ).

Great entries The Penguin . My only suggestion is that maybe you can add a little more detail to the Octoputurra model mainly in the middle section of the legs and in the head. Mu suggestion is that you can add some "weapons" in the legs and somde detailed "rings" around the head but you can still conserve the overall actual shape cuase it is great designed .

Thanks for the review mania3 . I think this set is neat and and seems like a reasonable buy after some other purchases I most do before this one . The pieces are really cool but the build seems very lame . Also, I am the only one here that imagine a big Rancor in place of the Crystal King, a Luke and a Gamorrean Guard in place of the two miner minifigs and a 10 anniversary SW logo in the corner in place of the PM one when you see the boxart ???

I need to disagree with you on this one Oky Wan Kenobi . Even if it is a cartoony game I think all in it could look better. Just take for example games like Super Mario Galaxy or Ratchet and Clank : Tools of Destruction, both are "cartoony" games but they look great becuase of the sharp textures and the well animated actions of the character but in this game both things are missing . Finally, I need to agree with you that meanwhile a game is entertaining graphics are not everything but personally I think that the designers could have done a better job with this one.

"I have a bad feeling about this..." . No really, in another case I would be conformed with what we receive (If it is for the Wii which can´t support very good graphics but great gameplay) but to me this looks really lame. I am not a "graphicholic" kind of guy but if this is the best they can do with the PS3 and 360 version then I am going to be really disappointed . C´mon TFU in the PS3 looks absolutely amazing, in fact one of the best graphics I have seen in a videogame so far. With a good plot this could be good but honestly it doesn´t even seem to have an established plot at all . This maybe will worth a rent but not a purchase in my opinion.

Amazing minifig and speeder bike MOCs ADHO15. Iespecially like that Jedi it has something awesome about it or maybe is just my love to this alien species from SW represented in a minifig . The speeder is awesome too, I like the details you add with the "spikes" that come out from the sides of the speeder .

Wow!!!! Great first review mania3 . I really like this set. In fact, is my favorite of all the new Agents 2.0 line . The mech looks very cool and also I like how it looks so sloppy . Also I am surprised how another theme opposite to LEGO City can give us better CITIZENS than the proper CITY theme , I really love that "Hawaian" Shirt guy . This is how the TLC must do their sets .

Personally I think the best console ever is the mighty N64 , but if we are talking about only current or next-gen console is a little harder . I own both Wii and PlayStation 3 and I like them equally in some aspects. The Wii in one hand has superb first party titles but all the others are somewhat dissapointing. The PS3 in another hand has some really great first party titles and most of the third party ones are in the worst case just entertaining. I think I need to go with the PS3 with this one , I am currently beating Dead Space and Uncharted and they are great but the thing that will make the PS3 an unstoppable machine is a game that is going to rock... yeah I am talking about God of War 3 .

To be honest I prefer some totally new minifigs instead of some rare minifigs but if they include either a chrome Vader or C-3PO I am not going to complain .

It is graet that the other exclusive set is OT and not CW related but I must admit I am in a "like it/not like it" way with the fact it is going to be the Rebel Blockade Runner . From ship terms I am extremely excited cause I always wanted a RBR but couldn´t get it when it was out . But minifig-wise, I think this isn´t going to be great . Just think about it, the only possible new minifig I could imagine from this set is Capt. Antilles and he isn´t so spectacular at all (A Rebel Trooper with orange shirt ) and that somehow left me undecided . I will buy it for sure but in minifig-terms I don´t think we will get such a big deal .

It is $40 for a whole year suscription but in my opinion it isn´t so much considering the 6 sets you receive cost like $10-$20 each in eBay or Bricklink .

I don´t live in the US but I have a Brickmaster suscription (The great part of having family that live in the US ) and I think that it is pretty cool. Before the licensed sets were produced I don´t like it mainly because most of those sets aren´t very good and also the fact that I just collect SW. Now that it has some really good licensed (Especially, the SW ones ) I think it is a great deal. The magazine itself is cool and the fact that some of them have a SW related cover is also a plus .
