Amazing technique cole . Of all the attemps I have seen that try to capture a Force power this is by far the best . The whole diorama looks incredible and it looks very realistic. Keep up the great work .

These new promo sets are looking pretty neat in my opinion . The best one is definitely the STAP but mainly because I HAVE SEEN IT in a SW movie/comic/book. The other two look good but I still can´t understand why the TLC can´t produce REAL SW ships, I mean, c´mon there are plenty of small vehicles in SW like the Swoop Bikes . There are a lot of possibilities and they just keep throwing us this kind of invented stuff.

Personally I prefer Marvel over DC . I really like the backstories and characters from the Marvel universe plus the outfits of the characters of Mavel are a lot more colorful and have more minifig potential than most DC characters. Also if the TLC make some sets with brickbuild characters like Fing Fang Foe or Galactus I will definitely buy them .

Thanks for the news rockinkurt13 and for the rumor Joshua Hetzler . If the Palpatine Shuttle is Episode 3 and most of this sets are Episode 3 oriented they will be MUST buys for me. Also that Malevolance looks actually really like an actual set maybe a new midi-scale Malevolance is coming our way .

Thanks for the news rockinhurt13 . To be honest I really can´t understand why the TLC is going the cheaper way more and more nowadays. C´mon TLC you already have a PRINTED Han Solo in Carbonite why give us one with stickers !!!!! The Slave I sounds promising, can´t wait to see some prelim pics.

Even if I am really a collector of the LSW line I like to open ALL my sets . I never really understand why I should pay $100 for a big box that will be sitting in my shelf, what is fun about that? I collect LSW becuase I actually LIKE BUILDING my sets . I know that when you open a box it somehow lose some of it´s value but I keep all my boxes in a safe please with nearly any damage at all on them . I like to display my sets and I know it would be very boring if I just display the "boxes" of my sets in the shelfs instead of the real thing. I actually own a whole room for my collection and nearly every person that visits my house like to "take a look" at the room so that another reason to "open" them.

Well I don´t mean that EVERYONE hated Watchmen but most people I KNOW in person don´t really got it at all. I think just 3 persons (Including me of course) that I know actually "understand" the whole movie. Most of them got bored half the way or simply don´t got it at all. So that why I put it in my list . And The Lost World isn´t JP3 , it is the second one. I also don´t like JP3 at all. The whole movie really lose a lot of the vibe that make the first 2 successful and the dinosaur effect just got silly in my opinion. The plot was quiet boring and the acting was just passable.

Here is my list of movies I love but most people hate : Watchmen: In my opinion the best 2009 movie so far. I just love it so much . The acting was great in my opinion especially the performances of Roscharch and Nite Owl. The plot was incredibly well done, the special effects were great and the music perfect. The Lost World: I still can´t understnad why so many people hate the JP sequel. The plot wasn´t the best one either the acting but the whole movie is one of the best blockbusters I have ever seen. Indiana Jones: KOTCS: In my opinion definitely not better than the first ones but still an awesome installment of the Indy franchise. I don´t know why so many people hate the fact the movie included aliens but I think it was mainly for ignorance because just a few actually knew about the Crystral Skulls before the movie premiered. In the legend of the Crystal Skulls one of the best theories where that ALIENS build them so I perfectly understand why they include them. I also think the hate for this movie comes from the hate people have against George Lucas. I don´t really understand what he does wrong apart from not making the PT AS GREAT AS THE OT . Star Wars Prequels: Even if I don´t think they are exactly what I call a "Great movie" I really enjoyed them. Sure they have some "flaws" but they were really interesting and took a new generation to the best movie saga in history. The story of TPM and AOTC was a bit hole filled but ROTS was really good. A concisious plot with some average performances and an awesome way to end the saga.

Is the NEW Sci-fi movie of the guy who gave us Terminator 1 and 2 so what could go wrong ><!!!! ( ). I am really looking foward to this movie. Everything in it sounds and look awesome in my opinion. The James Cameron filmography is one of the best in the whole industry and they have been working with this one for over 4-5 years so I really expect a masterpiece from it . The story sounds great to me and CGI is one of the best ones since ROTS. The concept is fresh too so I don´t really see how this movie could be bad at all.

Thanks for the news Penitent Tangent . My opinions about the new list: 8093 - Plo Koon's Jedi Starfighter Another starfighter ? I really like the SW starfighters design but I think the TLC is starting to overuse them just to fill the holes of each SW wave. Also why Plo Koon? There are a lot of cooler starfighters over the one that Plo Koon owns, just take the Saesee Tiin orange starfighter . A watse of an oportunity I guess . 8089 - Wampa Attack One of the best in the wave . Finally another set that isn´t a remake of an older one. This set has a lot of possibilities in my opinion. New Wampa and Luke minifig, some cool bones pieces and such. I just hope that they make it a little more elaborate set than the Echo Base . 8095 - General Grievous' Starfighter The biggest let down in the whole list . We really need a new Grievous starfighter? In my opinion the old one was just about the right. It was a perfect set for the piece count and the price. I don´t want a newer Grievous´s starfighter that probably will be just a bigger model and cost $40 . 8096 - Palpatine's Shuttle I REALLY want it to be the one we saw in the Mustafar scene in ROTS. Please TLC, please . I can easily imagine this one as a CW themed set but I hope TLC make the ROTS version. Just imagine how cool a new designed shuttle with 2 Shock Troopers, new Emperor and new injured Anakin could be . 8097 - Slave I I can´t really see how the TLC can possibly improve the design of the 2006 Slave I so I really,really want it to be the Jango´s one . We really need some new AOTC sets. The TLC lost A LOT of possible sets in 2002 that could have been really great. I hope the TLC include a new Jango, new Boba and Taun We. 8098 - Clone Turbo Tank A redesign could make an awesome set but to be honest would have prefer by far a new Geonosis Arena. The worst part is that TLC know how much we want a new Geonosis Arena and they don´t do anything to make possible that AFOL dream . I know the TLC think that kids prefer CW sets because of the show but trust me, if I was a kid I would have prefered by far an awesome Colosseum with SW beasts and new minifigs over a commonly boring looking grey tank .

Definitely looking foward to it . I REALLY like The Beatles and having a videogame where you can play their songs is just a dream come true for me . This surely will be in my collection of PS3 titles before the end of the year (Even if this game is about The Beatles it can´t beat the awesomeness of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves ).

Thanks Klaus-Dieter for the news . Overall the list sounds like a pretty weird selection from the TLC. The BP sound about right to me but everything elese sounds like random stuff to me. Like legoman mentioned usually Jedi News is a reliable source but commonly mix the name of the sets when they publish them like what happened with the Hyena Droid Bomber last year. In my opinion a new TRI-DROID not Tri-Droid Fighter could make an awesome set. Just imagine how tall the TLC can make it and how different it will look from the common sets we normally receive . A new ARC-170 sounds good but seems a bit like a weird choice and why the TLC release such a vesse when next year is ESB anniversary and they could release a highly wanted Rebel Transport . The TIE Defender will preobably end just like the Tri-Droid Fighter and be a new TIE Fighter which could be great if done well. The Landspeeder sounds like the weirdest of the list. Why release a Landspeeder when they can release a new Twin Pod Cloud Car in conmemoration of the ESB anniversary???

Actually, I really like the SpongeBob cartoon . The humor is really good and the episodes are always different from each other in my opinion . It´s true that some episodes are kinda weird and that some scenes or phrases have a bit of double sense but it is non less hilarious .

Thanks a lot for the trailer Darth Sion . When I finish watching it I just said WOW!!!! Finally Dave and all the CW team understand what all the fans wanted in the first place . This season looks like a HUGE improvement over the last one (I am not saying that the last one was bad but too childish in some episodes), here are some of the facts I found from the preview (Some of them were previously mentioned ): - New Droid Factory and what is even better it looks really good from the preview. It looks like a creepy and more mature place actually (Which is really cool). Also there are Geonosians there but probably not in Geonosis . - In one part of the preview we can see some kind of assassin bots (Or that what I think Anakin said they were ) that seem to play a sthealth role which seems pretty awesome but most importantly that takes place in a SPACE PALACE !!!! And it looks pretty luxurious contrary to other palaces we have seen in the SW universe (cough*Jabba Palace*cough). - Finally some Mandalorians , that all I have to said about them . - Seems like Grievous makes a return after finishing the redecoration of his lair . - Cad Bane returns after his awesome apperance in Hostage Crisis . And finally but no less important... - NO JAR JAR BINKS .

They are just OK . Also they must have been MINIs since the start because the set is "sponsored" by Brickmaster and since when Brickmaster give us SW sets with minifigs . The MINIs are neat but really nothing special I would have liked A LOT more a Midi-scale instead of MINIs. The last year SW Comic-Con exclusive was really good I even purchased one and is now sitting in my colletion .

I am impressed that you don´t choose the 4483 AT-AT as one of your favorites looking at how much you like OT . My favorite is probably the 4483 AT-AT definitely one of the best sets the TLC have produced EVER and also one of the best OT sets out there . Plus it looks like a 2009 set but is 2003 which is something great considering how the SW sets look back then in 2003 .

Well somehow the new Rebel Blockade Runner is starting to grow in me since this new pics have surffaced . I must admit that there are quite a few good features for the size but the interior in my opinion is a totally rip-off . The same desk of Palpatine but in a new color and also that "command center" is really to laugh at . Everything else looks about right. The minifigs are pretty common but I must admit that I am happy that the TLC design a new Antilles instead of going for the orange shirt one that we saw in the LSWII videogame .

This is really good for the TLC . Considering this is the only Toy Brand in the list it should be a honor for them .

Thanks for the info einsteinonthebeach . Personally I am starting to feel this new RBR like a let down . Fie minifigs??? C´mon TLC this is supposed to be THE anniversary set and just 5 minifigs of which I am almost sure to be the common Leia, Rebel Trooper, R2, C-3PO and Cap. Antilles who isn´t all that exciting because is basically a Rebel Trooper with orange shirt . Also 1400 pieces sound a bit too much for what I saw in the pics but maybe it is because of the "greebling" . The more I look at the pics of the old RBR the more I feel this new one is mostly a step backwards . Also why the TLC don´t release the 10188 Death Star this year and the 10198 Rebel Blockade Runner the last one, it would have been a A LOT more iconic.

I know I revive an old thread but I just need to comment in this set (I just finish building mine ). I need t say I am VERY impressed . The box art don´t do this set justice even a bit , the Taun Taun is smaller then I thought something that is really good, the size of it is PERFECT, best SW creature hands-down . The little diorama is AMAZING, from the box art it looks pretty simple but when builded it is bigger and looks really good especially the "trench" piece. The minifigs are great and the new Hoth Rebel Troopers look better with the new googles . I definitely reccomend this set !!!

OMG!!! The Olympus in the trailer remember me a lot of that in God of War . Looks pretty cool by the way .

Looking better at the RBR pics and searching around other forums I am starting to think that this could be a mid-scale set like the new MF . Looking at the proportions it looks like one but the cockpit seems to fit minifigs. Also I counted the studs of the sides in the mid-section and seems to be 2 studs smaller than the Republic Cruiser .
