  1. I was hoping for full-scale version, but mini is nice as well. Great work, as far as I can tell from the pictures, this is pretty accurate. I really like the trees- I don't think I've ever seen that piece you used for the green part before. Great watermill and stream, too. Can we expect more MINI Indy MOCs soon?
  2. I agree, a spoiler warning should be put in the subtitle so that we don't have to continue with these annoying spoiler tags... In the meantime, though... EDIT: Hate to burst your bubble, def, but Bloody Jay hasn't been around for a long time. I suggest we just ask a mod to add it in the title. You would expect people to use common sense and stay away from this thread if they didn't want spoilers, but it is inevitable that that one person will come along...
  3. Nice one. I really like the shape of the walls and supports, as well as all of the wall details and roof pattern. The spire on top is a nice touch. Is there an interior? I would love to see the stained glass windows and an altar. These things are essential to cathedral MOCs, I think.
  4. Ah, sorry about that. I should read more often. That's good to hear that you can build them all at one time, I look forward to the day when you put them all together. That would be interesting, I suppose. Better, even. But couldn't the wheel centers sit higher on the coach, so more of the wheel overlaps the coach? Whatever you decide to do, I'm sure it will look great. Oh, and I just read the TBB post on this creation. Congrats to that, but I have to agree- poor horse!
  5. Excellent, it's great to see that you're not just doing buildings. Will you be putting all of your Tombclone MOCs into one scene, or do they all use recycled parts? Anyway, I like the stagecoach. Just what I would imagine for something of that era, except it is a little tall. I think bringing it a little lower to the ground somehow would make it look more realistic. The vulture is great too, but I think I saw that technique used before.
  6. Thanks, pedro, that is helpful so the rules are convenient. One question, will you be adjudicating every duel, or will it apply normally? Er... I think it's worth pointing out that you start out as a youngling with no force or mastery abilities...
  7. Me too! I have to say I really like the dark red version as well. Yes, that's pretty much the best for me, or anything chrome, I guess. There's no other way to describe the sensation I get when finding one of those in a Limited Edition set besides "pure joy". (I'm being a little overly-dramatic here...) These exist?! I had no idea before, now I'm going to have to make some crazy ARCHitecture. I'd also say that I'm pretty fond of tiles. Especially shiney new ones, preferably in dark green, dark blue, dark red, dark tan, or dark brown.
  8. VBBN posted a really helpful beginner's walkthrough a few months ago. It's worth checking out if you're still unclear on how to do this.
  9. Guys, I'm pretty sure you need to have a character first. You post them here. It's great to see some new-joiners, though.
  10. Aw, sure, kill off the best character first... Well it was fun while it lasted. Thanks a lot, Hinckley, for letting me play, and thanks to the players who made it so much fun. I just wish I could've seen it to the end (of course, I'll still be following along with the story). Oh, and I'm sure Jack appreciates everyone's sympathies. He really does appreciate being torn in half and then being poked with a stick while strip searched for a key.
  11. Mine is the exact same as Darth Hawken's... except the figure was modeled after me. Yeah, I have trouble fitting into a car sometimes without hitting my head.
  12. Jedi Master/ Secret Agent Jim Butcher is ready! Thanks for hosting this, Pedro, it looks like a lot of fun! Sweet prizes too, hopefully more players will join with the added incentive. There's not even 32 active players yet...
  13. Cool, we'll duel sok. It's alright, Kaitan, no problem. CallMePie, could you adjudicate for us, please?
  14. Well, you just changed the whole premise of the game. I think we (yourself and participants) would be better off playing the old version first, after we've memorized the rules and everything, before adding new game components and making it more complicated. On the other hand, I just want this to start, so I won't be making any changes to my army at the moment.
  15. I would like a duel, if anyone wants to. I'm also free for adjudicating.
  16. Wow, very generous of you, CopMike! I couldn't think of a better prize for a free raffle. Congrats to the winners again!
  17. Yep. Round 1, please. Round 1 Taran Krax vs. Suqidsaber High-1/ Kick-0 High-0/ Parry-0 Throw-1/ High-0 Low-0/ Low-0 High-0/ Parry-0 Health: 5/ Health: 3 Krax delivers damage to Squidsaber! What will the outcome be? Round 2, please. Round 2 Taran Krax vs. Squidsaber Mid-1/ High-0 High-0/ Mid-1 Low-1/ Kick-0 Parry-0/ Parry-0 Throw-1/ High-0 Health: 4/ Health: 0 Squiddy attempts to return attacks to Taran, but Krax displays his expertise in dueling and finishes his adversary with an amazing display of a lightsaber throw! Krax wins! Congrats to you, sok, and don't give up CMP, you'll get anoter chance. Feel free to update cards.
  18. Sure, I can adjudicate. Round 1 please.
  19. Sure, thanks CallMePie.
  20. I wouldn't call it "getting them out of the way", because even though the OT is better on a whole 'nother scale, the PT is still good. Of course. Who else would I be referring to? And just for the record, as everyone else seems to be doing it, here's my order of favorite SW movies(best to worst) Phantom Menace (Nostalgic reasons, mostly, but Liam Neeson is just so kick-megablocks that I couldn't not put this as first). A New Hope The Empire Strikes Back Revenge of the Sith Return of the Jedi Attack of the Clones Clone Wars
  21. I'd have to say Gamer. I recently saw this one, and was biting my tongue the whole time. The idea was pretty interesting, but I thought it could've had the same effect without the nudity. Not to mention that it could've been done in a lot less time than it took, and the acting was ludicrous terrible. Lines poorly delivered, and I literally almost banged my head against the wall at the part when
  22. There's also the manual way. (For anyone who wants to see if they still have 25% of their posts in the SW forum, even if it's not their most frequent forum).
  23. I can. Round 1 when you're ready, gentlemen.
  24. First, I think this belongs in the Culture and Multimedia forum. Don't worry though, a Sith lord will get around to moving it if he thinks so too. I'd agree with ATN. The sequels did comes first, and I think your view of SW as a whole will be better off starting with "the best". You can experience it just like most people alive for more than 30 years did, and then hate the prequels once you watch them after. After that, I'd suggest you check out the old 2D Clone Wars shorts, and then the new 3D cartoon. And, if you're really into it, play some games such as Knights of the Old Republic or the Battlefront games. Force Unleashed is another good one if you want to be EU-savvy. Good luck on your journey into pure gold.
  25. Yes! Finally we have another collection! Nice one, Z06, I really like how you displayed the planes at a raised level. Be warned, though, that the Temple of Doom will probably take up a whole shelf length-wise. You can probably fit in a small set or two between the tracks, but it is pretty long. Luckily for you, you have tall shelves, so it will probably fit height-wise. I had to take off the two glow-in-the dark points on the altar.
