I LOVE a more girly car in a juniors set.I almost bought the blue suitcase for my daughter last year just to get a simplified car. I ended up buying her a Creator car instead but... she can't put it together herself so it only served half the purpose. I have great hopes this one will stay together better too. And at that price I may just get some extra for "throw-on" gifts at future birthday party invites.

Looking at the kid's shirt perhaps I ought to have purchased more than one. Oh well

So Skyra is related to Emily's grandmother? is Emily's grandmother an elf?
-
Who is Skyra? She seems to only be available in the Castle. She's different from Aira right? (SAme hair color though different styles) The only two sets with emily seem to be the Treetop and the Castle. I may just have to get both to get Emily right away... Though in some ways the Treetop set is nicer looking than the castle I took the Azati fire polybag to a playdate with my kids and a friend's kids (4.5 and 2) and the 4.5 was enthralled. She even followed the instructions (with some help) to put it together. Then the 4.5 and my 3.5 year old set it up next to their Duplo town and started playing.

I am nervous about the whole storyline being represented in these sets. I really want this theme to continue!

My son (age 7) Got the Ninjago insert this month and has been picking it up to read over and over this month except when we make him read something a bit more meaty. Thanks for the explication of the different versions of the magazine. I was eagerly waiting until my daughter is old enough to subscribe so I can read the Friend stuff too! And its good to know its online BTW How did you find these links? I don't see anywhere they advertise the online versions of magazines.

We've already got the House SUitcase at this house. The suitcase is a bit disappointing because it does not hold up to little kids. Those clasps come off easier than I'd prefer. (OTOH my daughter is also 3 years old, a bit on the young end.) But we've lost the cat and one of the wheels on the bicycle, and some of the hair (She uses a flower bit as a "hat' instead) So we're planning to get this suitcase to augment the pieces that are missing. The house suitcase came with more pieces than needed to do the build. Is this one the same?

There is a Juniors Supermarket Suitcase Could that be where people thought a grocery store was coming? Hearing about that?
-
...And interestingly the Exo Suit (which I thought would be HOT and snapped up) has sat on the shelves while the Institute has sold out everytime it hit the shelves.

Looks like it is ready to go out onto the snow and ice!
-
I am hoping to use it on my office desk. And then to figure out how to modify it for Friend-liness.

The description on the Lego website is intriguing -- 3 internal places for stationary supplies!
-
Because Lego sets are not just for boys or just for girls. They built the Lego piano in Lego Friends and expect anyone who wants to build it to buy the hotel.

Buffy is considered live action horror? I didn't know that. I always considered it more of a teen drama

I was going to be sad that we got a hat instead of the marvelous hair! But we got both. YAY!

Review LEGO Elves Azari's Magic Fire Polybag
Sarah replied to brickpreviews's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I wonder if it will be Lego online only or in a Lego store as well? -
I've seen both minidolls and minifigures in some of the MOCs on this board and they don't look ludicrous at all. It looks like real people. Some taller. Some shorter. Some wider. Some thinner.

I'm not liking the blinding "Flashes' on the pop star boxes that make it hard to see parts. *sigh*

That's a SWEET Castle. Enough to make me stop and think. Do we want the Frozen castle or the Elves one? I may decide on the Elves one. By the time my daughter is old enough to really play with these, Frozen is not going to be as big a deal but Elves might still be around.

I had noticed on bricklink that some minifigures list accessories and some don't. It's annoying but I understand where the idea comes from that accessories are not part of the minifigure. When in a set, it can be hard to tell which accessories "go" with the minifig and which with the set. For Series Minifigures it is more annoying.

Not me. I'm totally uninterested in the Ghostbusters HQ but am interested in the science museum (though I fear it will be too expensive)
-
There is also a piano coming in the Friends grand hotel coming up this summer that the IDEAS set might compete with.

Thank you. I didn't know about this site and can see the books being useful for my children. (now and in the future)

I love that city street and how you combined the two.

A baby Dragon? Oh my!
