I just had a horrible thought -- What if we get a WInter Train, but it does not run on Lego track?
-
AGreed. I was thinking that the minidoll looked fabulous with the new Ariel hair. (And I prefer ARiel as a Minidoll rather than a minifig) The old Ariel hair looked fine on the minidoll, not good on the minifig at all. But the new hair looks good on both.

That would be nice. Its my daughter's favorite ride and I almost bought the Christmas set just for the tiny carousel in it.

I've got one of those kids who plays video games (even Minecraft). They still enjoy Legos. Before we left for church this morning, I had two kids kneeling next to the Legos busily putting blocks together, seeing how much they could get done before it was time to leave. (And they didn't get their Easter baskets until after dinner. So this had nothing to do with new sets)

WHere do you find the names of the adult dragons?
-
Do we have names for all the dragons? The pink wind dragon baby is Fledge The orange baby dragon in the Inn is Spark More babies are apparently coming in the summer Is the blue dragon baby in the School the same one we got last year in the Sleigh? What is his name? (No egg at this point but the dragon baby ride seems like a lot of fun....)

I have an 8 year old boy and a 4 year old girl. I notice the boy has started playing with Lego more within the last year, now that Dd is interested. They only get Lego sets on gift giving occasions. (Birthday, Christmas, Easter) or for rewards in certain circumstances. Yes, I have more Lego. The childhood Lego plus the stuff I have bought. Ore recent. There are a set of mini figures I don't care about that I bring out for them to play with sometimes. And I bring my Lego out to play with together on occasion too--but only when it is out. Unfortunately, my daughter loves Lego but she also loses it a lot and I am not willing to risk that. So far it has not been a problem I get more than they do.

I was just at the Lego store in Austin. No Angry Birds sets

AH. I see. THe part about the VIP points is on the 2nd page. (Which I was not able to see until I downloaded the calendar by accident)

Where do you find which sets are going to have bonus points?

Not only were there AFOLs in 2001. But there were Internet groups for AFOLs in 2001. I know my first return from Lego Dark Ages (And the reason I joined ebay originally) was in the late 1990s and I participated in one. This second batch of sets got boxed up and sold in the midst of getting married in 2003.

This assumes 1) Cost to produce the item was under $1 and 2) The production capacity could not be better used to produce a different item for more profit potential. Lego has to manage its production as well as I understand it.

Yeah. But I'm also a mom with a 4 year old and a 8 year old, attending the birthday parties, baby showers, etc. and I have been to several parties over the years from age 6 on when almost every gift was a Lego set of some kind. But I have not seen a Duplo set show up yet. I do know that my friend's parents got her kids Duplo once when they were at the Lego store. But her oldest (age 5) has already moved on to Lego Frozen and Lego Elves. We had Dupllo, of course, and suggested it when kids are younger. So I have nothing against it. Just surprised that it would show up in top for revenue. At age 3 my daughter chose a Duplo food set. By age 4, she chose the Lego Juniors castle and the Palace pets stuff.

I am amazed DUplo made top 5. I do not see that many people purchasing it.

Disney Collectible Minifigures Series 1 Discussion

Pooh. I read that as March, not May. Guess they'll just have to go as stocking stuffers. Or maybe I'll find another excuse before that- 4,155 replies

My kids will LOVE it. I'm wondering if it will be out before Easter so I can get some for Easter baskets. My husband and I think "Dash" when we see that figure.- 4,155 replies

I am very excited/hopeful for another Christmas train! I really want one to put under the tree. And I've been eyeing it the last two years. Even bought $$ of stuff last fall to get the small train to use for Christmas decorations.
-
Except, of course, that Easter is March this year.
-
I really want Olivia's set. Yes, even the car. When I thought it was just a car I was enh. But with a new robot and telescope?! Yay!

For someone who has gotten one of these calendars before -- other than the coupons, what does the Calendar look like. Does it have a Lego-related picture on one side and the calendar on the other like most wall calendars?
-
Yep. we do!
