  1. Thanks for the tip! Yesterday I bought mostly NK parts, but they aren't Globlins nor Scurriers. I bought the windscreens from Axl's tower carrier and the big demonhead (forgot his name). Red body parts and Whipperella's head piece, as well the eye head pieces for my demonic needs and two Moltor's without his shoulder gear (costs €1,95, no thanks!). As for my space needs: two ultimate Clay blue helmets and four black space marine armors!! I wish the lime space marine armor becomes available soon, It comes only with a Lex Luthor minifig yet. I'm going to shop again sometime later, but I want to buy some Nexo Knights set first.
  2. Cool robots. Great work on the SNOT tall slopes ground.
  3. Very nice Mite Scout Vehicle, I like the lights too.
  4. Great entry! Those are some great places you visited. As a Japanophile and member of Kawashita, I want to visit Japan someday as well. I lost It at the Ninjago knock off.
  5. Right now a very nice build up review. Looking forward to the conlusion!
  6. The Edelwald Troops look excellent. I like the brick built stands, reminds me of wargaming.
  7. At least with stickers, you get the option to apply them or not: With printed bricks, you have to use an 'illegal' method to remove them. I like transparent stickers and I'm not to keen on opaque stickers. The first feels durable and appears to have more detail, the last feels tacky but has at least solid printed colours,
  8. That depends If consumers buy enough of the waves to make It profitable for TLG to continue. See Ninjago; It's popular by demand and TLG keeps churning out wave of sets every 6 or so months. I have no sale lists of GS, but I assume It was not very popular to make It to a third wave as I mentioned before.
  9. I can only imagine what a foul and stickiness mess that swamp water is. The undead soldiers are cool.
  10. Very, very cool! Design and colour scheme is also great.
  11. Thank you for the review! The Stealth Raider looks amazing and comes with great parts. It's a shame TLG can't seem to fix the white printing on transparant or dark opaque bricks and It does not come close to the colour of regular white bricks. However besides that It's a great spiritual succesor to the Ultra Sonic Raider, which I found tempting back then to get. Now I'm a bit tempted by this set after your review.
  12. I just noticed Jestro's Lair has a lot of 1x2x3 panels in trans. orange. That's just very nice!
  13. I buy IKEA products because they are not expensive for what you get and the fact you can disassemble them for better storage when not used. It also saves me stress that IKEA works with a catalog system. I don't enjoy putting furniture together nor am I proud that I built It. In the end I'm glad that's over with and I can use It. So no, in my case It's certainly not the same experience I have when building LEGO.
  14. I don't know If 2016 is a dissapointing LEGO year at all. I do think Star Wars is not very interesting or appealing to me this year and I think I'm kind of biased here, except for the price of each set in The Netherlands and Europe. There's a lot more then just Star Wars after all; for instance Disney fans get there own Collectible Minifigure Serie and even (German) soccer fans. There's a lot of diverse LEGO themes and some interesting new ones like Nexo Knights and on a personal note, I think Elves and Ninjago are stepping up to a new level of quality as well this summer. I can relate that for Castle and Fantasy fans It's a dissapointing year, but over all, I think there's not really that much to complain about 2016 being a dissapointing year.
  15. Youtube Reviews in Russian: -
  16. Good to read that the lair is to your satisfaction, I'm looking forward to get my hands on It a little later. Axl's Tower Carrier and Jestro's Lair are my must haves for the Summer wave of NK.
  17. That's one awesome beefy Centurion! Cool to see Spacer Steve's past belonging to Spyrius; that was a fun Space theme with all the robots and saucers.
  18. For using BaP you need a lot of patience and luck to get the parts you want. I recently discovered a lucky find of this canopy half sphere with handle that wasn't available when It was recently released. The Nexo Knights parts that are out of stock or not even listed should be showing up later this year is my guess. As for the minifigures, that's a tough one. I get the impression TLG is more strict in selling torso's and helmets through BaP than last year. But hopefully I'm wrong. To all people; show off your collections! I can only imagine how huge the first year of all NK sets could be.
  19. Tough call, but I think they're both great. Those minifig heads and choice of clothing are very nice and I like how you used a Dragon Knights torso for your own bandit.
  20. I think the design of the Black Knight's Mech feels a bit underwhelming for my taste, I'd rather prefer the King's Mech. However, the parts and Whiperella are a nice touch.
  21. I suppose I should have mentioned in my prior post that I personally feel SW sets are getting more expensive in recent years. It did'nt crossed my mind someone would read "since 1999" while writing. But I appreciate your effort into digging some TLG history of prices of LEGO sets back then. It refreshed my look once again how TLG's prices worked back then. I'm wondering If Nexo Knights is a MOCcing potentional theme that gets popular in MOC communities? I have seen quite some interesting and cool NK inspired MOCs on this forum and on Flickr lately. I can imagine that It will infleunce more Spastle (Space + Castle) and Warhammeresque MOCs and I'm excited to see more in the future and do some myself someday. I have an idea about a Ghoul like faction with tanks and beefy starships with H.G. Giger infleunces with huge transparant clear windscreens and black with magenta or dark red accents. Just letting my brainfart...
  22. I was a LEGO Star Wars fan since 1999, but It just ain't as cool and novel to me like It was back then. On a personal note; I think It gets more expensive with each new wave and the scarce minifig focus is very bothersome. As for the volcano lair, It's going to be awesome. I'm so far not dissapointed with Nexo Knights.
  23. I can kind of relate to that. I buy mostly sets that have a lot of cool parts I'd like to use in future MOC's. But sets of themes that are both good on their own and have cool parts? Those are the best kind of sets!
  24. I'm digging the cave with the small vehicles. Are those transparent panels at the launch controls clear? If so, we're getting them back since 2002's Twin Pod Cloud Car. The current price at amazon.co.jp calculated in Euro's is about €165,00. I have no idea how Japanese LEGO prices work in comparison with American and European markets.
  25. Yesterday I did some tests on applying stickers with water and a bit of dishwashing soap on a extra sticker sheet of Mines of Moria. It's very satisfying to have constant control on your sticker, but once dried I get more mist underneath the sticker than without this method. What am I doing wrong? I'm going to build the Fortrex soon and I'd like to know what method is best for transparant stickers?
