  1. I'd like to see General Grievous kill/take out some more important characters such as a Jedi Knight/Master or a seasoned Clone Captain or Commander. How about General Grievous fighting in a battle and taking on a squad or two of clones. Kind of in the same manner as General Krell decimating a bunch of clones on Umbara.
  2. There is much that we do not know of Mother Talzin and I really hope the show expands on her motives. She like anybody else with power doesn't always reveal their true motives. She has put a lot of things in motion but we still don't know why. With that being said, there is so much potential that I can see the show continuing for another 3-5 seasons. With all the different factions, there's just so many stories left to be told and I want to hear/see them all.
  3. Interesting development. If true, I wonder how the colored wires will look against the chrome gold. I'm sure it'll look awesome but I am curious. And if this is indeed an April-Fools hoax then good job.
  4. I would be really disappointed if Savage Oppress just becomes a pawn of Maul. I hope his character just wasn't created as a mechanism to bring back Darth Maul. There are a lot of interesting stories to be told now that Maul has returned. I really hope the show capitalizes on this with multiple story arcs.
  5. I'm counting on it. Although not a part of the CIS, I could see Maul and Oppress using guerrilla tactics on the Republic. And seeing how Maul's hatred is focused on the Jedi, I wonder if we'll see Maul take out more Jedi than General Grievous.
  6. Congratulations on your triumph. I've been quietly following this thread and I can't wait to hear the updates.
  7. Received my Shadow ARF Troopers x3 earlier this week from S@H.
  8. For me I would like to see General Grievous and the Separatists actually win a battle. So far, the Clone Wars is pretty one sided and that's not what I want to see in the show. I want it to show what war is really like. Losses on both sides.
  9. I would be all over this. I would love to army build different types of clones and this would be an easy and affordable way to do it. Of course I'll still end up spending a lot of money, I would just have a lot of clones to show for it.
  10. I avoid Wookiepedia for this reason. I've lost many hours of sleep because I had to know something and one page leads to 3-5 pages, leads to 9-15 pages, and it never ends.
  11. I too would also like to see battles/campaigns from the troopers perspectives. I want to see Commanders and Captains ordering their troops around in battle and actually using different tactics. So far, TCW is about large amounts of clones and droids going head to head. Most of the Jedi fight in the front. I'd like to squads of clones flanking the while they're engaged by the Jedi. There's more to battles than just facing each other and shooting.
  12. I never get tired of seeing/reading how people are taking on the UCS Falcon. Congratulations to everyone that has taken on this endeavor and I hope to someday join you in this challenge.
  13. I'm looking forward to and believe that we will get a new Phase II helmet mold for the CW sets. I'm not sure where everyone stands on this but I really like the look of the pre-TCW clone helmets. The cut-away doesn't bother me. I know it really doesn't make sense since the heads are black underneath and that part of the helmet is black anyway. Another thing, when my son and his friends play with their LEGO, they always fight to play with the clones with the older helmets.
  14. I came into The Clone Wars cartoon thinking that it would be more about the actual battles during the Clone Wars. But the more I thought about it, I realized that TCW is the story of Anakin between Episodes II and III. There was such a gap between the two films that it left many wondering how Anakin went from Jedi to Sith with the flip of a switch so to speak. I completely agree with you and I appreciate how you're able to convey your thoughts in such a reasonable and coherent way.
  15. I find your "clone wars crap" comment a little harsh. You're entitled to that view but I don't think it's fair. The Clone Wars has a large following with kids and that's who toys "LEGO and Hasbro" are targeted at. If it wasn't for TCW, my son and I would have never gotten into LEGO. My son already loved Star Wars but it wasn't until he saw TCW LEGO sets that we became fans. TCW brings my family and I new Star Wars stories that we can enjoy together. Something that the EU doesn't at the moment.
  16. For me, I like both CW and TCW for what they are. For the time I can say I like TCW because it continues to tell me Star Wars stories. I agree that the animation styles are completely different. CW and TCW were made 5 years apart and in that time many advances were made in technology. It's just not fair to compare them.
  17. That looks a lot like what's going on at my house right now. Unfortunately on a smaller scale.
  18. I like your idea for this Battle of Umbara UCS. With the 3 locations that you chose, I could see each one being broken down into individual sets. How about a UCS Republic Gunship that can deploy an AT-RT the same way they were deployed in the show. I know that's a dream but it would be nice.
  19. I finally got to read the interview and there was a lot of good stuff in there. I really wish I could got to SDCC or Celebration VI this year and join in the festivities. I hope Season 5 continues on what Season 4 closed on. I'm looking forward to some great stories being told.
  20. Congratulations on picking up the Death Star. It is truly a magnificent build. My son had a blast helping me build it when he was 6 years old. Not sure what other themes you're into but I'm saving up for the Lord of the Rings sets due to be released this summer.
  21. I wasn't too excited with the battle packs this year but I would love an Umbara BP. It would be awesome for LEGO to make some new Phase II Clones. And if they're 501st clones, I couldn't even begin to estimate how many of them I would buy. A cyborg Maul with special cyborg leg mold would be awesome. If this is indeed made, I hope the legs aren't a single piece and they can move.
  22. Of all the EP II possibilities, this is the one I don't want to see. I'm tired of JSFs taking up slots where other sets can be made each year. I know some may want a non-CW Obi JSF, but it's all the same to me. Pretty much the same thing with Slave I. Pass.
  23. I'm not particularly too happy about a Mandalorian Shuttle but if it brings us Satine and a couple of Mandalorian Guards it may be worth it for me.
  24. Out of the three, I really love the look of the Batmobile. The red leather seats contrast well to the all black exterior. I like the angles you created from the sides and the details you put into the back of the vehicle look great.
  25. Your cosmetic mods look good but it's hard for someone that doesn't have this model to really appreciate what you've done. They are pretty subtle but the side by side close-up photo's do show the mods nicely. I wonder how noticeable your mods are from a wider view.
