Personally I would go with Tower Bridge. It looks really awesome as a display piece and isn't as highly sought after as the Death Star. Plus, many collectors are investing/hoarding the Death Star based on how prices soared after the UCS Millenium Falcon finally sold out. I have no interest in the VW. So if you're looking a strict collector's item, go with Tower Bridge.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 4 Discussion
Sir_Basil_Ashton replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Why wouldn't I be curious on the fates of Ahsoka and Rex? They are two of the main characters in the Clone Wars cartoon series that we don't see in Episode III. Not only are they main characters but they're also great characters. A lot of viewers have followed both characters for the past 4 years and when the series ends I'd like to know what happens to all the characters that we don't see in Episode III. Otherwise, why I even introduce these characters at all? Why give the clones names? Although the thought is cool, I can't see Rex relinquishing his leadership position in the 501st to become an ARC Trooper. What he does as a Captain is more important than what he would do as an ARC Trooper. -
Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 4 Discussion

Based on what I've read in interviews, I would expect The Clone Wars to go at least 7 seasons. There are too many stories left to be told. I really hope the show ends properly answering some of the most obvious questions we want answered. Specifically the fates of Ahsoka and Captain Rex. On a separate note, I wonder if the way Hasbro has cut back on TCW line of toys will have an effect on the TCW cartoon. I really hope not as I believe once the Clone Wars stops airing on Cartoon Network, my son's interests will shift away from Star Wars. -

I placed an order on the last day of the Double VIP points promo and although the sets I ordered are on backorder, the Shadow ARF Trooper has shipped. Another welcome addition to my ranks. -
Awesome setup. I would love to have a LEGO room but I'm years away from that even being an option. With your setup I love that wall with all the drawers.

I agree with your views on Maul. The way he was defeated by Obi-Wan was pretty pathetic. Although he dueled with Qui-Gon longer than Obi-Wan, it was pretty clear that Maul's abilities were superior. Then one on one with Obi-Wan, Maul ended that duel quickly. As you stated, his character was ruined when he was defeated by Obi-Wan. I love that he has made a return in TCW and I really hope that this time his character is given justice if and when he is defeated. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 6 Discussion

The codes are okay but they vary depending on the batch. The packaging for the Roman Soldier tends to bulge more than other packages because of the helmet. I always look for the bulge first then I check for the spear. It's length is almost the same as the width of the package and the tip of the spear is soft and bends pretty easily. The shield also has a pretty distinct feel to it. -

I'm sure this year's promos will be available both in-store and at S@H. If not, looks like I'm going to do quite a bit of driving. -

You may be the only one. I think you're the only person I've heard of that hasn't been able to find the Roman Soldier. May I ask, are you using the dot codes of touch method? -
Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 5 Discussion

As Maul stated in the finale, he has waited a long time for his revenge. Now that he's whole again, he has nothing but time. I believe he and Savage Oppress will never attack the Jedi directly but continue to attack different planets forcing the Jedi to them. I don't want to see Ahsoka's character killed but if her story does indeed end with her death, I hope it's by Maul's hand. As much as Obi-Wan's staged death affected Anakin, I could see Ahsoka's death having a bigger impact on him since he is her Master. -

Personally I don't think it's fair to say that TCW ruined Maul. Not saying that opinion is wrong but I don't see it that way. If anything, Lucas ruined Maul the way he was defeated in TPM. For me he was one of the high points of Episode I and I always thought his character had so much potential. I really enjoyed last nights episode and I was left wishing that the finale was a double episode. Only so much story could be told in one episode but I think the episode was nicely done. I really can't wait to see Savage Oppress's power as he receives training from Maul. Oppress personifies brute strength. Imagine how powerful he can become with time and the proper training to compliment his raw power. I foresee many Jedi falling in battle. -
Congratulations on your new job. I've been here for a short time but I've noticed that the Star Wars page sets the standard for all other pages on this site. It is clearly the best because of your efforts.

Not really exciting news but for those of you that like polybag sets, I just noticed that Brickset has the 30058-STAP polybag listed as "Available from Walmart March 2012". Haven't made a stop at Walmart in over a month but a trip may be warranted. 30058 - STAP

WOW! That was fast. LEGO is available now on the Sideshow Collectibles website. Only five sets are available so far with 3 of them being Star Wars sets. They're all listed at MSRP. For the Falcon, FLEXPAY as low as $70.00/month is available. =LEGO+%28R%29"]LEGO at Sideshow Collectibles -

Nothing's wrong with TC-14, I'd rather see some other minifigs in chrome before another protocol droid. I think a chrome R2-D2 would look good with the shine and a part of my collection. I'm 75% sure I would pass on a chrome Jar-Jar. Who am I kidding, the 25% would win out in the end. -
I too was pretty impressed by the trailer and my wife is urging me to read the book before the movie is released.

Wow I'm getting old. My memory's a mess. Thanks for the correction. At least I was correct on it being a Toy Fair promo. I can't believe White Boba came out over 2 years ago now. I know this list isn't complete nor is it meant to be. These are the promos I've been aware of since my family got into LEGO. Toy Fair Promos 2010 - White Boba Fett 2011 - Star Wars Miniland figures 2012 - Darth Maul May the 4th Promos 2010: Sticker Sheet 2011: Shadow ARF Trooper 2012: ??? -

Last year White Boba was revealed and given away at NY Toy Fair and this year it was Darth Maul. However the May the 4th Promo was the Shadow ARF Trooper. I'm not saying this is a sure bet but I don't think we'll know for sure until LEGO releases more details on what's in store for May the 4th this year.
