if you're trying to load it directly thru eb, you can't exceed 100KB i believe... usually people use brickshelf to upload pics...

are you kidding? do we finally get a crocodile? :oD that would be really nice!!
-
i've seen it too... sets are more expensive. it's as if they're thinkning: "well if we are so popular, then why not try and increase profit by pushing prices?"

i'm confused here... why would you want to conquer norway? the country is huuuuuuge, hardly has any population, it's cold out there, you probably won't be able to take your ships into the northern parts of the ocean, because most the water will be fozen anyway... you should wait until summer... but most of all, there's no strategic advantage in taking this country...

i'm a bit confused... i think you're comparing apples with oranges. sure, there's "fort" and "fortress" somewhere in the english title of these sets, but at least one is basically a castle... anyway, my innitial choice would have been 6080, but that's not in it... so i'll go for the only true fort in this collection: fort legoredo

nono... it looks like brand new! if you hold it against the lights, there's no trace left of the print... at first i thought the trans dark turned out to be a bit lighter, but perhaps that's because you not only erase the prints but also dust,... i'm gonna try and polish the old sloped windows of classic space ships... wonder what comes out of that...
-
i tested this polishing technique today and here are the first results: the trans blue piece used to be this printed screen with black lines, can't find the original piece on BL the left trans dark windscreen used to be like the right one i just polished the windscreens with a traditional cupper polisher you can find in your local shop; it took me about half an hour to clean a piece... the smell wasn't too good, tho...

there is one in billund and one in Windsor, but i'll assume germany has one too. i guess it's this one....

i'm also wondering how these northern armies, like the vikings, norwegians,... are going to reach france. i won't give them permission to go thru belgium!

thanks people. since i have 12 of these, i might try one and see what comes of it

No. The Chronicles of Narnia is an allegory on the life and death of Jesus - I agree. But most stories are allegories or something the like over a theme in our life and religion. This is what make those stories great. I'm sure the story isn't meant to be seen as a Christian movie as LOTR isn't to be read as a story based on The Great War! - Great stories are meant to be seen and loved not interpreted from this day to Ragnarok / Armageddon. Just pointing it out! ;) KimT at first i had no idea what was going on with this religious element in the thread. but now that i heard a guy on radio talking about it, i understand. 1) it is a film about christianity, far more than the good-evil concept you can find in LOTR, in fact, some even see it as an attempt by Disney to silence critisism that they've become a supporter of "progressive" values, themes, ... for instance, they seem to refer to the kids at some point as "children of adam and eve"... 2) according to what i heard, there are lots of religious references to christianity in the film, but you can ignore them if you want. you don't have to accept all that stuff in order to enjoy the film

i saw this craft on brickshelf. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery....y.cgi?i=1534658 it looks nice but it's the canopy that caught my eye. it's not been printed on, it's clean. to my knoledge, lego only produces printed versions, so where does this come from? can you remove these prints and how do you do that?

what i like most about the pirate theme is that you get some many interesting things for only a few

you may want to ask your question to real train clubs on the internet. http://www.ngltc.org/links-tl.html

i agree with sam. i think we have 4 catalogs every year, so all the stuff we know off today will probably be in the first catalog of 2006, in january we'll probably see prototypes of the summer products... i think that is what happened with the vikings in 2005

ok, since it is practically christmas, i'm willing to sign a peace treaty with the french. let others go to war and destroy each other's home if they want to... i'll be drinkning wine and have dinner my french buddies while you guys bleed to death in the gutter somewhere on this earth... No need for that Count Sneffy, we were never at war !! But I will be glad to drink a lot of wine and beer with my Belgian friends while other nations destroy themeselves for insignificant grey bricks !! excellent!
-
i didn't vote because a theme will most likely have a pirate ship, a fort, an imperial fleet of some kind... it would be a bit of everything...

i voted GOF it's the first one that was exciting from first to last second. the first hp was great in terms of atmosphere. the castle, wizzards,... it was all more or less re-invented, and it looked brilliant! the acting of the lead characters was great either... the second... can't remember that one... oh yeah, the car, the spider... nice entertainment , but nothing more number three was a lot better , the bus is fantastic :oD , but i got bored at some point in the film... the going back in time thing wasn't the writer's best idea, i guess... number four was great! acting clearly improved, cgi was great, by far the best! :oD

so you're going to organise a huge beach landing in belgium with your american fleet, eh? i wonder where you'll do that... besides, i'm the leader of belgian mercenaries, i'll be drinking belgian beer in Paris by the time you've figured out i'm not there. Also, belgium is a neutral country. if you atack belgium, all major powers in the world, like france, uk, russia, prussia, austria won't even have a choice but to declare war against you...

thanks for the reviews, j! :oD i guess this theme is a "love it or hate it" theme. i don't particularly think it's interesting...
-
so you don't know that lego doesn't want to produce exotic themes anymore?
