I was a HUGE Ninja Turtle fan in their original heyday, and I have to say I think that, in a lot of respects, the new show is even better than the original cartoon.My favorite part about it is that it has got a nice sense of continuity within itself, with a real slow burn that draws out the tension on a lot of plot points. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it's a worthy successor, IMO.

A DC advent calender would be a great place for a "Mr. Freeze vs. Batman" theme - gifts and sleds and stuff encased in ice like Aquaman will be in the upcoming set. Batman with a pair of CMF ice skates.

Dreadnok Swamp Base! Okay, so this is basically just a Tower Takedown on top of a Robbers Hideout...but I felt like both sets already captured something of the Dreadnok aesthetic. So I ran with it. Anyway, there's a dock for...you know, docking stuff: And a camouflaged tower for communications and world domination radar activities - connecting to laser satellites and what-have-you: Zartan can park his Swamp Skier in the poorly lit interior of the cabin: And then ride it out into action:

I think this will be the first time I buy every set in a theme (I came real close with the Marvel sets). I get where these may not be everyone's cup of tea, but they hit all the right buttons for me.
