  1. Thanks. Stickers are from some actual GI Joe vehicle decal sheets.
  2. LOL, maybe someday.
  3. LOL, I just realized that when the TMNT sets come out, we'll have an easy way to make Jimmy Olson: Turtle Boy
  4. 3rd animated iteration, yes, but the 4th television iteration total. Don't forget about The Next Mutation (even though I wouldn't blame you for wanting to). And, yes, I feel old.
  5. I bet one of the "X" sword sheath backpacks will look good on Leonardo in place of the shell because of that.
  6. Thanks! I'm looking forward to Chima giving us some more vicious alligator head parts to work with, but I was pretty happy with the frog-as-jaws idea for a while. If only his hat would have stayed on...
  7. Yeah, I struggled with fitting in larger engines. I settled for this, but I'll probably revisit someday. The cobra head is a pretty simple build:
  8. Thanks. Also, I remembered I had some pics of some WIP figures I was trying out: Slash: Leatherhead: Baxter Stockman: I abandoned all these builds, but maybe they'll inspire someone else.
  9. As much as I understand the desire for a cheap way to get all the Turtles, I think it's the last thing Lego wants to do from a business standpoint. But, hey, dare to dream.
  10. Here's some more pics I got around to this afternoon: Cobra Base by Hobbestimus, on Flickr Cobra Ferret by Hobbestimus, on Flickr Cobra FANG by Hobbestimus, on Flickr Cobra CLAW by Hobbestimus, on Flickr
  11. I saw those. I'll be checking them out.
  12. Thanks, guys!
  13. I'd love a really detailed rooftop set. Three or four different sized levels clustered together that represent the very top of some New York buildings, with a skylight and a water tower that both have collapsing action, and a fire escape platform with ladder on the side. It could come with two turtles, some foot ninjas, some Kraang, and maybe a civilian. Someone like Spider Bytez pre-mutation, perhaps.
  14. I know Kre-O has a GI Joe line coming out, but I wanted to try my hand at some Lego versions of my favorite GI Joe vehicles. Cobra CLAW: And the FANG: And the Ferret: And a place to park them all at base: And, not to be outdone, GI Joe's got a Sky Hawk to do battle with: Comments and critiques appreciated.
  15. Plotting Bebop and Rocksteady MOCs?Yeah, me too.
  16. I laughed out loud at work.
  17. I'd be willing to bet money that the Mandarin of Iron Man 3 is without super powers of any kind. HOWEVER, it wouldn't shock me if he survived and got some real magic rings from Loki or Thanos by the time Avengers 2 rolls around. But in the upcoming movie? Nah.
  18. I like his show model, but I don't love the ways it's transferred to plastic so far. But I think the Lego Minifigure is better than the actual action figure. I'm hoping maybe Legends of Chima might end up using the head piece in maybe something like a pure brown or pure gray, and then I could swap it out. I think it's the splotchy fur pattern that hurts it.
  19. Wow, looks like lots and lots of wings. I wish the images were bigger, but I like what I'm seeing.
  20. Splinter should have easy Chima replayability, if that interests you. And Krang fits right in with various space themes.
  21. Well, shoot, if there's a mailing list...
  22. I KNOW RIGHT!*anxiously awaits reveals*
