  4. We need more Clerics. Like, really really REALLY need more Clerics. Especially high-Level ones. It's only just now hit me that almost none of the original Clerics are still active, and we literally have TWO Ether-healing characters above Level 30 (Althior and Boomingham). That's...really not good.
  5. OOC: Just realized, Miirym's health should be 69, not 68 (30+39). Out of compassion towards you and all future QMs (and all our OCD players like me), I'll probably be using one of my Henry awards on her to bump that up to an even 70 after this battle, so her health will always be Level+30. Also, Arthur's max HP is 66 (5+39=44+15=59+7=66). With Miirm recently revived, Arthur has a moment to pick through his weapons, eventually coming across his Metasimian Dory. He nods to himself; this would do. Springing up out of seemingly nowhere, Arthur launches a swift reprisal from the Back Row against Bellerai, the Dragon who had dared attack Miirym. Miirym, for her part, does her best to use her breath against the Right Wing from the Back Row.

  11. Yeah, It's really great at making an enemy's health pool last longer without having to give them thousands of HP. It's also great for people who have poison/curse weapons, helps them feel useful to the party even if their WP is low. The big warning, though, is to do SP OR back row. You do NOT want to end up with this:

  13. OOC: Ahh, you listed it as a Critical Hit instead of a SHIELD, and then referred to it as High Assault (which was the old name for Jump Hit), that's where the confusion came from I think. It was clear from the start that if someone managed to put together all six pieces, they'd be damn near unstoppable; Warlen's only drawing attention because he's demonstrating that just two of them together are still formidable.
  16. These are also long battles with a large party, which helps increase the odds of multiple Damage/Special Damage rolls. Also if it weren't for Erik and William's high SP to let them actually live through the D/SD, the party would be in a lot more trouble, balancing out the advantage pretty squarely.

The massive limb rushes towards him-- Miirym is there in an instant, hissing and spitting her wrath at the one who would harm her partner. As Miirym spits, a plume of smoke blooms forth, seemingly to no avail. Miirym gnashes her teeth and hisses her hatred-- A faint spark. An ember. A manifestation of the darkness in a fiery heart. The fog explodes in a magical burst, its energy dark and piercing as it saps the wing of some of its strength. Bellerai is a Dragon, a hardy creature of an ancient race--what damage would such a blow cause against mere humans? The mind boggles.   25. Pretty much the same here, though I'm also hoping I can somehow engineer a situation where I can join Crescent and then immediately re-earn some Ziegfried rep. I'm not! Well, I mean, I sort of am, but only insofar as I want to hit the point where I can read the other party's exploits in Duplovia and Baltarok so I can hastily rewrite my own Quests to accommodate the events there. The battles are really intense, though. At this point, I'd be happy if the rest of the Quest was nothing but cryptic anagrams. Is it bad that I'm more proud of these item pics than I am of any set pic in my entire Quest? These turned out really, really well. Something about the angle of the sunlight just worked, and for once brightening the background wasn't a total pain in the megablocks.
