Wow. That's a gorgeous ship! I'd love to see some builds like that in the Eurobricks Heroica RPG. Anyway, welcome, fellow Californian!

Welcome! As a fan of the medieval themes, perhaps you'll enjoy Eurobricks' very own Heroica RPG! Regardless, enjoy your stay!

I think Quest 50 went on about this long as well. EDIT: and semi-ninja'd by JimB.

I don't think 95 has an end in sight. Na na na na...na na na na, yeah, na na na na...you are the music in me-- *shot* I seriously hope no one knows what that's from.

Minoid scans the enemies. -
Because baiting a minion to defy the boss' orders out of anger and thus get fried by said boss is never a terrible idea.

Heroica RPG - Quest #99: Six Thousand Feet Under

"Prometheus Regret. I'm beginning to see how you came to take up that moniker." Arthur looks around the room casually. "Nice place you've got here," he remarks sarcastically, indicating the cavern with an airy wave of his hand. "The dank gloom, the sharp spikes all over the place, the constant, gnawing cold. I can totally see how that's completely conducive to the resident's sanity." The Skirmisher's words dripped so much sarcasm that, had it somehow been converted into poison, The Regret would be taking six thousand damage per Round from it. "But what do I know, the cold never bothered me anyway." "I have to say, I'm a little disappointed. The last three times we met, you had the decency to show up yourself right from the get-go, none of this business with minions and traps and puzzles and the like. I'm not sure whether I should be honored or insulted that you're using me to take out the trash." By the way he directed the word 'trash' at Seerus, it was clear he meant the Oculoids. He turns his attention back to Prometheus. "I trust that's the reason you dragged us all down here? Or are you telling me your minions were supposed to be competent?" -
Bringing this up again because I'd like to know if you'd be okay with allowing stacking on Bleeding, Cursed, and Burning specifically. In the case of Bleeding I can just as easily swap it for Poisoned by the desired amount, but for Burning specifically it involves a pre-existing NPC roll created by another QM that I'm not really comfortable changing to poison.

Arthur grimaces. "There's more to Heroica than that--not much more, admittedly, but it's there. I mean, we've got Byblos, and Schezerade, and...well whatever the Veterans do; I don't think I've ever heard of them actively fighting. If that's still not your style, there's also this group called the Syndicate; they used to be pretty shady, but they've mended their ways, and their entire mandate is about helping poor people in need. I could put in a good word with their leader for you if you wanted." -
Careful, Zeph, that thing is now dangerously, game-breakingly overpowered through min-maxing!

"Yeah...there was a girl upstairs, one of the workers in the mine above us, who seemed interested in me, but then again she didn't know my secret. I highly doubt she's into semi-solid abominations, though." Arthur glances warily at the ceiling as it trembles once more. "Still, there's other things in life. You considered joining Heroica?" -

"True...the difference being your transformation was involuntary. Mine was...the result of stupidity. Still, it doesn't matter in the end--we just have to keep living, day by day, no matter what awaits us." -
FYI, your posts 1 and 2 merged thanks to the auto-merge function. Nonetheless, I very much approve of the move.
-
We made a marker for her even though we didn't have her body. Same with several of the others, actually. And post-merging strikes again...
-
...of course I've been gathering the wrong image links this whole time. That's okay, it's not that hard to fix, it's not like I had anything else planned today anyway... (No, seriously, I didn't, I have no life. )

"But Claire...no, Erdathcath...change is what makes us--" So focused on his debate for one friend's sanity, Arthur fails to notice the other one's slipping. Before he can react, the tendrils--and the choice--are out of his hands. "Grimwald...!" he cries impotently, paralyzed by shock. -
Oh, I know, but every time I try to take one of them seriously (except for Poletad, he's a badass), I just become overwhelmed by this impulse to scoop them up and cuddle them. It's basically the same effect as doing a Google image search for "adorable kittens".
-
I'm sorry, the whole "woodland version of Heroica" thing is just too dang cute.

"Claire...I'm immune to the poisons of this place thanks to my...unusual nature--I can't be affected. Minoid and Bookmark are mechanical--they don't have organic bodies to affect. You and Grimwald, however...well, come on. You've seen him change. The same thing's been happening to you--you used to be a valiant Druid named Erdathcath...a druid not so different from who you are now, and yet there was so much more to her than met the eye. She doesn't deserve this...none of it. If you don't believe me, look at yourself. 'Claire' is human--you're not. You're Erdathcath, Claire--your personality, superimposed on top of hers. You can't kill her, because you are her." "You have to eat a Tendril." -
Just a heads-up: it's by no means a requirement, but you may want to read through the three Quests in The Dastan Trilogy, and perhaps even Quest 92. Sort of how 102 is loosely tying in to past Quests of Zepher's without really requiring any foreknowledge of them, 104 will be featuring a LOT of familiar faces. What, you thought you were the only one who conspired with Kinto on a great many things?

"Good lord..." he mutters, before checking the backs of the other pages he'd read which I'm 90% certain I had him take with him like I did the mirrors, but if I didn't let's pretend I did . "Claire? Claire!" He shoves the fungal tendril in her face. "Quickly! If the sickness is overtaking you, you must eat it--both of you!" Even though he was bluffing, he was acting very well, his diplomatic bearing lending credence to his words. "Please...!" -
I suppose it's just happenstance that I tend to gravitate toward them... Yeah, the idea is to ease you in, rather than throwing everything at you full force.
