  1. I think you'll better edit your post and delete that picture It is firstly impossible for us to see it, and secondly, the moderators don't really like attachments To upload a picture: make an account on flickr or brickshelf upload your picture to that account go to your post here and click on edit: now you can put the picture here on the forum by clicking "image" and copy/pasting the link of the image from flickr/brickshelf. (note: the link of the picture on flickr/brickshelf has to be the link of a picture where you can't go anyfurther anymore if you click on it!!!)
  2. Awesome!! A great concept really nice worked out
  3. Really nicely done! A lot of details to love!
  4. Hahahahaha This is awesome All those details! The minifigs! Amazing
  5. Perfect! Our knights are taking a big nap and are spending some quality time with wife & kids, but in about a week they should be ready That one elemental from "Elemental Surprise at Ghuba-ya Biashara" was spotted in the beginning of the battle (for the first time in months), but we could not find his body after the battle was done. So probably he took an arrow in the knee (even it has no knees ) and fled away... Also a giant (scorpion-looking) elemental could be spotted. It killed a lot of our soldiers. But thanks to the Blinding Moment, our lancers could stab and kill it! It was indeed strange that there were so few elementals, but maybe the reason is that it was Valsharess who led the troops and not Victor himself... Although there were a lot of his apprentice mages... I never worked with photoshop to be honest, but I think I will take a try for one or two pictures
  6. @all: Looks like I accidentally removed the link to the flickr set the first time Normally it is working now Well, there are a lot of troops arriving too late to the party We'll be happy to invite the characters who were on their way to the city to celebrate our victory! The whole city is founded on a flat desert, so that's why everything is very straight (like the walls for example) However, I will make some relief in it as the whole thing will be lifted up with 2 bricks (check Evacuation in Mpya Stedor to see an example of how high the ground will be). In that way, I have some more possibilities About the horses, I know, but maybe I'll take some extra pictures with some battle scenes tomorrow. I had to hurry up as it is getting really early dark in Belgium nowadays About the embassy: don't worry As I promised, it will have it's spot in the city
  7. I hope the prof. running away was not the creator of this beautifull monster
  8. One of the first things I will do is sending an army to Queenscross (soldiers & archers) & Albion (knights). However I fear that it will be for next week I was surprised myself to be honest Well, I built the wall, gate & tower indeed already a long time ago, but this is the first time they are connected. Also the gate has changed a bit (a brand new shining tower on it for example), the walls are completely redone (but you really have to look good to see the differences). Also the tower changed a bit (it has an extra door opening now). And there is a second wall who is completely new (a part of it can be seen in the last picture. I have to admit I forgot some battlements on it ). There is also some freshly new rock work & a moat, so I guess the whole lay-out can count as a new MOC
  9. 630 men, divided over 2 armies, ready to fight against each other:
  10. Thanks I put the moat in the lay-out to make the distance between the enemy and the wall bigger I also wanted to try that water technique Honestly, when I was creating the real battle-scene, I already had to remove some minifigs as it was becoming one big mess That's why I only took 2 global pictures of that scene. I firstly intended to create a really epic final battle and take a dozen pictures of it, but after repositioning some of the figures I wasn't happy with the result (again, it was becoming a mess)... The scene is still completely intact, so maybe tomorrow I will try again, but this time just one small battle by one... Maybe this will be better But I can't promise anything I tried to do some extra texture to break the flatness, but only in the corner where Valsharess stands, it worked out very well. At the other places, I removed it again due the reason you mentioned: it's indeed hard to position troops when there is relief
  11. Z: you may start to count But I will help you: around 630 soldiers are in the Battle of Mpya Stedor. Let's say that 80 of them are peasants, mages or skeletons, that means I have an army of 550 men
  12. I am following Gabe with a gigantic MOC: I proudly present you: (click on the picture to go to the topic!)
  13. I agree, but I hope this will be considered as a MOC (it is not only soldiers on a baseplate): (click on the picture to go to the topic!) Man, I am glad this is finished
  14. Prelude: Prelude 1: Chapter II of the Quest for the Alleenridders Prelude 2: Evacuation in Mpya Stedor Prelude 3: Changing Clothes Prelude 4: March to Mpya Stedor (by Niku) Prelude 5: The Battle of Mpya Stedor - 4 O'Clock in the morning (the old title can be found in the spoiler) => Queen Valsharess with her bodyguards, given by Victor Revolword. On their way to Mpya Stedor, they held a small competition to kill as many peasants as possible. You may all guess who lost the competition and what the consequences was for him => Defending the Gate The Battle Of Mpya Stedor - 5.55 O'clock in the morning The Battle Of Mpya Stedor - 6 O'Clock in the Morning - The Blinding Moment => Counter Attack of the army of Mpya Stedor => Arrival of Lord Damaximus in the South => Unexpected help from King Dragonius XXV, King of Drakrydar, on his legendary Golden Dragon! Aftermath There are around 40 pictures of this event on my Flickr!!! All waiting for you!! Check it out here: Thanks for viewing (and reading!) C&C ofcourse welcome!
  15. Really nice use of not every day pieces!!! (like the barrels )
  16. As the resources on planet Earth were almost empty, mankind started colonising other planets. One of those planets full of very needed resources was the planet Neolivor, some weeks travelling from Earth. But as those planets have no Ozon-layer, engineers built big domes over the cities so the colonists could live just like on Earth. In the following 2 pictures, you will see a part of the Capital, a part of the dome and a part of the planet: As you can see, the colonists even could grow trees in their cities!! Also very typical for the colonist cities are the huge "skyscrapers". In the right of the previous picture, you can see a Futuristic Transport Van (FTV) entering the city through a portal, defended by a gigantic solar beam canon! The colonists inside the city can only transport theirself by foot or by the Neolivor Innercity Public Transport (NIPT). Goods and tradeware are transported by the FTV's In next picture you can see a FTV, a NIPT-coach, a battleship and a transport ship: I already built this in the first week of January but I intended to improve it a bit. I didn't really had the time anymore for doing that, so here it is. Also congratulations already to S-M for the big succes of the MSFC!!! There are a lot of really amazing entries C&C ofcoures welcome!
  17. It's the year 2013, A fresh new company starts producing cute little teddy bears. Super quality for a very cheap price! Every child in the world wants to have one, even the kids of the Presidents and greatest generals. Little do they know that when they are asleep, the Teddies come alive and search for important information. It's the year 2015, Little Jimmy wakes up and notices that his Teddy, mr. Cuddle, is gone. While trying to find him, he suddenly hears a strange noise outside the house... The invasion of the Teddy Bears has begun... Equiped with high tech battle mechs, the Teddies are flying over the cities, shooting at everything that moves. Once the biggest obstacles are eliminated, the battle mechs land on the ground and transform to their ground mode, able to step and shoot at every direction they want! (air mode) (Ground mode) I made an extra challenge for myself: build something with bricks coming from one set (Creator set 5764) It was sometimes very tempting to cheat, but in the end I am very pleased with the result It has a very great playability as it can transform from Air to Ground Mode without rebuilding something. And I will be honest to you, I am already playing with this thing the whole day C&C welcome!!
  18. Like I said earlier, this ship is just awesome!!!!!! My English is not good enough to name all the details of a ship, but then again, if it was good enough, the list with all the nice details would be too long for a post About the total MOC: I like how you made the fundaments of the rock! I especially mean those bricks on the edges Also happy to see that SW planet piece incorporated! Maybe I'll use that as well in the future as it fits very well!
  19. I love that dragon but more on that later I am not really following on this one... What has "being affraid of a lil bit more heat" to do with "too few oases" and what has that to do with "barely settled yet"? There are more settlements than there are showed on the maps and a settlement is not always showed on every map, sometimes you have to search for other maps. Here you can see some other maps: http://guildsofhistorica.wikia.com/wiki/Kaliphlin_Maps However, I am kind of confused why it is the oldest map again in the first post and in the Kaliphlin page on the Wikia? Anyway, I posses an almost complete version @everyone else: I wonder: did you saw something on the teaser or was it just one black picture for you?
  20. The enemy finally arrived in the darkest hour of the night: The battle will take place very soon.... (tomorrow probably ) Battle Of Mpya Stedor - Teaser 2 - Bigger picture: flickr Tip: turn off the lights
  21. Nice detailing!! @Masa, I always do the flowers like this as well. But I discovered that there are only a few who are doing it this way...
  22. I know But in game, your family lives already for centuries in Avalonia
  23. The proof that Avalonians never get further than Albion Culture barbars!! Check it here: http://images.wikia....d/Historica.jpg Queenscross is the "Gate" to Kaliphlin. It's the only place where you can easily cross the river and the Great Escarpment. It's a very easy place to defend, so if that would fall, that would mean we are really screwed! Mpya Stedor is historically seen not one of the 3 important cities of Kaliphlin (Barqa, Petraea & Qarkyr), but that's because it is only one year old. If Mpya Stedor would fall, it would be however a very important victory for Victor as this city is a symbol of the (new) Kaliphlin pride & wealth becuase it has some of the highest walls in Historica and a lot of gold & marmer in it's architecture.
  24. Everything fits very well in this picture!!
  25. Haha super!!
