  1. My stick Since we seem to be being evacuated, I'll just leave it.
  2. I'd like to poke Jack's torso with a stick, to see if he's alive.
  3. In the wise words of Sylvia Berent, OMG OMG! *mentally runs around in circles* Thank you very much, Mike! You are truly a kind person. I don't think I can thank you enough.
  4. Happy birthday, Teddy!
  5. I'll go with you. Son, stay here with some others, in case anything gets hairy.
  6. Welcome to Eurobricks! Check out the Canadian, EH! thread for everything related to Canada, and Lego in Canada. I'm sure you'll enjoy the forums.
  7. And here you go, Siegfried Walrus picture 'borrowed' from some MOC of Hinckley's.
  8. I'm just trying to be subtle when it comes to me showing pity on you I think it's just the lighting on the hair piece. We all know Lego have had impossible shadow angles in the past. Don't think I didn't notice the name of the file, by the way...
  9. Really? It says Feb 20th for Canada. Looks like regular tan to me...
  10. Happy birthday, KimT!
  11. Private Ricecracker reporting for duty, Sergeant! (That means I'd like to play )
  12. I may be wrong, but that is what one of our ambassadors told me personally.
  13. Woops. I thought I'd resized them. I'll do that right now.
  14. But we could just point them to this topic Glad I could help!
  15. Here we go. 1. Go to your photostream. 2. Click on the image you'd like to deeplink. 3. Click the "All Sizes" button. Make sure to first select the an image size - that meets the site guidelines - at the top. 4. Right click and select "Copy Image Address". Paste it into the Eurobricks insert image box. I hope this helps!
  16. Hey! What you have to do to post pictures is simple once you find out how. What you have to do is go to the pictures, then click "All Sizes" at the top. You'll get a bigger picture. You can right click and select "Copy image address". Once you've done that, you can just paste it into the image box. I'll try to get a screenshot tutorial of it up quickly.
  17. I saw that this morning, thanks! You can ask people to add pictures to a group you're an admin of by clicking "invite this photo to..." below the comment field.
  18. I go for accuracy in my MOCs, because I build MOCs of real-life vehicles/buildings. That means that I go for a smooth finish, most of the time. However, it doesn't mean that I use tiles. I usually use different SNOT techniques to achieve the angles/looks I'm going for, because I find I have a lot more creative freedom. I also use studs for many details. Headlights and drawer handles utilize studs well, and the nozzles and air horns on my fire truck use studs too.
  19. It really is. I'm going by Ricecracker on the game, what's your username?
  20. I assume you're talking about Cafe Corner, not Grand Emporium. I'd suggest purchasing them in the order they were released, which was Cafe Corner, Green Grocer, Fire Brigade, and, coming out in March, Grand Emporium. Go to the Bricklink entry for Cafe Corner, and then to the inventory. Add the parts to your wanted list, and then go to some stores and click "search by wanted list". You can read up on some of Svelte's thoughts here.
  21. The page I linked to has all available sets there. $290 was the cheapest, and happened to be new.
  22. Hi, Tri95. I'm not a Mod or Admin, but generally, large font sizes are annoying to read, and are often even skipped over. To answer your question, I think it'll be very difficult to get a brand new Cafe Corner for any less than $290 USD. Since it was just recently discontinued, the price will only rise. Check out the Bricklink.com listings for the set.
  23. Hey RazGriz! While that image was posted here on page #67, it appears to have been taken down. I don't actually see the confidential markings on it, it just looks blurry to me.
  24. I highly doubt that they're actually planning anything. Truthfully, I think they're just trying to 'shut you up'. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have a Lego store in Canada, especially in Toronto, but I just don't think it's happening. Lego Canada only has two employees.
  25. Thank you. I'm going for accuracy on this project, so that's good to hear. I am. I'm even doing an interview with one of them, and an unnamed as of yet member of EuroBricks to go in a small booklet alongside it. While it is half a plate-sideways closer to the rear, you're right it does/did look odd. I went and checked on it, and it turns out it wasn't secured properly. Thanks Thanks LT! Always good to hear from you. Thanks, Thok. It's at Montgomery and Yonge, near the Future Shop. The main intersection is Yonge and Eglinton. The Chief's car isn't stationed there, but they visit almost daily. When I talked to a firefighter there a few months ago, they said I should include it.
