  1. Here's an update. I've finally finished the chief's van, an '03 Ford Econoline XL. These pictures aren't very good, and will be replaced when the project is completed.
  2. Yes, because it's already been used in Woody's Roundup, the Toy Story set.
  3. Yes, because it makes it look organized, rather than having a mix of plates and bricks.
  4. Oh wow, that looks great! I love the use of trans plates instead of bricks, because I think the bricks would make it look cluttered. My one suggestion would be to make the windows a little smaller, both height and length-wise. Maybe try turning each of them into two separate windows.
  5. Welcome to EuroBricks, Chris! Have fun here. I can already see you have a good sense of humour PedoBear?
  6. Option three; you! Ok, now I'm actually done.
  7. That's why I included the think/thought. You're still crazy for thinking it in the first place. FYI, this is going to be my last post related to that, I don't want us to get too off topic here.
  8. But so are you. You think/thought it was/is dark orange. Yeah, I'm not letting this go...
  9. I can't find it right now, but I seem to recall reading somewhere that the head of quality control was made aware of the sub-par figs, and immediately stopped the production of them. Is it not possible that these were made beforehand to showcase the figs, and the actual ones will use the correct plastic? Also, as of yet, the sub-par figs have only been in pre-assembled figs, and I think that these are not pre-assembled.
  10. It's about an hour, two max in bad conditions. No, my parents aren't especially interested in Lego themselves, thought they do "tolerate" my hobby.
  11. 1x2 Cheese already exist
  12. Well, my parents drive, but yes
  13. That may be true, but in the past, LEGO has unveiled their sets at the New York Toy Fair. Only European only releases have been unveiled at the UK Toy Fair, to my knowledge.
  14. Welcome Mark! I don't think I ever introduced myself at Brickworld, but I remember your displays. I'm sure you'll fit right in here. I'm pretty sure it got blogged on TBB
  15. Thanks, ILP! I had to make it chrome; I light grey/bley looks terrible on the dark red, and it has metallic silver in other spots, and the pieces I need don't come in metallic silver. It was kind of pricey, though... I'm making this one motorized though... actually, the one at your house is probably motorized, too
  16. I believe this topic might help, if I understand your question correctly.
  17. I just changed a few things around from DarthNick's design.
  18. No son, I think he's right. I don't know why else there would be periods in the anagram. Now we just need to think about how to use S.N.O.T.
  19. I'll help you with that.
  20. I have, I just thought there were enough to use one more...
  21. Not good ones . The back is actually obstructed by another building, so I'm going to freehand that, and it's right beside a house on one side, and a health centre on the other. I'm definitely going to get more pictures of it before it's done, though. I was going to link to the google maps link, but that takes you to the Montreal Canadiens Centre for some reason .
  22. Congratulations to all the winners! Very well deserved indeed. I was considering entering, but was unable to due to time constraints. It doesn't seem like I would've come close, anyway, though .
  23. I'd like to echo the comments about how good the game is! I'm sorry I haven't been as active as I probably should be. I've had a lot of work to do recently, and this game has had so many replies it's just been overwhelming for me. I've caught up now, so I should be able to help out a bit more.
  24. A match, perhaps? I'd like to take one the matches, and try to put it in the hole, very carefully. Then, if that doesn't do anything, I'd like to take it out, light it, and try it again.
